Mike and his team were responsive, friendly and were available right away. They prepped, installed the new system and cleared out the old system in 2 days. The work looks great and the heat and hot water are now consistent and reliable. I'd definitely work with them again.
Description of Work: We recently bought an old house and the boilers (formerly a two unit home) as well as the water heater had reached the end of their lives. We'd done a lot of research and were hoping to not have to make a decision right away when the water heater began leaking profusely. We saw the package deal here on Angie's List for "High Efficiency Boiler/On Demand Water Heater Combo Installation" and we decided it was the best fit for our needs.

We called Priority after reading all of the positive reviews and we were happy we did. You can really tell that they take great pride in their work. We called at the end of heating season as our furnace was working but we had no A/C. Mike the owner came right out to give us the estimate. We thought the estimate was very reasonable and hired them the next day. They scheduled us, then the day came they were on time and finished in one day. was a little warm that day and we were relieved to have A/C. Would not hesitate to hire them again, they did everything they said they would. Cleaned up meticulously and the system runs great. Would not hesitate to recommend the to anyone and will definitely call again

Owning several rental properties it is extremely important to me to have a reliable, professional and available plumber. I have tried other plumbers without luck, but after getting a referral from a colleague, I gave Priority a call. I couldn’t be more impressed with the workmanship, promptness and personal service. Mike is great to work with and makes the project stress free on the customer, couldn’t ask for more. I was never overcharge and for my past experience right on the money. I had work that needed to be done on an outdoor shower and faucet, Mike got it fixed and functioning in no time and charged me a very reasonable price. So impressed with the workmanship and turnaround time I called Priority for a remodel, toilet, sink and bathtub. The price I received was right where I needed to be and the work was completed fast and I have not had one problem. Your call is always answered, they are responsive and prices are reasonable. I will continue to use their services and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family.

We have had great experiences with Mike for the many services he's performed for us. He's professional, prompt, has fair pricing, and does very good work. I highly recommend to any of my friends or family who need plumbing or heating/air conditioning work done.
Description of Work: We've hired Mike from Priority Plumbing many times over the years. Since we bought our home in 2012, he has installed a sink garbage disposal; installed a whole house water filter; repaired a water heater (that wasn't installed properly by the previous installer); replaced that water heater when it finally went (which required lots of extra plumbing work--the pipes originally used weren't large enough for our home, they had insulation stuffed down them, it was a mess); replaced one of our air conditioning units when that went; and most recently he upgraded our whole house water filterehen its usable life was up.

My husband called on a Tuesday, and got an appointment for the next day. Clay did the work, and was polite, efficient and cleaned everything up nicely. He even let me know that he had mopped some water up in the basement, and the floor would be wet, but to know that it wasn't that the pipes were leaking. He even fixed a problem with a block in the kitchen faucet that happened when he turned the water back on without charging me! I will most definitely call Priority Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!
Description of Work: Our shower was starting with warm water, then quickly became cool. Every other faucet in the house had hot water. It needed a new mixing valve.

