Commonwealth Contracting LLC was the BEST! This was the most professional contracting group to come out and give an estimate. Once contracted,we saw this same professionalism all the way throughout the project. They were efficient, friendly, and got the job done better than we had ever expected. Mike is great- he will answer all of your questions and go into detail about exactly what they are going to do. He will return your calls immediately and works with your schedule. The guys that came out each day were very friendly and polite. When I would go out to see the work they were doing, they would walk me through and explain everything in detail. The project was completed on time and we now have a shed/art studio that is amazing thanks to Commonwealth Contracting LLC. I definitely plan on using them again in the future.

I hired Mike from Commonwealth contracting after purchasing a second home in Charleston, SC. I was very nervous to undergo a complete renovation from a distance but Mike & all of his men made this process seamless for us. The guys were all very trustworthy, helpful & eager to please. We completely renovated the entire townhouse & I couldn't be more pleased. I LOVE the end result! Of course there were a few "bumps" along the way but Mike always handled every situation quickly until it was perfect. I have no hesitation in recommending Mike & Commonwealth Contracting. I'm sure I'll be hiring them again in the future, they were wonderful!

I could not have been happier with the services we have recieved from Commonwealth. Although I gave them a B for "price" I would give them an A for value. Unmatched professionalism, expertise and a worry-free experience. The two larger jobs we had done were completed perfectly, on time, and they literally vacuumed themselves out of my home. These guys don't cut corners and you won't have to chase them down to see if they might show up tomorrow. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Commonwealth.

I was sold the minute I contacted them. THey worked with my schedule when it came to coming out to look at the house. They told me different options we could go with...they set expectations as to when we would have a quote.

The owner was very responsive, in fact he was the only contractor to return my call in a timely fashion. He put me into contact with the roofer he uses who did an outstanding job on our house for a very fair price. Mike contacted me throughout the process at various times including after the job was completed to insure that I was satisfied. I am considering future work on our house at which time I will definitely be calling Commonwealth Contracting.

Original quote came in more than I could afford. Worked with Mike to see if there was a way to get everything repaired and within my budget. He was very accommodating. Workers arrived on time and went right to work repairing everything. They checked to make sure there was no additional damage, and even let me know that some repairs weren't needed and that the price would be a bit less because of it. I wouldn't have known any better, so the honesty was greatly appreciated.

Michael's contractors, Martol Marble & Granite of CHS do the job. Ivan came to my house to measure my countertops. He was on time and very polite and very thorough with his explanation of what was going to be done. I went to their warehouse and picked out the granite I wanted and on Aug. 5th Ivan and his partner were at my house ready to install my countertops. They both were very polite and I have to admit they were humorous also which made for a very comfortable atmosphere. They explained everything they were doing and how to do the upkeep on my new granite countertops. It was a job well done. Ivan also called Michael Miller of Handyman Mike's to come to the house to hook up my new sink which was included in the price with the countertops and my new faucet. Mike arrived about 45 minutes after Ivan and Peter left. Mike was very thorough and told me that my garbage disposal was shot and he went across from my neighborhood to Lowe's to purchase a new one and the parts to go with it that I would need of which I paid for. He returned and installed the faucet and garbage disposal in record time. Mike was very polite and humorous as well. I am very, very satisfied with Michael E., Martol and Micheal Miller. Should I have any further work to be done Michael E., and the rest of the contractors will be the first that I call. Not only do they do a great job but you cannot beat the price anywhere. Commonwealth Contracting, LLC is a highly professional and more importantly, trustworthy company. We selected this company for our home renovations because of their excellent reviews and personal recommendations. The craftsmen were both courteous and hardworking. They far exceeded our expectations, able to start work on our project on our schedule and completed in a timely fashion. This was a comprehensive project, preparing our 3200 sq. ft. home for resale. I was impressed with the personal initiative of the contractor, much appreciated as this job was handled long distance. We relied on our contractor to communicate with us via email and telephone, which he did regularly and thoroughly. Mike, you did an AMAZING job and I would definitely recommend Commonwealth Contracting, LLC, without reservation. The end result was everything we could have hoped for. Mike Eippert, the owner, was excellent at communicating and responsiveness to questions concerning this prospective job. I went with this company based upon communication, reviews and a price 10% lower than another that was recommended to us. Workers were on time, efficient, and professional. Every morning, Logan, the lead on our project, or Jeremy in Logan's absence, would discuss with me what was being done that day, and at the end of the day, what was done and would be done next. This type of communication with us was priceless leaving no questions as to how things were going. However, we were also able to do this as a turnkey operation on days we would not be around when work was to be started or finished, with confidence. Every day, tarps were spread to protect both our carpets and wood floors and removed at the end of the day. The job was completed close to on time with delays only caused by the tile supplier not having the tiles and grout available as needed, even though the order for these items went in over 3 weeks before the project began. Although communication was excellent with us, the homeowners, throughout the job, there were some lacks of communication between the different craftsmen (plumber, painter) and the primary workers which might have made things go a bit smoother. Additionally, the plumber who started the work, and is no longer used by Commonwealth, caused a delay in finishing by setting the valve incorrectly. The new plumber, Rocky, was outstanding in quickly making adjustments so that the job could be finished perfectly. In fact, any and all minor points that were not perfect as the job reached completion were set straight with no hesitation. All in all, having had a few nightmares with contractors in the past, Commonwealth gave us exactly what we wanted, at a fair price in a very professional manner. We would definitely use them again and will recommend them to others. (p.s. I saved about $400 by purchasing the same quality of several of the plumbing fixtures (shower head, hand shower) online well in advance of the work beginning so they would be available at the start of the job compared to the price at Moluf's).

