We had a bath tub taken out and shower put in. Also, we had separate shower made into Linen Closet. They did an outstanding job. They were on time every day and always cleaned up after work.

It went well. It's challenging to find someone to work on an old downtown house like mine but he worked with me on the budget and on doing what was needed.

Mike, the owner, does a great job bringing his contractors and workers in and making sure all the work gets done. We're ultimately going to have them do a future kitchen remodel, that's how strong we felt about their work. They have some wonderful craftsman and are very detail oriented. They make sure that the details are done appropriately.

The work was high quality , his is on time, professional, they worked all day and the pricing was reasonable.

I needed to add a bathroom and utility area, but did not want to increase a footprint of the house and decided to incorporate my carport into a living area. It allowed me to save on roofing and foundation, but created certain logistical difficulties in the project. Mike and his crew have creatively addressed all the issues which allowed me to maximize the living area while still being compliant with all the building codes. Work on the project was well planned and performed according to the schedule. In fact it took longer to wait for building permit from the county than the project itself. I also wanted to point out that Mike possesses a rare quality for contractor, he is very punctual and responsive. He had returned all my calls/e-mails within a day and had addressed all my concerns or requests in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to work with Mike and his crew and I would hire them for my next project without hesitation.

Mike and his team are very professional and came in within budget and on time. They were always there when they said they would be, and quickly responded to questions we had. Mike helped us not only in the construction but also in the design of the project. He considered things we had not thought about and the project turned out better than we could have imagined. Mike's team was a pleasure to have around.

We are doing a addition to our house. We are completely satisfied with the service. Mike is very responsive and the quality of the work is top notch. We would definitely recommend Mike and Commonwealth to anyone considering work on their house.

Extraordinary service like none I have ever experienced. On time always, calls if 5 minutes late, quality work for reasonable cost. Very net. not a drop of dust left behind. Completed job on schedule. Extremely pleased with finished project.

Quality of work seemed high until parts of floors came unglued, grout chipping in shower, areas missed paint in garage. 6 week project turned into 10+ weeks, WAY OVER PRICED! Sometimes workers wouldnt show the entire week. Had to have dry wall workers come back multiple times because they didn’t take mirrors or towel racks down just worked around them. Workers were nice and polite when at the house. Tons of miscommunication between myself and contractor. Very frustrating remodel job.

Mike was absolutely wonderful! Took care of us from beginning to end. Very fast and included us in every decision. Did not try to up sell anything and very respectful.

They took two weeks to give an estimate then never actually sent over the estimate. Not sure how thats customer centric. The owner was nice but just not what you would expect when you are trying to hire a contractor. I'm assuming this would be a clear indication of how the project would have went.

Scheduled an estimate and then at the last minute was told I wasn't actually scheduled for the day and time previously agreed upon. Rescheduled and they came out for the estimate but they did not provide the estimate for another two weeks and then they came in at almost five times the amount as anyone else.

We are very pleased with the results of our project. The project encountered many unforeseen issues as old bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and floors were taken out, however Mike had excellent solutions for every problem encountered and the additional charges to correct the unforeseen issues were very reasonable.

Highly recommend Commonwealth Contracting! We live out of state and were a bit concerned about doing a total renovation. However, after speaking with other contractors, reading previous reviews, then meeting Mike Eippert, we knew he was perfect for us and our project. We were not disappointed! Not only did Mike and his team deliver exactly what was promised, they kept us informed every step of the way with phone calls and pictures. They answered every email and phone call no matter the time, and the job was finished before the deadline! Thank you Commonwealth Contracting for making our home truly something to be proud of! Mike regularly kept us abreast of the project and communicated r with courtesy and respect. His work is excellent. He made sure it was up to his and our expectation before he sent the bill. I would definitely hire him again. I wish all my projects went this smoothly.

A large tree fell on my home during storm & I hired another contractor to complete repairs which included replacing 9-12 rafters/sheathing/shingles, re-building small front porch & adding 3 windows to sunroom. Original contractor installed the windows & did a lot of work on the roof but were very slow & work was sub-par.....they also had issues getting project permitted & I finally had to let them go. I was in a real bind to get repairs completed as I was in the middle of re-financing house when the storm hit. I contacted Commonwealth & they were able to come out & assess what needed to be done. They got the permits right away & got started. Most of the previous work had to be re-done....they removed the windows & added headers & proper support & re-installed, repaired roof & re-built front porch. All work was done professionally & in a timely manner. Also installed interior trim (baseboards/windowsills/frame) in sunroom, which I requested at the last minute, so house would be ready for appraisal. They did a nice job matching the original trim on older home. Would definitely hire again.

The work was done with exceptional quality. Commonwealth started on time and worked straight through to get the work done. They are very well organized.

I had a difficult time finding someone who was willing to do a "small job" like ours so I went to Angie's List and decided to give Commonwealth Contracting a try. At our first meeting Michael Eippert was actually a few minutes early. He was very personable and helpful and his estimate was sent in a timely manner. It was very reasonable (especially compared to some others I had received). I was very impressed with Mike's entire crew. They were always on time, professional and hard working. Time after time they stated they wanted us to be happy with the work. The final result was amazing and my husband and I were so pleased!! I have recommended Commonwealth Contracting to several of my friends and I will definitely use them again if needed.

He was a very nice guy but we didn't end up going with them for the project. The price was the only reason why we didn't go with them. They were punctual. They were absolutely professional. We would consider them in the future.

Mike and his crews were wonderful! They were on time and the most polite group you'd ever meet. They always cleaned up and the end of the work day and made sure the area was secure so my cat wouldn't escape. As far as I am concerned the work was top notch. I absolutely LOVE my new bathrooms.

Michael was very punctual and did a good job listening to my concerns and offering suggestions. He said he would provide a quote within a week or so. I never heard from him again. I followed up a few weeks later. Michael responded he lost the notes from the walk through due to an office move.

Have not had work completed, but this was the most comprehensive, professional estimate experience I have had. Owner, Mike, spent extensive time going over design possibilities and then supplied a multipage estimate allowing us to see where we might tweak to stay within budget. M

I feel Commonwealth Contracting is very easy to work with. Mike Eippert always responds to any questions we may have had during the process of the work. This is the second major renovation we have had done with "Commonwealth" and both times we were very happy with the results. I will say you need to be patient with how long the project may take. We realized all of these contractors are extremely very busy at this time. However, quality was much more important to me than speed, and all of the work we had done is outstanding. As far as price they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive, however, I feel comfortable that what we paid for the complete renovation was very fair. To me "Quality" of work done is most important and that is what "Commonwealth" provides.