Disastrously poor attention to detail & you are NOT their priority They called the Monday morning before Day 1 (Tuesday) to ask if they could do a walk through at our house later that afternoon to make sure they would have all the materials they needed, but later called to cancel because other things had come up. Work commenced on Day 1, but Priority Plumbing got a call of emergency water main break at an apartment complex, and seemed rushed throughout the day to get to other bigger customer, attempting to hastily finish for the “more important” matter. Priority Plumbing did not appear to keep residential customers as priorities, or worthy of quality. The “new electrical” was wiring to the nearest junction box in the basement, and they suggested we should hire an electrician to run a line directly to the electric panel, but that they could not (would not?) do that. They left the metal flexible conduit from the vent unconnected to the boiler (it should have been attached to the new boiler via the punch hole) so the wires now hang out the side of the boiler toward the conduit. They untidily connected the new thermostat wire to our old knob and tube and left it hanging dangerously close to uninsulated steam pipes. They did not finish in one day, but connected it up to get the new heat going and left to come back the next morning (3 hours, Day 2) to clean up the basement and pipe tools and supplies they had left in our garage. They installed the new thermostat on wrong side of wall, and had to change that the next morning when they returned, as well as relight the pilot and turn on the water heater (we realized they forgot to do that too, after cold showers). They left the 4 cement blocks the old boiler was elevated on in random places in the basement room. They left our empty cardboard Christmas tree box they had moved out of the way, strewn in a different corner with a pair of their dirty latex work gloves left inside. Heat worked, but pipes banged much louder and more violently than with older system (woke us up at night, shook floor, scared cats). Later in the evening of Day 2, we put a load of laundry in the washer. Day 3, we went downstairs to put the load of laundry from the washer to the dryer, but found water ALL OVER the basement floor, the waste hose from the washer had been disconnected from the pipe to the sump pump. Priority Plumbing confirmed they had removed the hose from the pipe in order to use the pump to flush water from old boiler, and admitted they “forgot” to put it back. Water was in two rooms and a hallway of our finished basement. (We were flabbergasted!) We requested they clean up their mess, so they brought a shop vac to get the water (Day 4) but we demanded industrial dehumidifiers or blowers, so they begrudgingly complied and later that day brought us a blower to use over the weekend to be picked up on Monday morning, Day 7. Pipe banging continued to wake us up throughout the night, over the weekend and we wondered if they had forgotten the detergent/conditioner? So when the worker came to get the blower Day 7 we asked if they had added it, and they hadn’t. Later that day (Day 7), I went to put away clean linens in the linen closet in the basement, but couldn’t open the closet door, because a pipe that used to run above the closet was now resting below the front of the linen closet doors, blocking access. This was also the same pipe making most of the loud, violent banging noises. We emailed to tell them they needed to come fix it, so the earliest we could mutually find a time (to take more time off from work!) was Friday Day 11. Workers arrived and we clearly explained the frustrations with their attention to detail, problems with their workmanship that needed to be corrected, and they rudely stood in our own house and told us we were being passive-aggressive (mind.blown.). We went downstairs to check on lifting the the iron pipe and made sure we could open the linen closet (we could), but we failed to take much notice of the floor, as they had their tools strewn about, and figured they would be cleaning up. They failed to sweep or vacuum the metal filings around the base of the new unit, but the heat was working, and making less noise after finally adding the pipe conditioner. The next day (Day 12) I went downstairs to put away some boxes, tripping on one of the cement blocks now located near the furnace (the blocks had been underneath the old furnace and moved to random locations in the basement Day 1). I went to move it out of the way, but realized it wouldn’t move. They had lodged it, with a new unconnected piece of copper piping, under the iron steam pipe ensemble to prop up and lift the whole pipe configuration so that we could open our cabinet. THAT was their solution to the problem! We are livid! We said it was not acceptable, but they said “what’s wrong now”? They don’t even see how inappropriate that “solution” was. They did not attempt to use any proper pipe support (feet, rolls or hanging straps) but instead just crammed an oversized cement block and extra piece of coper pipe under the larger configuration of pipes. We will not allow them in our house to try and “correct” the situation AGAIN, it shouldn’t have happened in the first place, and we had them come once to fix it, and they failed. We are done wasting time with them! Mike seems like a nice guy, but do not hire him to fix or install anything.
Description of Work: Remove old furnace and replace with new gas steam boiler with new gas piping, vent, electrical, and electric water feeder. Included use of detergent/conditioner into pipes to calm banging sounds and installation of new thermostat on opposite side of wall with understanding it would take 1 day (quoted $6200).

If you don't mind paying $450.00 dollars to replace one outdoor faucet, then this is the company for you. Because they couldn't come right I waited 2 days to give them my business which meant that every time I needed water at all, I had to go turn the water to the house back on at the main because the faucet was leaking constantly. This made no difference or was even considered when I was handed the bill of what I was to pay. I even had a check made out to cash to help a small business guy. Didn't matter. Never again. These are the people that ruin things for everyone. He even had an apprentice working with him, so bad business practices are continued through his teachings.

I want to start by saying I appreciate your business. I also want it to be known that the price of $450 as well as the 2 day wait was given to you in our first conversation. A bad business practice would have been telling you $300 and I can do the job tomorrow, then showing up a day late and charging you more. I'm sorry you feel this way after the fact but in our conversation I said that if that is too long of a wait, I'd have no hard feelings if you went with somebody else. As for the cost, this job also included a new 1/2" shut off on the outdoor line and it was in a crawl space not a' basement.

