Blue Sky Tree Care

We did not hire this company, but they were hired by our neighbors to cut some trees. They parked a big truck across from our driveway, making it difficult to drive in and out. Our driveway is on a hill. When I asked them to move, they would not.

He came out in a timely manner. He sent a quote, I responded and accepted his price and asked for some days we could get the job done, he responded saying he would. He didn't, I contacted him again, and he has refused to answer or follow up. I had been given good reviews of him before I called him out.

Very well! Andrews came out the same day I called to give me an estimate. He understood the process of working through an insurance company, and was able to have crew and trucks on site within 2 days. These guys work together very well, taking time to plan their work first and move safely through the job. They also clean up all debris afterwards I have worked with these guys before and was very impressed the first time. I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work done promptly and professionally.

I have used Blue Sky before. They are my "go to" tree people. We have used them at our home and one of our rentals. They have been professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. They do a fantastic job. Check with them before going with anyone else.

They did an awesome job. They work steadily, bring all the right equipment, and leave the area looking so neat. This is the 3rd time I've used Andrews and his crew, and I've been very pleased each time.

Blue Sky has a good crew. They worked very efficiently and did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. They also took time out of their schedule to do several extra things for me. I would highly recommend these guys. They stay busy so expect 3-4 weeks before they get to your job. Another company gave me a six week wait.

They did exactly what I asked them to do. I was satisfied! Not only that, but it was actually pretty entertaining to watch!

The company owner and his two-man crew arrived on time. They cleaned up as they went, and left the surrounding ground cleaner than it was when they arrived. They encountered a nest of yellow jackets, and one of the guys was stung 3 times. They eliminated the nest for me, and continued as though nothing had happened. These guys are extremely professional and thorough. I will be using them again.......

I set up a time for an estimate and Blue Sky arrived right on time and provided a detailed estimate in writing to my husband. After receiving a few more estimates, we realized that Blue Sky offered the most reasonable price and had good reviews, so we went ahead and booked the service. Blue Sky performed all of the work during one day. The yard looks fantastic and the work was very neatly done. You can hardly tell that the birch trees were ever there.

Blue Sky was great. We called on them several years ago, thinking the tree might need to be removed. When he realized we loved it, he said a trimming would minimize the risk of falling limbs, thereby lowering his fee considerably. When the tree died suddenly and thoroughly, we called again. He fit us into his schedule as quickly as possible, was neat, thorough, and precise--removed a very large tree from a very tricky spot without damaging either of the houses over which it hung. Debris was removed and the stump was ground. He will always be the first arborist/tree manager we call.

I wish I could give this company an A+++ because they not only performed the work we agreed upon, but did so efficiently, checking in periodically to make sure their work met our expectations--in fact, they exceeded them--and I'm picky about our trees and the people we hire to do work at our home. Andrews is a tree expert--seriously, we interviewed three companies to test the waters and Andrews is extremely knowledgeable about trees and how to protect and when to cut/not to cut for the highest good and health of the tree. So easy to work with and such a kind and calm person. An outstanding, positive experience working with Blue Sky and we highly recommend them and will hire them again when needed. Fair, honest, clean up was outstanding, all at a reasonable price.

Very likable fellow who was extremely knowledgeable and efficient as well as skilled with his labor. He kept to his clean up promises. We were first impressed with his quick response to giving us a bid. He responded as well when we had decided to have Blue Sky do our work. He came when he said and when we had to have a minor delay on an extremely rainy day he called us to give plenty of warning. We were also pleased the way he used logs from one tree to buffer the fall of others thus preventing gouging up our front lawn.

Andrews took the time to discuss with us what he recommended and listened carefully to what we were hoping to see. He checked in in stages to be sure we were happy with the plan and progress. They were careful and left the back yard perfectly clean. All removed material was hauled away. We are delighted with the appearance of the trees!

I was pleased with Andrews' responsiveness and willingness to work me in. I know this was not his largest job, but he still got to it reasonably quickly and I was pleased with the results.

Andrews and his crew arrived on time, went straight to work, only took a break at lunchtime. He even did a couple of extra things for me at a reasonable cost that I hadn't thought of until he arrived. They were completely professional and left my yard clean of all debris.

This is the second time we have used Blue Sky for tree removal on our property. Again, it was an exceptional experience! All trees were located in the back yard, with limited access for heavy equipment. We also have an in ground pool and large shed in back yard that further limited operations. Blue Sky was able to complete all work without causing any collateral damage - and HAND carted all debris out of the back yard. Clean up of all debris was accomplished - leaving all areas clean. Highly recommend Blue Sky for any tree work you need performed!

After contacting the company via Angies List, set up appointment for an estimate. After getting a few estimates decided to go with Blue Sky based on professionalism, knowledge, and price. The crew came out on scheduled date that was confirmed the day before. They worked efficiently and cleaned up all debris from the trees. I can't say enough good things about this company very pleased with the work.

Showed up on time and finished well before days end. When they were done it didn't look like there were ever any tress there.

Andrews an his crew were great to deal with. He did what he said he would, for the price he estimated. Showed up on time every time. They were cautious about the other landscaping and neighbors property. When they had to use a neighbors yard to get at a tree, they blew out the property, leaving it looking far better than they found it. Before they left, they blew and cleaned everything. It looked so good it seemed as if my lawn service had just left.

Severe windstorm cracked 80 foot pine tree about four feet from ground causing it to lean precariously against two other pine trees not far from the neighbors fence and swimming pool. On the opposite side, should the tree for some reason have fallen that direction, it could have landed in the street endangering pedestrians or hitting passing vehicles. I previously used the services of Mr. McAngus in November 2012 to remove a couple of pine trees that had the potential to fall and damage the house. Based upon our prior relationship, I called him at 0830 the morning after the windstorm, expecting to wait several days especially since the weekend had arrived. He told me he had a project scheduled but it was cancelled by the customer at 10 PM the night before. Therefore, he could meet me and resolve the issue. He arrived with his crew and several pieces of equipment including a bucket truck at 0930 and was finished by 1030. The service went smoothly, complete clean up was done and were it not for the stump cut off at ground level, one would never know the tree had been there nor was there much evidence they had been onsite. This guy is conversant, knowledgeable and customer oriented. We highly recommend him for this line of work and periphery issues. Thank you and your crew, Mr. McAngus.

I contacted Andrews to get a quote, along with a number of other tree service providers. He got back to me, and I was pleased with the quote. He ended up being about 2K lower than the highest!! Yesterday the crew came out, on time, and removed 5 large oak trees. This was no easy job - the trees were all leaning either over the house, or over the power lines, garden areas, etc. I must say each and every worker was very well mannered, professional, and hard workers! My husband oversaw the entire project and was very impressed. The trees were all removed in one day, all debris cleaned up, and we could not be more pleased with the results. Would I use him again? In a heartbeat!! In fact, recommending Andrews and Blue Sky to my sister and her husband for their 2 trouble trees today! :) Thank you Andrews for a job very well done.

Prompt response. Just too much cost for what I needed. Glad they let me know they had a minimum charge before we all wasted time and they came out to see the job. That would have been embarrasing.

We've used them a couple of times and we are still real happy with them. They are great. It is good for several years because they raised the canopy for several large trees away from the roof. They are a great service. They come when they say they will come. They do very good work and they clean up. They are very good.

Alan and crew arrived at the scheduled time and immediately began work. All were professional in their bearing and on site work performance. Blue Sky is truly representative of a well run company, their employees take pride in their work and deliver a superior service. I would not hesitate to provide a referral for this company and will certainly use them again if needed.
