Description of Work: Had annual maintenance agreement along with 10 year parts and labor warranty. Broom installed the 2 HVAC systems for previous home owner. warranty transferred to me. Numerous mistakes were made in the original installation by Broom and over the years they were mostly corrected. Sloppy ductwork remains. It seems that all the good technicians at Broom left an were replaced by trainees, nice people, but needed a lot of training. Every time they did a service call I complained about the illegal wiring connection put in by Broome which had copper wires connected to aluminum by wirenuts and not even enclosed. Many of the technician did not understand. The owner failed to acknowledge or call back. | |Finally, in the last year of the warranty, near the end, Broom had rebuild its technical staff and the techs are as good as any. When I pointed out the illegal wiring, they corrected it with proper connectors and enclosure and it was up to code. | |I am now deciding who I will use for my servicing. My review ratings are based on the performance of the new technicians. I may go with Broom or my old, very relaiable provider, Tri City. I used TriCity at a second home for over 30 years and service was excellent and technicians average 20 years or more experience.

Description of Work: Performed the semi-annual maintenance check. I've been a customer of Broom Heating and Air since 1983-84. They installed the H/AC units in my first home in the '80s and also when I built a second home in 2001-02. I have great trust in the company and in their office staff and technicians. Wouldn't use any other company.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie coupon for HVAC system check. The system was not running. They checked it and provided an estimate to repair. It was a reasonable estimate but just higher than the one that performed the repair. |They were courteous and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs HVAC work.

Description of Work: A/C stopped working properly. The first service visit didn't solve the problem. They returned several times, once in the evening, until the A/C was working properly again at no additional cost. My husband and I had Broom Heating and Air install the units in the home we built in 1984. After his death, when I built a new home they installed the heating air units in it. I wouldn't use any other heating and air company.
