He was very friendly and knowledgable. Was honest in his opinion of whether to replace or repair. I would definately recommend them.

I have a Frigidaire refrigerator that is not cooling. The freezer is working but not very well. First, I checked the 911 Service website and saw a couple of suggestions to try before calling a repair person. When that did not work, I called the office and spoke to Michelle. She was very professional and pleasant. After telling her what was happening, she suggested something else to try. She also said that some of these refrigerators have "sealed units" that are apparently very expensive to fix. I am currently trying her suggestion and may be replacing the refrigerator. I so happy that I got an honest person to deal with. I know I have had problems with appliances in the past and called other appliance repair places who would just send a repair person, charge me an arm and leg just to tell me the unit could not be fixed. I WILL use 911 Repair again. Thanks so much!!

They came by and checked out the float switch but determined that the main board needed to be replaced. At that point I decided to put in a new one as the one I had was 13 years old. I will use them when ever I have an appliance issue.

Diagnosed our washer problem and recommended to replace it. He estimated the cost of fixing and it would have been more than a new one due to the major problem we had. We would recommend them. We have used them before.

We dealt with a technician at our house but we also spoke to some of the people in the office. The company seems to be very well run. They were very customer service oriented and accommodating. They had a technician (Jim) out to our house within hours of the first phone call. We had to order a part and wait for it to come in, so Jim came back about a week later to install it. He was extremely friendly and professional. He answered all our questions and left everything clean and running perfectly. Would definitely use them again if we run into any issues with our appliances in the future.

Very polite on phone and patient despite my kids who always seem to have a melt-down whenever I get on the phone. Service man showed up on-time and was clean, articulate, and friendly. Upon arrival, he opened my refrigerator and felt where the cold air was blowing from and told me that it was very cold in there and was blowing a lot of cold air. (I knew that -- that is why I called). He looked in the freezer briefly, and then pressed the temperature button on the front panel (to check that it was set to the maximum temperature level). He took a picture of the model number inside the refrigerator door. He then got on the phone and called his boss. After a few minutes, he was off the phone and told me it was either the "damper" or "thermsistor" -- I already knew that from my own research. I asked him how he knew which one it was and he said he had to do some more research, but that I had nothing to worry about because he would determine which part it was and then someone would call me tomorrow and that if it turned out not to be that part, he would remove it and put in the other one -- that I wouldn't have to pay for the unneeded part. Ummm ... okay, I was expecting a little more thorough diagnosis and thorough investigation of the damper and thermistor. He said I could place some shipping tape over the damper to block some of the cold air. I retrieved the shipping tape, he put a piece over the vent cover, I paid him the $75 for the "service call" and he left. The next morning, I received a call and was told I needed a damper and thermister and that the price for the parts would be $285. That amount sounded high to me, so I checked on-line and the parts could be purchased for $125. Wow -- that is quite a mark-up for parts. So, I did more research and found that the damper is just a plug-in at the top of the refrigerator. So, I took it upon myself to look more closely at the damper. I took it out of the refrigerator (it took my 10 minutes to figure out where it was and how to remove it.) Upon examination, I found that it was not working correctly and was clearly stuck "open". So, I called a local supply house and bought the part for $79, came home and installed it in about 5 minutes. It has been several days and my refrigerator is now cooling properly, not freezing food. This company did no on-site technical diagnosis and only read on the internet what other people have reported and could be the source of the problem. I hired a technician and received a friendly opinion for which I paid $75. They then tried to sell me parts at over double the price of what I can buy them for locally.

Noticed the problem at 9 am. Called at 9:30, customer service woman was very courteous, pleasant and helpful. Arik was at the house by noon. Diagnosed the problem within minutes. Unfortunately, the motherboard had a bad relay. He removed it and showed where the contact had burned the board. Additionally, he found a bad thermocouple that affected defrosting (he again showed me the part and how it was defective). His estimate was very accurate and given that info decided to go ahead with the repair. Both the board and thermocouple were replaced within a half hour. The 911 techs work expediently and smartly, no wasted time. Arik also afforded us a few tips on maintaining other appliances as well. A great experience and will use them again.

The belt on our dryer drum broke. While inspecting the damage they determined the idler pulley and drum pads needed to be replaced also. The parts arrived when 911 Service Today promised, and their techs arrived as scheduled. We were thoroughly pleased with their service and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs appliance repairs.

I found 911 Service today on AngiesList and they had such high ratings that I decided to give them a try and am glad that I did. I will definitely use them for any breakdown of appliances in the future. They were here to check it out, got the part ordered, (due to the Holidays it took a little longer) called us to set up a time to come and do the repair. Jim was a GREAT repairman and explained everything. I would recommend them to everyone. Just read their reviews. We are very satisfied and they work on all & I know you will be too.

I called 911Service Today because of the great reviews on Angies List. The lady that answered was very courteous and professional. She was very informative re: services and costs. When the service man arrived, he was very friendly and professional. He found a loose connection in the dryer and had it running in minutes. Although the cost of the service call was more than some of the competitors, I feel that the total cost was very fair and the whole experience was very pleasant.

