RI Design Build remodeled our kitchen and half bathroom in 2015, so we weren't surprised that the latest work went very well. RI Design Build acted as contractor for the air-conditioning, closet, and basement projects. In addition Rob worked closely with our designer to order materials for the bathrooms, and we expect work to begin soon on those bathrooms and on the final phases of the closet. During the gutting and painting of the basement Rob and Dan were as always dependable and very accommodating. They went out of their way to lessen the disruption. In fact, Dan didn't mind moving boxes from one section of the basement to another as he went along. That's really above and beyond what we would expect. When the air-conditioner installers arrived, they found the prep work to be perfect, and during the installation Rob came by to check that everything was progressing smoothly. It's also important to note that Rob has always communicated with us very effectively and consistently. RI Design Build is highly professional, and we look forward to the completion of our projects.

It had it's moments. We ended up with a multitude of unforeseen problems. Two ceilings, double walls, asbestos floor tiles. We needed all new plumbing and electrical. They took care of all the problems. They were here every day. On time. They punctual and professional. They did a great job and I would not hesitate in hiring them again, or referring them to friends or family. I am attaching photos of the before and after. The design was the work of Rob Pearson, the owner of the company. He listened to our concerns and wishes. He worked tirelessly on the design. My husband is handicapped and we needed certain provisions for him. Rob met all our requirements and more. He is very easy to work with and took on our project as if it were his own.

After all the surprises we found when the demolition started, it all went well. Rob is detail orented and spot on. He has also gone above the remodel. We had an issue with frozen water pipes with our new laundry room. He was here imediately after I called him. He corrected the problem quickly. I would recommend him highly and will hire him again when we do our bathroom on the second floor.

Rob called me back in a very timely manner and I told him my proposed idea for renovating a small commercial space. I wanted a very rough estimate for planning purposes and given the very limited info I was able to provide (since I don't have the space yet), he provided me an estimate that I can use for planning purposes. I'm so impressed that he took the time to think through my questions and provide an estimate of a site unseen! Will definitely call him back once my business planning gets underway!

Rob replaced 5 sliding glass doors in my sunroom that were in need of repair. He helped me choose the best quality slider that was within my budget. The job came out fantastic and was on budget. This was the third project I used RI Design and been more than satisfied.

I was kind of disappointed. I just got a generic plan. It was not what I expected. It was much more of a sales type thing than really providing me with what I was looking for. It took them a month to get me what they agreed to provide. I was looking for bathroom design and they just gave me some very generic designs. I paid for an additional design. I asked for it and there was no trickery in that element. They were slow in delivering. They got me something that was pretty generic. I could have almost done it myself. They have to give the customers something valuable in a reasonable amount of time.

Rob Pearson did an excellent job. He was quick, professional and respectful. He provided us with an estimate for his work and offered no pressure to use him for the job.

Not well with them in particular they just didn't offer the service that I wanted which was not a total kitchen remodel but just a counter top and maybe a painting so I think he felt it was not a big enough job that's the impression I got ,so he did bring samples and he really listened to what I wanted in terms of sample and then he didn't pick them up we didn't arrange for him to pick them up so I still have sample. Probably we need to have a conversation about what his services entails it was much more expensive that I wanted to do.

We are very pleased with how the job came out. Bathroom looks great. The attention to detail and quality is top notch. Several examples throughout the project where RIDB was mindful of what we were looking for. Best example was while laying the floor tiles that we had selected, and some of the tiles in the box just weren't right for the look we were going for. They stopped the install, sent pictures so we could decide, and ultimately got more tiles to avoid the ones we didn't like. This slowed them down but was the right answer. Good communication throughout. This wasn't the cheapest bid that we received but the quality was worth it.

Fantastic! Rob and his crew did an amazing job. Every issue that arose was handled with our input and concerns in mind. The outcome was stunning. He completed the job in the timeline quoted and was so easy to work with. We love it and everyone who sees it compliments us on the finished product, even people who had not seen the kitchen prior to renovations. I would use this company for all future jobs!

He had some wonderful ideas and designs. We would definitely contact him again.

While we are still in the process of the renovation I felt compelled to write about my experiences with Rob. His ideas were fantastic and he kept us and the way we use our kitchen in mind at every decision. While we are still at the start of our major project, the experience so far has been fantastic. He promised us a complete design, agreed to all of the changes we made and delivered our plans earlier than promised. Cant wait for the finished product.

I met with several contractors for this renovation before picking Rob Pearson's company.RI Design Build, Inc. Very upfront and honest with how long it would take and what a realistic start date would be. Proposed contract was professional, detailed and presented in person so we could review step by step each piece of the project. All my questions and hesitations were addressed up front leaving no room for interpretation or gray area. He respected my budget and presented all options and detailed costs if I wanted to adjust anything during the project. We installed: New floor tile, vanity, sinks, granite counter tops, hardware, HUGE tiled shower enclosed in frame less glass enclosure, rain head shower from the ceiling ect. Every renovation or project encounters unexpected hurdles or speed bumps, what I LOVED about Rob is that he would call you every time a decision needed to be made about something that would affect the project "before" he would move forward. He would explain the problem, give a few suggestions and ideas to work around it and detail any possible added costs involved. Again very communicative during the entire process. Extremely responsive! At one point during the process I just said "you make the call, you are the professional and I very much trust your judgment to make it look wonderful". That is how much trust I had in the company, they proved themselves within the first few days so I really did not worry at all about what the finished product would like. We have completed the project, it looks amazing, it's exactly what I had envisioned from the beginning, we are extremely happy. I have found a contractor for all my future projects no doubt. It's a good feeling when you know you picked the right company for such a big investment and you feel very confident about all your future projects knowing such a skilled and competent group will execute your vision. I have two projects I am excited to have them do later in the year.

