911 Service Today

I called 911 Service on Thursday afternoon and scheduled an appointment for Saturday afternoon. The technician arrived on time and was aware of the problem from my description to the receptionist. The technician was willing to show me what he was doing so I would be able to fix it myself if the drain line plugged again.

We were very pleased with the service 911 provided. We called to have 911 Services come out to give us an estimate on repairing our Maytag dryer and Maytag refrigerator. The appointent was schedule for a few days later. The crew was on time and very efficient. The dryer cord was replaced on sight with a power cord they had on their truck. The refrigerator's part needed to be ordered. The office called the next day to give us the price on the filter housing. We agreed on the cost and they ordered the part. In 2 days they came to replace the filter housing.We would use them again and recommend 911 services to our friends.

Jim, from 911 Service, arrived on time and diagnosed the problems and explained the issues to this novice. Parts were ordered after I was called with all prices. When the parts came in I was called and another appointment was made. Jim arrived on time and now the stove works like new. Everyone that I spoke with were well spoken, knowledgeable, and polite. Technician called 20 min's prior to arrival. Arrived at specified time. Went right to work. Isolated the problem. Commicated his findings to me and answered all my questions.I declined there repair since I was able to do the repair my self . There was no additional charges or hidden cost. All In all the service was better than expected.

About 4 months ago the main oven associated with the stove/range stopped heating. We have a second wall oven and have been thinking about remodeling the kitchen in a few years so we decided to just try and live with the older wall oven. Well about two weeks ago this oven stopped working as well. Since I like to bake and need an oven I called 911 Services to come and give a quote on repairs after seeing all the great reviews here. They were very easy to work with and scheduled around my work schedule. They determined both ovens needed new controllers and warned me the older one would be more expensive due to age and the fact it was a wall oven(they were right). I checked online for costs for the new controllers to compare with the estimates for repair. The added cost for them doing the repairs wasn't too bad so we decided to have them repair the newer oven and we would think about the older oven for a while. Again they showed up when scheduled. At this point I was really glad I had not decided to do it myself since the oven had to be pulled out, the stove top removed, and the replacement part required a fair bit of re-wiring. The technician did a great job and now I have an oven back to bake in.

I want to be as fair as possible, because I think they are good company. But, buyer beware, the cost of their service is simply too high. I called them for a high pitched noise coming from my water filter on my GE refrigerator. Even though the title says 911 service today, they told me that it would take two days. I was troubled by the false advertising but only a little bit (people get busy, I understand). $70 for the serviceman to come. They were prompt and professional. They diagnosed the problem: the water filter housing. I looked up the part on line, it costs 80$ retail. 911 called me and said the cost would be approximately $180. I told them that I had found the part for only 80, and they told me it was for complicated labor. Mmmm, complicated labor? Their technician told me it would take five minutes to replace when he was at my house. I didn't object because, frankly, I am already $70 in and I dont' want to call another company. I am hopeful that the company will heed my complaint and adjust the price accordingly. $100 of labor should be $100 of work. This is not the first time I've read something about their pricing on Angie's List. I think it's a problem, but something that can be addressed by the company with a little due diligence.

On Sunday morning, my wife tried to use the dryer and found that there was no power to the machine. After a few of the obvious solutions were tried: resetting circuit breaker and re-plugging the machine we knew a service call was necessary. I called 911 Service Today, Inc. and left a message on their voice mail. Michelle returned my call early on Monday, the next day, as I expected. Michelle was very thorough in leading me through the possible solutions in case a service call could be avoided?nice touch. She then explained the costs and options depending on whether a service call would solve the problem or a return call would be needed because of the need for a part to be ordered. Michelle contacted the service tech, Alex, to ensure that he could respond and we set up a call for between 11 and 12 that Monday. Alex called 20 minutes before he arrived, which was a few minutes earlier than 11. He and his assistant, Jim, immediately went through their trouble shooting to see where the problem lay. The machine was fixed with in about 30 minutes. Both Alex and Jim were very professional and nice to talk with as they kept us informed on what was going on during the call. The total bill was $70 ? much less than I was expecting! 911 Service is also taking part in a charitable campaign by knocking off $10 if you donate canned goods to a local food bank ? another very nice touch. 911 Service and the team, Michelle, Alex and Jim are on the top of my list for service on any appliance that we need repaired. Outstanding!

I called 911 Service Today on a Saturday morning after I discovered that my Whirlpool Duet washing machine wasn't working. I left a message on the company's answering machine and was surprised when a person called me back about 10 minutes later. The woman was friendly and professional and she scheduled a service person named Alex to come out to my house later that afternoon. I was very impressed with their ability to come out the same day I called, especially because it was a Saturday. Alex called in advance to tell me he was on his way and arrived on time. He was professional and informative and diagnosed the issue with my washing machine quickly. I authorized him to order the sensor switch that had malfunctioned in my machine and he came back just a few days later to install it. I'm sure 911 Service Today has earned there great reputation because they have great technicians like Alex on their team. This company is prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again in the future.