For each issue they had to order parts. But the parts arrived very quickly and the serviceman was unbelievably fast and efficient. He REALLY knew those appliances. In addition, he was friendly and entirely professional. I cannot judge the costs as they seemed to be based on the specific parts and I have no basis for comparison. However, the costs did seem worth it given the age of the appliances, 7 years, and the fact that they are now functioning like new. I would definitely use them again.

From the phone call to initiate service to Alex's visit, it was a home run. I had to reschedule once prior to Alex's visit and the rescheduling process went very smoothly. Alex showed up on the early side of the time parameters, determined the problem and had all the tools necessary to fix the problem. He did not try "upsell" me on any unnecessary parts and was a true professional, got the job done and did not leave a mess.

When I first called the appointment scheduler was amazing. She checked to see if my appliance was still under warrenty for me with the manufacturer just in case I could get services from them for free. She worked me in to their schedule and had a tech out quickly. The tech was prompt, efficient, and extremely professional. Even though my appliance was not repairable, he was quick to provide options and even had some great suggestions where they were on sale. Then, to top off this amazing experience, after he left the scheduler called me back to suggest that I go ahead and call the manufacturer to see about some options. My warrenty had expired about a year and three months before and she just wanted me to check with them to make sure they would not honor it. Turns out that this was a great suggestion and because of her, I received a replacement appliance of better value for 50% off the price, which was about $800 less than what I had found in the sales the tech had suggested. Overall, I feel like 911 went above and beyond to help me through this trying and expensive repair! Thank you for your dedication to service, your honesty, and your integrity to helping!

All went great. The dryer is about 20 years old and some parts are no longer available but Alex wanted to look at it anyway. He arrived when he said he would, checked the machine and found that it just needed a good cleaning out and replace the exhaust hose. My dryer works like a new one! Completely satisfied!

Applied the $10 discount for Angie's List members and put the stove back in operation. The initial call was made on the weekend and response was made back later that same day. Repair was set for the first of the week to meet our schedule. While this repair turned out to be minor, I'm sure I'll call them for any trouble in the future.

Check the refrigerator - engine was dead. Based on his information I decided to buy a new one instead of fix the old one. Hones information, nice guy, reliable.

Not only did he fix the problem but because I have severe back problem and cannot bend, h ook the time to clean up the very bottom of fridge. Great experience!

Refrigerator icemaker was not making ice. The Repair Technician, Jim, did a thorough problem investigation and determined that the icemaker itself was not the problem (i.e., didn't try to sell me something I did not need). Jim determined that a fan motor in the freezer compartment had failed and was causing the freezer not to get cold enough for the icemaker to function. Parts were ordered and Jim returned in a few days, replaced to fan motor and confirmed that everything else was working properly. Icemaker and freezer are working great! I really appreciate the honestly and professionalism exhibited by 911 Services. I can recommend this company to others without hesitation. I will use them again when the need arises.

Scheduling an appointment was very easy and we received a confirmation call the day prior to our scheduled service. The repairman phoned us about 30 minutes before arriving as promised. The repairman was very polite and professional and performed the repair service very efficiently. The price was extremely reasonable. We were very pleased with every aspect of the service. We will definitelt use "911" again for any type of appliance repair and will recommend them highly to our friends and family.

The owner was the repairman, and he was extremely helpful. He could have charged me for looking at my range and refrigerator, but instead he only charged me for the oven repair. He had lots of hints to help take care of my appliances so that we wouldn't encounter the same problems. Very punctual... was actually early. I would definitely call him again and refer to friends!

I am new to Angie's list and also to this incredible Company!! I was desperate after getting a major run-around from a local well established appliance repair center [12 days and no refrigerator], called Jenn-Air and received the names of 3 local repair companies that they recommended. I googled the names and two of the three had an F rating with BBB and horrible reviews. The other needed a week to do a service call. There is the background. I joined Angie's list and 911 Service Today was at the top of the list in my seach. I called at 9:30 a.m., had a technician (Jim) at my home in less than 3 hours. He was both professional and extremely thorough. Diagnosis was that one of two parts were needed and that they would provide a quote within 24 hours. He examined two major parts and devoted more than an hour diagnosing the issue. Last night I came home to a fully operable refrigerator - remarkably. I called them this morning, spoke with Jim who simply said "if it ain't broke don't fix it" - we could only surmise that perhaps there was a loose connection and that by examining the parts he remedied the issue. I still requested a quote for replacement of parts and was pleased to hear what I considered a reasonable estimate in the event the problem does re-occur and the repair is required. Another bonus - they offer a senior citizens discount of $10! I own a small business and have for 33 years and know what customer service is all about - these folks exemplify it. I had contact with Susie, Brittany and Jim - they each well represent this Company with professionalism and courteous, prompt customer service. These are THE people to call when you need appliance repairs!!

I had to decide if I needed to repair my 11 year old refrigerator. Michelle went over all the pro and cons. She told me all the costs involved. decided to replace... she could easily convinced me to have someone come our for a service call - and the decide to replace. love honesty!

The repairman knew his business, had to order the needed part. The office called when the part came in on Friday. He came on Saturday to do the installation!!! We were more than satisfied.
