We called and scheduled cleaning and stain treatment for 7 rooms. We were offered deodorizing as well for an additional $280.00 and declined due to the cost and our budget. Neither my wife nor I could be there so we had a relative let them into the house to perform the service. The technicians offered the deodorizing to our relative and did not explain the extra cost associated with that until the service was provided so naturally he accepted thinking it was covered. At no time did the company obtain mine or my wife’s authorization to change the purchase order as they are required, by consumer protection laws, to verify with the cardholders and change to the purchase. At the end of the service the technicians tendered the updated purchase receipt now explaining the additional $280.00 to our relative. We told the national call center that there would be a representative at the house as neither of us could be there and that we did not want deodorizing treatment as it was too expensive and the steam cleaning should remove odors anyway. The regional manager blames the national call center for not informing them and says that that is why he will not refund the fee for the service that we never purchased but they charged us for. I fail to see how a lack of communications on their part should be taken out on my wallet. They are a dishonest organization who do not abide by consumer protection laws. I now have to waste my time in court if I want my money back. Use a locally run business and avoid corporate crooks. In all fairness, The rugs did come out nice from the cleaning and most stains were able to be removed. the deodorizer smells horrible, like constant chemical smell and wont go away.

They arrived on time, a bit early actually, and cleaned the carpet in about 20 minutes. That included set up and putting thingys under the feet of furniture. When they told me they were finished I told them that they didn't remove spots, that the cleaners removed last year when I had it cleaned. I was told that they had applied spot remover, and the spots didn't come out. The spots didn't come out because they barely cleaned, doing the whole room and hall in 20 minutes, using no elbow grease. I paid extra for protection on the carpet, which was a waste because it just protected the dirty carpet. I called the national number, because I couldn't get the local number, and was told the local manager would call me. They don't give out the local phone number. Nobody ever called. When I had the same areas cleaned last year the team that came out did an excellent job, but this year I had 2 guys who had no intention of working. I paid $114 for nothing, and got no response from the company when I tried to complain.

I chose this company because of their solid reputation. I have used this company before. I am familiar with the quality of work and would get my moneys' worth. Any extras are expensive and the price is prohibitive. The men that they sent were pleasant and professional.

They moved the sofa a little and some smaller pieces of furniture, but most of the furniture remained in place (too big; nowhere to move it). They vacuumed and spot-treated before shampooing, but were unable to get out all the stains. They tried, though. The high-traffic areas looked cleaner when they were wet than after they had dried. I was disappointed about that. We also paid extra for the "protect" option, but that left the carpets slightly sticky, and I kind of wish we had skipped that.

Staff was fine. Process left my carpets soaked. Special (extra cost) treatment did not help protect the clean carpet. Will not use them again.

They didn't move the furniture like they usually do, and the stains didn't come out as well. I left after I paid them, and they left a wet clump of debris from the carpet on my front yard because they had unloaded their tank there. I used their services before, and I really liked them, but this time it was not as favorable.

Stanley Steemer did an alright job on our carpets. The workers were pleasant enough, but the carpets, I felt, were left too damp and took quite a long time to dry compared to other companies I have used. Their prices were fair for the work and the carpets were clean once they finally dried but I don't think I would use them again.

The two man crew arrived on time and was courteous and helpful. They took care of all the furniture moving and the carpets were nicely cleaned. I had been referred to them by friends and will continue to pass on the word.

THEY COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. SOME OF THE STAINS THEY LEFT WERE NOTICEABLE AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT ANYWAY. THEY WORKED A LITTLE TOO QUICKLY. THE ONLY REASON I WOULD THINK ABOUT HIRING THEM AGAIN IS BECAUSE THEY ARE A LOCAL COMPANY.

THEY WERE VERY NEAT ABOUT THE JOB. THEY WERE ON TIME TO DO THE JOB. THEY DID THE JOB IN THREE HOURS. THEY DID THE JOB THE SAME WAY THEY, SAID THEY WOULD DO IT.

IF THEY WERE GOING TO BE LATE THEY CALLED AHEAD. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND NEAT IN THEIR WORK ETHICS. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEM. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT.

THEY MOVED ALL MY FURNITURE AND MOVED IT BACK. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE ON TIME AND THEY FINISHED IN A COUPLE OF HOURS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL TOO.

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT WE CLEANED THIS LOCATION. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY MOVED THE FURNITURE. ALL OF THE STAINS WERE LIFTED. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM TAKE MORE TIME. ONE GENTLEMAN WAS SUPERB BUT THE OTHER ONE WAS IN A RUSH. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN, ONLY IF I GOT THE ONE YOUNG GENTLEMAN NOT IN A RUSH. I ALSO THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE A BIT PRICEY.

THE COMPANY CLEANED OUR CARPETS EFFICIENTLY. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AND THEY WERE ABLE TO LIFT OLD STAINS THAT HAD NEVER COME OUT BEFORE. I WAS GLAD THAT THE CARPET DRIED QUICKLY, TOO.

I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THE JOB THAT THEY DID THIS LAST TIME THAT THEY CAME TO MY HOME THAT I AM GOING TO HIRE THEM AGAIN THIS SUMMER. THEY REMOVED ALL THE STAINS THAT WERE IN MY CARPET. THEY DO GREAT WORK.

THEY COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB AND SPENT MORE TIME ON THE CARPET. I AM MORE INTERESTED IN THE RESULTS THAN THE PRICE, BUT THEY DIDN'T DO AN EXCELLENT JOB SO I DIDN'T LIKE TO PAY A LOT FOR IT.

OVERALL, I WAS PLEASED BUT I'M NOT SURE IF I AM GOING TO CALL THEM BACK BECAUSE OF THE PRICE. THEY SEEM TO GET YOU FOR MORE THAN THEY ORIGINALLY QUOTE YOU FOR ON THE PHONE.

THEY WERE EFFICIENT AND QUICK, BUT I WAS NOT THRILLED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE JOB. I THOUGHT MY FURNITURE SHOULD LOOK A LOT CLEANER THAN IT DID. MAYBE THEY TRIED TO RUSH EVERYTHING, I DON'T KNOW. I JUST THINK I COULD FIND SOMEONE BETTER.

THEY WERE WONDERFUL. THEY WENT BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. THEY WERE ALSO PERFECTIONISTS. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THEM. THEY WERE ALSO VERY RESPECTFUL.

THE SERVICE FROM STANLEY STEEMER WAS VERY GOOD. I REALLY LIKE THE CARPET AFTER THEY CLEANED IT BECAUSE THEY DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THEY DID.

WE HAVE PETS AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO AVOID GETTING STAINS ON THE FURNITURE. THIS COMPANY IS ABLE TO DEAL WITH ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS AND IS VERY AFFORDABLE.

IT SEEMED LIKE THE CARPETS STILL LOOKED DINGY. THEY CHARGED A LOT OF MONEY. IT SEEMED LIKE THEY REALLY DIDN'T DO THAT MUCH. I CALLED TO COMPLAIN, BUT THEY SAID IT WASN'T THEIR PROBLEM.

THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED FOR STANLY STEEMER WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY GOT THE WORK DONE VERY FAST. WE HAD SOME PROBLEMS BECAUSE THE CARPET DID NOT STAY AS CLEAN AS IT SHOULD HAVE.

I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THE JOB THEY DID. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, BUT THEY QUALITY OF THEIR WORK NEEDED IMPROVEMENT. THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
