He could not fix it. Said that the parts might come out costlier than the purchase of new machines. It was waste of money.

Turned out that repair would cost more than it fridge was worth. Although tech could have tried to make money, he suggested us buying a new fridge instead and gave us all the reasons why. Really appreciate the technicians honesty, and willingness to answer questions. Would highly recommend Sloan Appliance!!!

We thought our dishwasher failing to work properly was the fault of the dishwasher, but Shawn quickly determined the cause was sediment in the inlet valve and water line. We just had a slab leak repaired so this made sense. He cleaned the valve and line out and it is working great! He was friendly and I’d call on him again.

Things went great. Problem was identified and fixed.

Technician arrived on time. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and gave choices as to repair the old unit or replace it. Since the machine was rather dated, we chose to get a new washer. We thought the tech was honest and would will use this company again for other appliance repair work.

The lady who took my original call asked me if my vent was clear for my Maytag dryer and I “assumed” my attempt to blow out the debris had worked. I was wrong! She tried! Thank you for only service call and coming earlier than planned. Shawn was great!

I have used Sloan for a couple of years now and they have never disappointed me. They've fixed my built-in refrigerator and ice maker and always do a great job. Fair, prompt and professional.

Scheduling was easy, repair tech called prior to coming, he was very knowledgeable, kind and was able to make the repair in a short time. He was very detailed and that is appreciated.

Dryer would not start. Repairman had part on truck and had me up and running in less than 45 minutes. On time and a very nice ambassador for his company.

Javin, the technician, was remarkable. He called about half an hour before he arrive. He was very professional and courteous. Could not have asked for any more.

As always, the entire experience was great and we would not think of contacting anyone else! Due to stories we have have heard from our friend's past experiences with other appliance repair companies, finding a great business like Sloan Appliance is a blessing. The office staff was professional and worked with us to accommodate our schedule. The technician was punctual, friendly, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. The repair did not take long at all and was very reasonably priced. They have continued to impress us each time we have an issue with one of our appliances and we would not think of using or recommending any other appliance repair company besides Sloan Appliance. Do not use Sloan, unless you want to pay a lot for a little. This company should have a huge bottom-line because they are ripping off their customers. I diagnosed the issue (valve replacement) before they even came out, provided my model and serial number of my unit and the technicians still did not have the valve when they arrived. Therefore, they had to come back at a later date, which was a hassle. Sloan charged me $97 dollars for a valve I found online afterwards using the model number for $55. They then charged me a service fee of $89 for the diagnostics, which I essentially did before they came and $100 additional labor on top of that. The job took 5-10 minutes and I watched them do it. All it took was unhooking a hose from the old valve and hooking it up the new valve. I even called and tried to talk to one of their supervisors and he got my complaint all wrong and finally called me back and tried to get the technicians on the phone. My complaint wasn't about the technicians, it was about the ridiculous pricing. This company will rip you off, don't use them.

It was great! I messaged through Angie’s List on a Sunday evening. The owner Fred called me Monday morning. He was able to get a technician to me that day. He called and confirmed arrival time. Frank, the technician, was so professional. He was prepared with all the tools and parts. He had genuine Electrolux parts for the repair, which is important to me. He provided a price before he did the work and cleaned up when finished. I would definitely recommend Sloan and would definitely call them the next time I need a repair.

The repairman was professional and friendly. I was told he would arrive between 2 - 4pm. He called at 2, when leaving his previous appointment and he arrived within 20 minutes. Very prompt. He figured out the problem and had the replacement fuse with him and was on his way.

Finding a Maytag repair man is very difficult. They came back to put the computer board in and that was not the problem so they had to order another one; there is one on top and one on bottom. The guy was very professional, very knowledgeable and they did a really good job. I did not like how much it cost and how long it took but you can not help parts that are not in. The person who did the work was very professional, friendly and a good guy. I never felt uncomfortable, very professional. His name was Daryl, he was great. It would have been nice to been done in a week, not three weeks. It was a little expensive. It is working great now.