Although my home's 65 year-old boiler was working when I purchased it, I was told it was on borrowed time. Sure enough, the house never really felt warm in the winter (even after adding $4k of insulation), and parts of the house couldn't get any heat despite fully functioning radiators and baseboards. I went through *at least* 10 top-rated HVAC and plumbing companies listed on Angie's List, and I have to say I was not impressed: equipment was recommended that made no sense for my house; estimates were never submitted; otherwise reasonable estimates were marred by $900 haul-away fees for my old boiler; and the "Barrington markup" was often in full effect (see: casual $7k estimate to split the house into two heating zones). Mike Cambio is the ONLY one who submitted an estimate when he said he would AND with 3 options that he clearly explained for us! His pricing was entirely fair (another company wanted $25k for the same boiler and told me the price was high "because we're good"). Mike showed up early and wouldn't leave until every bit of the job was right -- and that meant adding half a day to an already complex 2-day job. He walked me through everything before he left and gladly answered questions. My basement was left perfectly clean. He brought the rebate paperwork all filled out. Mike is the *only* plumber touching my house for as long as I live here! He is so easy to work with and doesn't pull any punches. My house is warm and finally in the 21st century, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Mike!!

Mike and his worker showed up on-time and worked non-stop for 9 hours. They cleaned up everything and took my old unit away as well. Mike and his helper were extremely professional and patiently answered all of my questions. I was extremely pleased with Mike and will definitely be calling on him for other plumbing or heating issues in the future.
Description of Work: I called Priority Plumbing to come in and give me an estimate to replace my tank-less combo heating/hot water system. Mike came in with the lowest price with an American made unit and was available to install the unit the next day. This was imperative since we were expecting the temps to go down to 5 degrees in the next few days.

When we first decided we wanted a mini-split we chose Priority Plumbing because of there great reviews and we were not let down. From the moment the owner(Mike) showed up on time for the estimate we were very pleased. Mike was very knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Was very patient as we were unsure of what we wanted to install. We decided to hire Priority not only because of price but because Mike seemed very trustworthy and knowledgeable. They arrived on time the day of install and were finished in one day. We are very pleased with the performance of the unit he installed. Our first hot day of year the system worked perfectly cooling our house and made it very comfortable. Also our unit has a heat pump in it, which was recommended, and we are happy we got it. On cool nights when its in the 40's the unit also does a great job of heating as well and is very energy efficient. We were very pleased with our experience with Priority Plumbing and Mike the owner. We would not hesitate to hire them again and recommend them when ever we can. Awesome job.

Easy to schedule. I gave them a call and Mike called back shortly after and scheduled an appointment for early next morning. The technician (Clay) arrived on time. We had a water heater installed by another plumber. Leaks happened 3 times in two days after install. That plumber assumed it was a bad pressure valve or overall bad water heater (Rheem from Home Depot). It was neither. We called Mike Cambio (Priority Plumbing & Heating) for an opinion and a possible fix. Over the phone he diagnosed that we most likely needed an expansion pressure tank. MIke came to the house within an hour, assessed the problem first hand and within about another hour, had installed the expansion tank, added a better pressure valve that extended to the water pan at the base and fixed our toilet, which oddly enough was somehow twisted out of place from the original plumber's install. Mike also took time to explain all aspects of the changes he did and why he did them. All in all, we are very happy and satisfied with the work and will certainly use Mike for any plumbing needs.

We called Mike on Monday morning explaining that the hot water tank spring a leak the night before. Mike gave me prices over the phone. After we agreed on the cost, Mike and Clay showed up at 2PM on schedule. They changed the tank and also added a water pan and alarm system which shuts off the water and sounds an alarm if the tank leaks in the future. The water pan and alarm are a good piece of mind. Had I not been in the basement at the time of the leak, the basement would have flooded over night. Mike and Clay did a professional job. They worked carefully and efficiently. As a retired electrician, I have been around many tradesmen, and Mike is a true craftsman. If you ever need a Class-A plumber, Mike is your man. Chris Kilpert