We contacted Mike about renovating our kitchen and arranged a time for a meeting and estimate. He was functional, informative and friendly from the start, all while still offering a competitive price. We had a few estimates and offers, but ended up choosing Commonwealth Contracting to take care of it all for us. We explained what we wanted done, and Mike made it happen. He kept us up to date on timelines as well as costs when changes arose. His teams were there and working daily to knock out the work, and he was willing and able to work around our schedules. They took care of everything from demo to installing new floor tile, new custom made cabinetry, new counter tops, appliance installation, ceiling scraping and painting, trim, plumbing, electrical and all the finer details as well. Mike answered all of our questions and truly made us feel that our satisfaction was important. They offered helpful suggestions and even fixed the trim on our front door for us outside of the kitchen renovation. Mike and his teams truly went above and beyond. I would recommend his services to anyone and will use his services again myself in the future should the need arise.

Mr. Eippert contacted me promptly after I emailed him thru Angie's List. I explained to him what we wanted and he admitted he was not familiar with the oak overlay treads. I told him they were available from several sources including Lowes. He said he would discuss it with his team and get back to me in about a week. Mr. Eippert followed up with me as promised and scheduled someone to visit my home and take measurements. They showed up on the date/time promised. Soon after we received a quote for the work. After making a minor change to the scope, we signed the proposal and a date was set. The crew showed up on the date/time promised. Since it was a relatively small job, only 2 people were needed. They worked very dilligently and got most of the work completed in 1 day. The job was not without problems, however. In order to install the overlay treads, the existing nosing had to be cut off the stairs. When the new treads were installed, it left a portion of the hole (where the nosing used to be) on the siderails exposed. The crew quickly decided to fill all of these holes (32) with wood putty. After drying, they sanded and painted these areas. Also, we asked that they add a piece of quarter round molding at the bottom of the stairs to give it a finished look. They did this without any complaint. In addition, we commented that the risers had a very small gap on the edges and said we thought that they had done as good a job as possible since nothing is perfectly square. However, they agreed to caulk all the edges to eliminate these small gaps. Finally, the adhesive that was used experienced some 'bleed thru' on some of the risers. They willingly repainted all of the risers to correct this problem. The stairs look great and we were very happy with our experience with Commonwaelth Contracting. They are true professionals who care about quality.

