Blue Sky Tree Care

It went well. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. They thinned out the branches on the live oak and removed branches near the power lines running to our house. Other companies had lower quotes to simply remove the limbs from the power lines but I feel like Blue Sky took into consider the overall health and appearance of the tree. We have used them previously (in April 2013) to remove trees from a previous property we owned and were equally as pleased with their service each time.

Andrews was very prompt in getting back with my husband. He was able to do the work quickly and very professionally. He and his team even cleaned up after removing several trees. My neighbor appreciated the fact that he laid down plywood so as to not disturb his yard. These guys are the best -will use again and again!

Very well! Andrews and his crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. They took the time to interact with my elderly neighbor (they had to pull the chipper truck into her yard) and make sure she was comfortable with the process. They worked safely, steadily, and without incident to complete the work in less time than estimated.

They were on the side of the house which is very close to the house next door, so they did not have much room in which to work. They also ground the stumps. They were extremely professional. All members of the team were friendly, delivered the service better than anticipated. Though expensive, they worked with me on the price and I think they were worth it. They were very speedy; I couldn't believe how quickly they completed the job. Best of all, the next day they had cleaned up so well it was as though they had never been there -- in fact, it looked better than before they came. I would definitely recommend them.

Blue Sky provided outstanding service. The service was performed timely, staff was professional and all debris removed. My yard looks great now. I look forward to my flowers, shrubs thriving due to having plenty of sunlight.

When they were done you could not tell there was trees there except for the dare spots in the grass. If I ever need more trees cut down I will call Blue Sky.

Crew arrived on time, removed trees, and cleaned up all debris. We have used them before.....will not use anyone else in the future. EXTREMELY professional and thorough. Recommend highly.

We were at our property getting work done and Andrews was out cutting a neighbors tree earlier in the summer. We had some trees that needed cutting down and trimming and he agreed to do the work for us that day. Then a month or so later we had some more work to do and we called Andrews. He agreed to get out and do the work. Andrews is very responsive and knowledgeable. Since we don't live there, the second time we called because we had one small tree fall and were concerned about a couple others. We relied on him to tell us if we needed to cut the trees down or if they were ok. He told us one was dead, which we suspected, but the others were OK. I appreciated that he did not push to cut more than necessary. He was knowledgeable, easy to work with, he did the work, and left it cleared and clean. I would definitely recommend Blue Sky.

Blue Sky did a great job. I was very impressed at the beginning in how Andrews assessed the need for pruning and tree removal, giving us several options, and actually letting us know when some things were really not necessary. We received other bids, and he was in the ballpark with those other bids, but I had a really good feeling about him. As it turned out, my intuition was on the mark. He is really a guy filled with integrity. After the first job was completed, we put the second on hold, waiting for fall. When the time came, our financial situation had changed and we needed to reduce the scope of the original work request to fit what we could afford. He was very easy to work with. He worked within our revised budget, completed the job on time, and his team cleaned up the yard after the job. He is on my "A" list for future work.

We were previously scheduled for a later time but I had told Andrews (the owner) if he had a cancellation or an earlier day become available that I was very flexible and would try to accommondate. This is what happened and they came about one month earlier than expected which suited us just fine. They were all very professional and went to work right away. You would hardly know they had been there. All limbs and logs were recoved and stumps ground. I would not hesitate to contract with Blue Sky again and was extremely pleased with the work they performed.

I chose Blue Sky Tree Care because they had the most reviews in this category and were far and away the highest rated tree removal company in the Columbia SC area. The owner, Andrews McAngus, came by in the middle of March and gave us a free estimate. The price was very reasonable for the extensive nature of the work we needed done. He said they would be back the first week in April and would call a day or two before coming. They were true to their word, and came by with a crew of 3 when they said they would. They got the job done quickly and very professionally and took all tree parts away. The removed trees were removed so completely that you couldn't see they were ever there. The pruned trees looked great when they were done. The cleanup was complete, and there was no trace left that Blue Sky Tree Care had ever come by. They even took the extra step to blow away all the remaining pine straw that had built up on the backyard deck. For anyone who needs tree work done in the Columbia SC area. Blue Sky Tree Care is the company to call. I wouldn't waste my time or money with anyone else.

They were excellent. He gets a rave review. They out did themselves with the trees in our yard. Our trees were not touched in 25 years. They did a marvelous job. They cut maybe ten trees. There prices are very affordable. He was here when he said he would be here. They cleaned uo when they were done.

The men arrived exactly when I was told to expect them. They all introduced themselves and we talked about the work some. They worked approximately 9 hours, took down the three trees and cleaned up beautifully. They were polite, friendly and professional. I recommend Blue Sky Tree Service to anyone who needs trees removed in the Columbia area. I will definitely use Blue Sky Trees again if I ever need more trees removed. Andrews was honest and kind and they all worked very hard.
