American Carpet Cleaners

Due to my work schedule, I could not personally be at the house, so I had my brother meet the service provider. My brother made a video of all of the dirt and grim that was pulled from the carpet. The water was also very soapy, which was unusual. He stated that someone must have tried to clean the carpet previously and used dish detergent, which his machine kept pulling up. The carpet was extremely wet when I arrived home that evening. I was told it would take 24hours to dry completely. The previous owners of my home must have had pets? there were several pet stains that he said the could not pull up because his machine only extracts the cleaning solution from the carpet and does not have a brush to actually scrub the carpet. He said that cat hair was matted into the carpet fibers, making it difficult to clean. When I looked at the carpet the next day, it looked really nice. The pet stains were definitely visible. A couple of the rooms looked fantastic in comparison to their before cleaning appearance.

Rob showed up and he was amazing! He was so courteous and happy cleaning my carpets. He noticed we had dogs and we chatted about our pets and he couldn't have been better! When I need them cleaned again, I want him to come out in the future!

It was a terrible experience. We agreed on the price of $109 over the phone. That was supposed to be for the master bedroom, 3 bedrooms, upstairs den, small hallway, and area rugs. Once the cleaning person showed up, they raised the price to $119. They were trying to charge me more than $119. We actually had to compromise on that price (after I was quoted $109). They couldn't get out any of the stains that I asked them to get out. I had pet stains and coffee stains. Once the cleaner left, my daughter actually got the stains out herself. It was just a horrible experience.

Not well. Two different types of carpet were to be cleaned.

It went well - the carpet was cleaner at the end than it was in the beginning, which is really all I"m asking. There's only so much that they can do with a ten-year-old carpet with mysterious stains.

The technician showed up after some scheduling conflicts and did a great job cleaning the entire upstairs. He honored my Angies List deal and didn't try to tack on additional costs while doing a fantastic job. Overall very good customer service.

They were cheap, they came and did the work and left. The price is probably why we used them. They are okay but you get so much you pay.

Okay. My wife was not as pleased. She usually cleans the carpets herself and gets them emaculate (uses a heavy duty carpet cleaner). She thinks it was not as thorough as she gets it. This job was done because her health is bad and she needed the help.

Did well on carpet without spots , but when pointed out specific ares of concern with spots he seemed not to give it extra attention and spots are still evident after treatment. Disappointed

Pros: initial call and scheduling was a breeze! Very polite and courteous. Explained my needs and they described their services. Did make a second trip when I called to complain of work but an additional fee was charged. Cons: laten on arrival. Spent minimal time cleaning areas described above. Apparent miscommunication between what my needs were and what was completed. Had to make a second trip as I was not happy. Again, minimal time and care taken. Spots reappeared after a month.

Very prompt and professional. The clean was ok, but not impressive.