Commonwealth Contracting, LLC I received three estimates from contractors. Mike Eippert's estimate was not the lowest, however, what he did provide was a very detailed estimate, for every single item. I did not get that with the other two Contractors we dealt with. When Mike Eippert came out to our house it was very evident from the beginning that he was very professional. When we told him what we were looking for in our Master Bathroom Remodel, he was extremely helpful in providing us with a variety of suggestions/ideas. Mike told us he would provide us with a detailed estimate in a few days. A few days later he came back to our house with a very detailed estimate for the entire project. We told Mike we would get back to him in a day or two with a decision. Obviously it is always difficult to make a decision, but in reality this was an easy choice. Both my wife and I felt Commonwealth Contracting was the right choice. When we asked Mike when our project would start, he was very upfront, and said it would be a few weeks, which I appreciated that he did not tell us it would start in a few days, and here we are still waiting for the project to begin a month later. I cannot say enough about Mike's various crews. They were all such a pleasure to work with, they were courteous, professional, and it was quite obvious they knew what they were doing. I was not looking forward to the demolition of our Master Bath, however, they were amazing, they were so organized and efficient. The tiling crew were outstanding everything they did was perfect. The crew worked perfectly together. Mike's sub-contractors were just the best. The plumber and electrician did a perfect job. The quality of their work was just the best. It was such a good feeling to have all of these people working on our remodel. You always hear about so many horror stories when dealing with remodeling of any type job. This was just the opposite!! We never had a problem with anything. Mike called us every day and asked if we were happy with how the project was progressing. He also told us what was going to happen each day. When my wife wanted to change or upgrade some aspect of the project he was such a gentleman. and did exactly what my wife wanted. He always checked the workmanship of his crew and subcontractors. In fact, when the painters finished their job, my wife and I thought it was perfect, however, he called the painters back to redo a small portion of a wall. When we made our glass choice for our shower, I had made a couple of choices when the glass installers came out to measure. Mike came out the next day and went over those items, and made some suggestions concerning my choices. Again, he said if that was what we wanted he would certainly see that it would be done. However, he did not believe it was necessary and ultimately saved us about $500.00 on that alone. The bottom line is we considered ourselves very lucky to have found Mike. He is very professional and just so easy to deal with. I can't say enough about the finished product, it is beyond our expectations. Now, how close was his estimate? When everything was completed, it was within $100.00. He told us the project would take 3-4 weeks obviously depending on all materials being available. Again, my wife did change a few items, such as, granite, and changed the faucets etc. and his time frame was right on. In conclusion, I would absolutely hire Commonwealth Contractors again and would highly recommend Mike for any remodel project. We just love our Master Bath. Commonwealth met all our expectations and more.

Kept in contact the whole time, let me know the process and how long it would take. Guys were all very professional and hard working. Bathroom turned out great and the insulation upstairs will surely cut down on my electric bill. It looks beautiful. will be asking them to work other projects for me in the near future.

I contracted Common wealth Contracting to install hardwood flooring and to replace the marble surround on the fireplace. Commonwealth Contracting exceeded my expectations in all areas. Initial contact was prompt and pleasant. Mike provided a reasonable cost proposal timely. Work commenced on time and completed on time. The contractors that completed the work were on time, very polite and well skilled. The end result is magnificent! I plan to use Mike and his team for all of my future renovations and maintenance.

Commonwealth Contracting L.L.C was one of the easiest and most professional groups I have worked with. Michael Eippert was my first contact and was very informative to what I was looking for and realistic about timeframes to finish the work. We had 1107 square feet of 3 1/4 Ausrtralian cypress put in our home. This included pulling up carpet, preparing and installing the hardwood floors, and cleanup. The crew doing the work were very professional and respectful and flexible with our schedule. The head supervisor, Tim ,was always approachable and patient with all my questions. We were out of town for 3 days, and I felt completely comfortable leaving the key to the house with Tim. House was always picked up and tools assembled off to the side each night, allowing for safety while we were home. After the floors were sanded and finished, the dust throughout the house was minimal, and they had even vacuumed floors in the house that were not part of the job. In these times when it is hard to find a high quality and honest contractor, these guys take great pride in their work. I tried to think of something I could complain about, because I always question reviews without some issues. So I guess it would be that my wife noted they did not put the toilet seats down. The renovation went very well and was started about a week after we met Mike and continued non-stop for a little over a month. There was always some sort of work going on. My husband and I would walk the dog over to the house in the evening, we are living in an apartment around the corner from our home, and check out the progress and we were always surprised at what Commonwealth had accomplished! It was like opening a Christmas present every day. Unfortunately, my sense of design is not so good, so Commonwealth was in complete control of picking colors, cabinets, counter tops, fixtures, and hardwood, which is the way we wanted it. And I can honestly tell you that everybody that has seen our renovation has loved all that was done! Mike is easy to communicate with, he is quick with responding to phone calls, text, and emails. I was completely confident having him as our contractor. And I would definitely recommend him to anybody that is looking to have work done on their home!

We requested several quotes. Mike responded quickly to our request and was very professional. He always kept us fully informed and aware of who was coming each day. The work started on time and was adequately staffed. Work was completed on time. The craftsmen were all polite and skilled at their work. They did all that they could to minimize the disruption to our life.

My experience with them was great. They were really good and very professional. They were nice, local people. I really liked them and kind of wish I could use them but I used someone else less expensive. Their price was reasonable though.
