Chris was very nice and knowledgeable. He did run a couple of minutes late because he went to the wrong neighborhood....not a big deal though....at least he was honest about it. My parents use this company for their heating and air needs and I have referred them to a friend.

The technician was very polite, very neat, and seemed very knowledgeable. While he was there, I asked a question about another heating system, and he took the time to listen and discuss that as well.

The long-term service contract was with my elderly mother, now in a nursing home. I recall that because they knew she was elderly they always put her at the top of their service repair list. We had very good experiences with Broome Heating & Air.

They are reasonably priced and the guys who come out are always very professional and courteous. I have never had a problem with them not being timely.

I like their service. We first called them when we came back home after a week or two and found our heating system had broken down and the temperature was in the 20s outside. They came the next day and set up to install a new system the day after that. We have been very pleased with the system and have had virtually no trouble with it.

They were excellent. They explained what was to be done and gave us the cost before anything was done.. They arrived on time and finished earlier than they had said,. All of the employees were friendly and polite, even the ones that had to crawl under the house. They were very respectful of you things and were careful not to damage anything and cleaned up so well you could not they had been here. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. I would also definitely use them again.

We have always used them. We've been doing business with them since about 1996. When other guys can't fix it, we call and ask Dusty to come out. He is the owner and is very knowledgeable. We get their service plan every year, so they come out in the spring and fall.

They always perform exactly like we want them to. We would not hesitate to use them again. They are easy to reach and are prompt.

I have used Broom for years for maintenance of our ac unit with no problems. Sam and Daniel are our technicians and they always do a wonderful job! The Broom staff are always on time, reasonably priced and are an HONEST group of people. Recently, we made the investment for a new AC Unit and it has made a huge difference in the comfortablility of our home. MartyJewell, Broom's Comfort Specialist, did a fabulous job of coming out to explain the unit that would best meet our needs. He was very professional and thorough about walking me through all of our options, and there were a lot. In the end, he helped me chose the one that would work most efficiently and we could afford. This was refreshing because other companies I requested quotes from weren't quite as knowledgeable and I felt like they didn't want to take the time to explain their units. Also, after requesting quotes from several competitors Broom was the most cost-competitive. This was a much easier process than I had anticipated, as they had our heat running after only an afternoon and they cleaned up any mess that was made. I wish I would have had our unit replaced a long time ago! This is a wonderful team of people whom I would highly recommend to anyone!

The technician from Broom called our house (as instructed) to let my wife know he was on the way to my mother-in-law's house and arrived on time. He was very professional and thorough. He let my wife and mother-in-law know what he was doing every step of the way. When finished he recommended we have the gas logs checked at least once a year. We were extremely pleased with Broom and plan to use them again!

Although, I was very worried about the process, Marty Jewell, of Broom H & A, explained the details of the entire job. Throughout the job, Marty was on time, professional, and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. The installation team performed an excellent job, and was mindful of the cleanup. I was worried about switching out an AC unit during the month of August, but Broom H & A installed a temporary, portable AC unit for the duration of the project. Additional sheet rock repair was needed for the return in the house, but Marty's team followed through and completed the unscheduled work. Overall, I am very satisfied with the unit and my monthly electric bills have dropped significantly.

When you call them they will come. They show up on time. I would recommend them to others. If there are any problems they will fix it. Everybody in my family uses them as well.

We don’t use them anymore because a good friend of ours owns his own heating and A/C company now. They are local and dependable. Their prices were reasonable when we used them.

They did a good job. They did the normal spring and fall maintenance for us. The technician that they sent out was very nice and knowledgeable about what he was doing. They did an efficient and thorough job in what they did. The were very prompt and responded quickly.

This went fine. Tehy showed up on tme and did what was promised. We received a good value. i went over the different types of units with them to find the one that best fit my need. They cleaned up well after the work was done.

Terrible dishonest service. They incorrectly installed the direct vent furnace without connecting the direct vent furnace air intake. I had specifically told the salesman that I wanted this crawlspace furnace to be sealed combustion to reduce carbon monoxide hazards and increase efficiency. Without the air intake the furnace then operates as a much less efficient, and less expensive, standard open combustion furnace that draws combustion air from the crawlspace, decreasing efficiency. I think they just wanted to save the cost of 10 feet of 4" PCV pipe. When I called the owner he said that he had installed 50 Infinity Furnaces the same way and had no complaints. Most consumers would not know this installation was incorrect. They would just wonder why the system is not more efficient. They finally installed it correctly. They also incorrectly diverted the condensate drain into the basement sump and disabled the sump pump power source. This caused the crawlspace to flood. When I called they sent a technician who inspected the sump pump, said it was working, and quickly left. It was not working when I rechecked it.

Company showed up earlier than the scheduled times although he had to wait 15-20 minutes because another company was here doing an inspection. Technician waited patiently. I proceeded to explain what I need and he went to work. After his inspection, he came in and quote a price to fix the problem. He didn't explain anything. I assume he figured the last guy did. I told him I would think it over and contact the company of choice later.

Overall, we are done with Broome. Totally inept, rude, and non-caring. It is the worst experience we have every had with a service. We called Carrier to express our unhappiness. They, too, could have cared less. 4

Our split system, A/C unit outdoors and our heating system, gas furnace in the attic, was in need of replacing. It was installed in 1989 and was not producing the temperatures anymore that we needed, specifically cooling the house in the hot summers of South Carolina. We decided it was time to begin the assignment of replacing the entire "split system" and began reviewing contractors through Angies List. Three different companies made their presentations and all were in the same ball park for the "total price." We chose Broom Heatiing and Air based on previous experience with their installations, they installed a complete system in our other home, and they had the best price overall for us and were able to offer 36 months 0% interest financing. The Broom "Comfort Specialist" Greg, was punctual in keeping his first appointment when we began reviewing our needs and his plans for our system switchout as well as the second appointment when we decided on Broom Heating and Air so that we could sign the paperwork. He answered all my questions at the time and was available by phone for other questions I had as well. The day of the installation the crew of two were punctual and arrived as planned. Both were professional and courteous as they went about their work. While doing so they kept us informed of what they were doing and the progress they were making. The removal of the old system and installatioin of the new was completed in a day and one half. The installation crew cleaned their work area and you would not know anything or anyone had been working. Again it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish and very professional.