We picked them from Angie's list because of their rating and reviews. This was our first time using Angie's list so we weren't too sure what to expect. Needless to say we are most happy with our choice. We set up an appointment that worked with our schedule. They called to confirm and then called again when they were about 20 minutes away. Alex and Jim arrived, introduced themselves and went to check out our ailing washer. When they were done with their exam, they told what they thought the problem(s) could possibly be. I felt confident that they were being fair and honest with their findings. They had their office call us to give us an estimate for the part(s). We decided to go with the hot water valve first to see if that would correct the problem. When the part came in, we again set up a convenient time with our schedule for the installation. The charge for the second trip was for the part only. There was no additional service charge. To sum up I would say they were prompt, personable, and very professional. They also had ordered the motherboard in case the valve did not correct the problem. It was that kind of concern and forward thinking that gives them an A+++ rating.

Very satisfied. They were not inexpensive, but they stayed within the quote.

Overall I had a great experience. The only negative I would say is that I thought the price was a little high. They charged $70 just to come out and then another $25 to do the work. They were only here for about 20 minutes and I thought that was pricey for the short amount of time it took to complete the work.

The overall responsiveness, punctuality, and commitment to customer satisfaction was excellent.

Our refrigerator went down on a Friday night. Called these folks on Saturday and set appointment for Monday. We could have opted for weekend service but decided to wait until Monday. The service techs (there were two of them, one in training) were prompt, courteous, and friendly. They both seemed to like what they were doing. The diagnosis took only a few minutes, and the tech even bypassed the troublesome motherboard to check to be sure the compressor was still functioning. We decided not to fix the refrigerator due to the price of the needed part and the age of the unit, so this was truly only a service call (no installation of new, replacement parts). Because we were going to be replacing the unit, we picked the tech's brain about several brands, which ones he thought, through his experience, were the best ones. Although he did not recommend any particular brand, he gave us his insight based on his experience. He was patient and very helpful answering our questions. Excellent customer service.

When I called Monday morning to make an appointment, the lady on the phone was very helpful and informative. She explained the company's pricing and how I would be charged. They did not have an appointment for that day but promised to be out first thing on Tuesday. She also said that if they had an opening she would call me back. Sure enough, at 4pm she called and said someone could be at my house in 20 minutes. Two gentlemen showed up, handed me a buisness card and checked out the washer. After a quick check they determined that the latch on the door had broken preventing the washer from "knowing" the lid was closed. In about 20 minutes the washer was fixed. They were very professional and friendly. I would use this company again and will recommend it to anyone.

I would hire this company again with the feeling that I am getting very good service without being overcharged or misled.

The refrigerator and the electric dryer at my daughters condo (she rents it) both quit working the same morning. Her tenants called and informed her of the problem and as she was on her way to work, she asked me to see what I could do as far as getting someone to come and take a look. I called 911 Service Today and spoke with a delightful young lady named Alexis. She mentioned that they had a full schedule of calls but they would come out that evening if it was OK with me. She told me all pricing and cost scenarios over the phone. The technician, Arik, showed up right on time, diagnosed the problems with both units and had them up and running by the time he left. This is a top flight outfit that I highly recommend.

Exemplary service - from initial phone call to writing the check! 911 technician came out the same day we called. Identified the problem, had the parts on the truck. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Probably the best technicians we have ever had service our appliances. Will refer to friends and neighbors.

Our 8 year old Frigidaire refrigerator stopped cooling. We called 911 Service on Monday morning. Michelle was very professional and explained their billing process thoroughly. She arranged for a technician to come out that afternoon. Eric (also the owner of the business) arrived right on time and went straight to work to determine the cause of the problem. He said that it was either the starter or the compressor and said if it was the compressor we would likely want to buy a new refrigerator due to the expense. The starter would be a much less expensive repair. He explained though that he would need to order a new starter and install it to see if that was all that was needed. And he said that if the new starter didn't fix the problem (i.e. the compressor was bad), then we wouldn't have to pay for the starter. We were very impressed with that offer! Michelle called that evening to give us the cost of the starter, and then called again the next day to let us know it had arrived and to schedule a time for installation. They worked around our schedule to have the technician return as soon as possible ( they scheduled a 7:30AM appointment). Again, right on time. And the starter was all we needed. We were very pleased with the professionalism, the efficiency, and the honesty of 911 Service as well as the outcome of this service experience.
