Alex, the Tech, was very polite and helpful. He diagnosed the problem, advised me that parts had to be ordered, and said that his office would call to schedule a date and time to come out for the repair. As promised, I received a call and scheduled the repair date. Approximately 30 minutes before his arrival, Alex called and said he was on his way. He came out, and again he was polite and personable, and promptly went to work. He quickly repaired the machines, politely thanked me and went on his way.

Technician was able to arrive ahead of schedule - which was our expressed desire when we set up the appointment. He was prepared and quickly diagnosed the problem with the dishwasher. The customer service representative subsequently followed up promptly with a total cost for the needed part and the labor charge for installation.

Service tech (Alex) called ahead as we were told he would and went through the sequence of steps to try to determine the problem. After a short time, the problem was found to be a clogged discharge hose, which he fixed. He was very thorough, polite, and informative. Cleaned the area after he finished and all has been fine since.

Excellent work. On time and extremely professional. They did have to order a part but will return and install with no additional service fee. I will only use 911 Service Today for my appliance repair needs.

It was easy to schedule an appt.; and I used the repair diagnostic coupon. The repairman was knowledgeable about the problem and what it would take to repair it. The part was ordered and within 2 weeks, the repair was done. The repairman who did the repair was friendly, personable, professional and thorough, explaining any questions I had. Angie's List also had a coupon for the large appliance repair, but they wouldn't accept that coupon as I had used a coupon for the repair diagnosis, so I would have preferred if they accepted both, since they were two separate coupons, but overall, I'm satisfied with the cost.

It was $895.75 for a new compressor and then my neighbor was able to take the fridge and get it working with just a $30 part and a $75 service fee. It works still today. This was the firs time I had used the list and it was highly disappointing that he was unable to be honest and upfront with me.

I called in the morning and the job was done that day. The gentlemen who performed the work were very knowledgeable and professional. They handled everything efficiently and when they left, the area was neat and clean. It just doesn't get any better than this!

I called on Tuesday to schedule an appointment for Friday. A woman answered the phone and answered my request. She schedule a service for Friday the 13th. She informed me that the engineer would call me while on the way and his name was Alex. I was pleased to know that the engineer had been selected and a specific name was attached. I immediately felt more comfortable with 911 service today. The appointment was scheduled for between 10 – 11:30. Alex called about 10:15 to inform me he was on his way and would be here in about 15 minutes. He arrived on time. Alex was polite and professional. He went right to work on diagnosing the issue. He was quickly able to determine the issue and suggest a resolution. We agreed on the resolution and Alex was quickly able to fix the issue and get my freezer back up and running. Alex was able to explain all along the way what he was doing and what he was finding. I found it informative. The fix was completed in about 45 minutes and was much less expensive than I had planned for. My wife was attempting to purchase a new refrigerator and with the assistance of 911 Service today I was able to get a repair completed. Thank you Alex.

Called this company based on the number of positive reviews. Called and got an appointment for the next day. They already had an idea what the problem was going to be based on my call to customer service, a damaged exhaust fan motor, and that's what it was. They said the oven was safe to use till the new part arrived. About 7 days later they called to set up the service to install the part. Appliance repairs can often be expensive so it's nice to find an appliance repair company that does it's work well.

All was well, they change the part. After the washing the first load of clothes there was a loud noise coming from the machine that I hadn't heard before. I call the office and informed him about the issue. I made another appt to have the team come back out. They change the part out and said it was a defective part. Since than the wash machine has been working like new again.

I wasn't too happy with that at all. I used it pretty soon because I needed the service. I said it was a waste of time and money. I had to call somebody out, so that money went down the drain. They didn't do anything. I think it was a misrepresentation.

I was trying to help my parent's. I don't live in the same state as my parents. I decided not to use the coupon, and they were kind enough to refund my money. They were polite and professional. I don't remember why I decided not to use the coupon, but it had nothing to do with the reputation of this company.

Technician conducted a site visit to troubleshoot a faulty washing machine. Diagnosis discovered a faulty clutch. Part was ordered and installed the following week. The entire process was professional, thorough and thrifty.

w part. Technician came out when he said he would be there and performed diagnosis. Ordered part and returned to install in a timely manner and left me with a temporary solution while we were waiting on new part to arrive. They will g et my call when I have issues in the future.

