Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a customized quote for a kitchen remodel. The rep came, talked to me about what I'd like to improve and provided me with design options (floor plan, cabinet types, layout, etc.) and quotes. It was very helpful and well done. I wasn't quite ready to 'take the plunge' in terms of remodel and budget, but it was truly helpful for me to plan and consider my options. Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: This was the first time I purchased an Angie's List deal -- it was for evaluation and plans for a kitchen renovation. In the end I did not go forward with the renovation, because more pressing issues had to be addressed in the house, after my hot water heater let go. But I was very impressed with Rob's careful work and final plans. He came in a second time to verify his measurements, because he second-guessed himself when he got back to his shop -- all because of my small kitchen's non-standard measurements. He was always punctual (called if a few minutes late) and was responsive to my ideas and questions. In short, I was very pleased with my first Angie's List deal.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angies List Deal for a kitchen design and consult. The designer didn't quite get what we wanted in the space, so we didn't end up using them. They were nice people, but ended up with another designer and contractor that really understood our needs.

Description of Work: We bought the kitchen design special and everything went well. He was punctual, professional, and respectful. He had some new ideas to make better use of our small and outdated kitchen. Received an estimate for new cabinets, countertop, and floors and can hopefully budget to get it done!

Description of Work: Rob came to the house at the appointed time, measured the kitchen, provided good ideas and drew up the proposals. The process went very well as Rob provided a good design with problem solving solutions for our kitchen. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and not at all high pressure. Willingly made changes to the design when I requested further modifications. He was very understanding when I had to delay the project.

Description of Work: Price way too high. Other contractors said 5,000 for the job. his quote was for 18,000 and half the size for a deck. Couldn't believe it when he said the amount. Would not recommend this contractor to any friends or family.

Description of Work: Their representative came by and we talked about possible designs and costs for remodeling the bathroom. We asked to see samples of his company's completed projects but he only had photos on a cell phone. He returned with plans and a cost assessment but we found another designer that offered comparable service at a lower cost.

Description of Work: I consulted with Rob about a potential bath remodel. He responded in a timely manner and answered all of my questions in a knowledgeable manner. I decided to hold off on any work.

Description of Work: This was our first appointment. Mr. Pearson took a great deal of time answering our questions, offering possible solutions and taking measurements. The next time we meet he will deliver a set of drawings and a budget.

Description of Work: It took 4 weeks to get any plans. And when we did get them . They were not at all what we had talked about. And they said they had a computer problem.

Description of Work: RI DESIGN BUILD HAS COMPLETED A NUMBER OF OF HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS INCLUDING : HARDWOOD FLOORS, TILE FLOORING, INSTALLING RADIANT FLOOR HEATING, DESIGNING AND RENOVATING OUR BASEMENT, AND A COMPLETE KITCHEN MAKEOVER. MOST RECENTLY, WE HAD A SERIOUS FLOOD IN OUR FINISHED BASEMENT DUE TO THE HOT WATER HEATER BURSTING. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE HOLIDAY. ROB AND HIS TEAM TOOK CARE OF OUR FLOORING, BASEBOARDS, PAINTING, ... IMMEDIATELY AND WORKED THE WEEKEND AND NIGHTS TO MINIMIZE THE DAMAGE WE INCURRED. WE HAVE THREE MORE EXTENSIVE PROJECTS IN THE FUTURE, AND PLAN TO USE ROB. HE DOES GREAT WORK WITHIN A TIGHT BUDGET. HE IS HONEST, RELIABLE, AND SKILLED.