I must say that working with Rob so far has been a great experience. He even went above when we were having issues of water in the basement. My husband contacted a company he found on line to come and access the problem. When I mentioned this to Rob, he sent someone he knows over to check out the problem. The company my husband found wanted us to spend about $4,000. to correct the problem. The person Rob sent didn't find any mold or evidence that the water was coming up from the basement floor. Rob asked if we had underground downspouts. That reminded me that we had new gutters and downspouts installed the summer before. Two of the downspouts were sent in the ground. I called that company and they came over the next day and corrected the problem at no cost to me. Thank you Rob for going of your way for us. I am looking forward to starting this project, which should be in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for updates.

I emailed provider for a kitchen remodel project. He called me and scheduled an appointment, however he did not show up or call.

I expressed to Rob my frustration with having a small kitchen and limited cabinet space. He immediately shared a plan which he had designed for a customer with similar kitchen dimensions ........ I am very excited to view this plan specific to my existing space. Rob also provided a plan which could give me an island work station; something I have always wanted! Rob was professional and personable and I feel he would be a good person to work with as I move forward to complete my kitchen remodel.

Good. At this time we are holding off on the renovation.

My experience with them was good. He was good, but I didn't like the design terribly much. It just didn't fit my style, but his work is fine.

We are in the very final stages of completing a major kitchen renovation with the RI Design Build Inc. team. The project included a conversion to “open concept” by removing and or adjusting 4 walls, adding new cabinets, quartz counter tops, a two tier L shaped island, replacing tile with hardwood floors, a new back facing window (decided upon late in the project), a new back door and all new appliances. The construction team led by Rich was top notch. Rich is a true discerning professional who makes it his mission to ensure the work is done right. He not only closely monitors his own work but also helps to ensure the contracted painting, electrical and plumbing work is also of high quality. Rob manages the project, handles and consults on design changes and change orders, schedules the timing of cabinets, counters, appliances and contracts and schedules the wall, painting, plumbing, electrical and hardwood work. Rob is excellent to work with. We have done various improvement projects to the house over the years and Rob is the best GC in our experience. I felt Rob was a good source of advice and quickly and fairly addressed any issues we had during the project. We did have some scheduling surprises that had us taking unexpectedly quick actions, but in the end everything came together and worked out great. We (and all who see the new kitchen for the first time) are very satisfied with the results.

Ri Design Build remodeled our kitchen, which involved removing a wall to open the kitchen up between two rooms in our house. All cabinets and countertops were replaced and reconfigured, and wallpaper removal and painting were also performed. We were extremely pleased with the outcome of the remodel- everything came out as we had hoped it would and the job was completed quickly, in about 4 weeks. With this being our first major remodel we did not know what to expect, so had many questions that Rob and his team were quick to respond to. We would definitely use RI Design Build in the future for any additional work in our house and highly recommend them.

RI Design Build took on an enormous project with our kitchen. We totally remodeled--new walls, wall removal, new sub-floor, cabinets, quartzite countertops, tile backsplash--the works. Although not even 30 years old, our house presented problems: the ceiling and floor were wavy, for instance. Basically our original contractors were the guys that couldn?t build straight. When RI Design Build came on the scene, we got to see how true professionals operate. Rob, Rich, and Dan were meticulous, patient, and imaginative problem solvers. It?s not every day that we feel as though a perfectionist is working in our interest. Rich really did, though, and we?re grateful. We also appreciated that Rob went out of his way to keep us fully informed about issues, options, and progress. Everyone that he brought into our home--painters, plumber, electrician--was pleasant, courteous, and highly competent. We are thrilled with our new kitchen. It?s functional and beautiful. A recent visitor called it ?stunning.? We told Rob at the outset that when we are ready to sell our home a potential buyer should walk in and say, ?I want that kitchen.? Because of the talent and professionalism of RI Design Build I think that?s exactly what will happen.

Very professional and informative. Would certainly use for the actual remodel, but the cost was a bit more then we were ready to handle at the time. We still have the plans he created and will call him back when the time is financially right for us to complete the work.

I met with them a couple of times but we're a long way away from a finished product. It's been a month and a half and I've gotten just two drawings so far. He subcontracts the work for the design out. I've met with the designer once and we emailed a few times. I'm still in discussions with the designer. He said he's going to be sending me more drawings this weekend. I think we two months or so before we finish with the design, and then RI Design Build Inc. will be back to bid on the actual remodeling. It's been good but it's a very slow process. The price is terrific. Update: October 26, 2015 Design process continuing. Very good, cordial and helpful communication with Rob of RI Design Build. Anticipate productive, cost effective follow-through throughout the project.