It went smoothly and communication was great. Given the nature of the repair, I don't think it was expensive for what was done.

Workers were very professional. They new exactly what was wrong with the washing machine and repaired it immediately. After this experience I would not use any other company.

I called this morning after we realized that our washer was broken last night after it was overloaded with clothes. My husband and I got in a HUGE fight about it and we were worried we'd have to get a new washer. I got their name on Angies List and emailed them last night and got up and called first thing this a.m. (before checking if they emailed me back -- and they did, I just didn't check until I got into the office). I believe I spoke to Alison or Bonnie (?) and she was super helpful and nice. She got Jim Doherty to come over between 12-2. He came on time, fixed it and charged $85 which was way better than getting a new one and helped keep the peace in our house. He was incredibly knowledgable, helpful, nice and pleasant. Couldn't have been a better experience!!!! THANK YOU 911!! You ROCK!

This service was done on our house that we are currently renting - the tenant complained that the Oven was not functioning properly. The technician for 911 Service Today checked everything out and determined that the Oven was OK. We live in a different State and we never had to use an Appliance Repair Company before. So when we were told that nothing further needed to be done, we are not only impressed with this Company's integrity and honesty but also their exceptional customer service. I would certainly recommend this Company if someone had a problem - both real and imagined - with an Appliance.

Before I tell the tale of the successful repair, readers should note that the "Coupon for '911 Service Today' Coupon $10 off for Angie's List Members" MUST be used on the initial visit when they diagnose the problem! Whether you call, go online or when they visit it is useless after that visit as I found out too late and am out the $10 because I didn't know this was the case. It doesn't say this on the coupon when you print it. Our Samsung refrigerator was no longer dispensing water through the door even though ice was being made top and bottom and water was flowing if the filter was removed. (Samsung has a bad reputation for appliance repairs we have found as we previously had cracks in this machines plastic door shelves and had to replace a washer lid through 911 Service Today when the plastic cracked on it.) Alex and his apprentice/assistant were polite, friendly, professional and apparently experienced in refrigerator repair. It was determined that the unit in Samsung refrigerator that includes valve for water to dispenser and ice makers and incorporates the filter needed to be replaced as it was not recognizing the new filter when installed. The part was ordered the next day and installed the next week along with a small device to sound an alarm if water accumulated in the refrigerator. Eight yours later, the alarm sounded and a small amount of water was in the fridge. Two days later, Alex returned and removed and reinstalled the unit in question. Six hours later, the alarm sounded that there was again water in the fridge. It was determined by Alex at the office that the unit was faulty and another new one should be ordered. I was told that it would be set for overnight shipping. Five days later, not having heard anything, I called and they had no knowledge of this being set for overnight shipping. However, they had the expected date of arrival (one week after reordering) and would be here to install it the next day. Alex again installed the new unit with no difficulty and one week later, there have been no alarms and the unit is working well.

Excellent. Very prompt. Had to order a part for the dishwasher then came back on a Saturday to install. Very professional. Have recommended them to our neighbors.

They were okay. I actually ended up, they identified parts I needed for my appliance, dishwasher, and they told me they would order them that they couldn't find them in stock anywhere so I went online and found the parts and ordered them and when I called them back and I said, you couldn't get them but I could so you going to come out and put them in and I'll pay you to do that and he said, well, they kind of hemmed and hawed back and forth on the phone and they said, well we don't really make money, we make our money on the parts we don't really make our money in coming out and installing them. So I said forget it, I will do it myself. The guy that actually came out was good and everything. He came out and identified the problem and everything but I think the failure was back in the office.

Great service, lots of info to help me in the future. Dryer like new now!

I was given a short window of time (12:30-2:00) that the repair guy would be here. He was here at 1:00 so there was no long wait. Andrew changed the control panel in no time. He showed me the area that caused the short. He was so friendly, courteous and knowledgable of the problem. My oven now works fabulously and just in time for Thanksgiving!!
