Wow, it was wonderful. The painting job is PERFECT. The painters (there were 3) were each professional, prompt, talented and easy to work with. Jason Bean is the owner/manager and was able to schedule this 3 day job on just brief notice. He and his team were so good at what they do. It was worth every penny and I would hire them again and again.

Over all Jason was prompt courteous and VERY thorough. In fact he arrived early and did his walk-through of before I arrived. He only had a few questions at that point. I was very comfortable with his abilities and did a great job at answering questions I had. He emailed me an estimate a few hours later and it was extremely detailed. I received a number of bids and the decision came down to Jason's company and the company recommended by my drywaller. The bids were very close and the only reason I did not end up using Jason's company was due to timing and my tight schedule and completion date.

Overall I give them an A rating

I got a good price from them and they looked good would use them in the future. For the kitchen cabinets they quoted $2000 and for painting the interior of the house they quoted $1800. They seemed to be very good and professional.

I have had numerous dealings with Charleston Paint Masters and Jason has always been very responsive. Great customer service. Very knoweldgeable about paint and painting. His painters are always friendly and on time. I would recommend Jason and Charleston Paint Masters to everyone.

Jason was great to work with! He responded to my initial inquiry immediately. Even though his company was booked up for the two weeks after my call, he was able to squeeze our job in so we could have everything painted prior to moving our furniture in. His estimate was lower than two other companies I contacted. He was extremely professional and came out for an estimate. His painters arrived first thing Friday morning and were professional, fast, and accurate. They did an exceptional job. We will have Jason and his team paint our master once we have the color selected. We will also be using them for any exterior work we need in the future.

Jason contacted me and said he had returned to Charleston, SC and started another painting company. We discussed how picky I am and he assured me he could live up to my expectations and he did.

Jason came back after the below bad experience and repainted with the appropriate paint at no charge. I did the legwork to find out what to use but he stood behind his work which is the most important thing. On the past visit in September I showed Jason my kitchen cabinet trim that did not match the rest of the cabinets because they were added after initial installation. He explained the original paint was lacquer and the new trim was not. We discussed lacquer vs oil based and he explained lacquer would be more costly but he did not say oil based would not match the existing cabinets either. We agreed trim would be sanded and painted in October. Today the work was done. Sanding job was adequate but oil based paint is shiny and trim looks worse now than did before. As painting started I commented to painter that the shine did not match existing cabinets. Painter and Jason/owner assured me paint would cure and when I questioned Jason via email he said we had agreed on oil. In my opinion if the painter is the expert and knows what will match and what will not his expertise should keep him from doing something that will not please the customer and this does not. I am very disappointed. Outdoor railings look fine.
