The installer showed up at 800 am. (They said they would be there between 8 and 9). He got to work right away and was done in 6 hours, hauled away old doors and didn't make a mess. The price was more than fair. Something similar at lowes or home depot would have cost me over $3500 and the quality of installation would suffer by comparison.

Scheduled appointment over the phone on Wed for a Sat service. They arrived on time , very professional and had both springs replaced in about 20 minutes. Would definately recommend in the future!

HORRIBLE SERVICE AFTER you spend the $$ and buy a door!! The door (top panel) broke right down the middle of the panel, 15 months after installation. After initial call, someone came to house, supposedly looked at damage then simply left! I didn't know whether I should operate the door or not. No note, no info at all. NOW it has been 3 full weeks and NO ONE will return my phone calls. Paul at Overhead Door answers the phone & says he will get back to me as to what is going on, when is someone ever going to come back, are any parts being ordered? We still have not used the door just in case we are blamed for any repairs required. THREE WEEKS and no communications whatsoever! There is a car stuck in the garage that we cannot use!! What a huge difference in attitude once you pay for the door (I bought a mid-priced door). UPDATE March 2014 - The door has not opened 2 more times!! I regret spending over $1200 dollars for this piece of junk.

Arrived on time, Installed quickly and adjusted and serviced door. Price was as quoted. No problems to date.

It was a great, trouble free experience. i called first thing Monday morning. An operator answered right away and took my information and then scheduled an appointment for later that same day. I wasn't even required to be present! They came when they said they would, quickly completed the repair, reattaching the chain and replacing a couple of small parts. The price they charged was fair given the work done and the speed of the response. I was able to complete payment over the phone, and thanks to Walter the representative I spoke with they honored a 10% off Angie's List coupon even though I wasn't on site to give it to the technician. When I got home that evening the repair had been made and they left a receipt for my files describing the work done. A+ If only all other service calls were this easy!!!

They were running an ad about same day service when you call before non. So I called before noon and was initially told they couldn't get here that day. However, when I reminded them of the ad, they called back and said they would send someone out that day which they did. However, if they are going to have this "same day service" policy, they shouldn't initially tell someone they can't do it. The price seemed quite high. However, they did come out the same day I called so you pay for the quick service. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem and gave his recommendation. He seemed knowledgable and was very pleasant. The door is working well now so the quality of workmanship is good. The doors open and close a lot more quietly now.

very smooth. price was lowest of 3 bids The work teams showed up on time and first removed old door ( a lead issue so they had to dispose of iaw established abatement protocols) Then the install team went to work and installed all of the door components including opener and sensors. No hassle and everything as promised Would definetely use this company again

I sent an inquiry by email on a Saturday morning and the representative called me within a few hours to come out that day. Other companies didn't respond until Monday. The rep came and measured what we could. The old doors were frozen shut due to a frost heave but she gave me a tentative estimate and some materials to look at. Her advice about the type of door I should get with minimum insulation to keep it from warping was good. She tried to save me money. When I could get the old doors open a few days later, she returned and measured inside and we decided on a door - colonial look with some extra hardware, lock, etc. I think I signed the contract then and paid half the price....not sure. A few weeks later the guys came as scheduled and removed the old doors to set aside because I was selling them, and installed the new door. They needed some wood for the edges and another employee brought it. It took a few hours. A week or so later I asked for someone to come loosen the door for me, which they did, free of charge, and they added a rope to aid in pulling it down. There is no electricity in the garage so I din't get an opener. I priced a door online at big box stores and found that the price was good to start but they charged for haul away, for the lock, and then the taxes were added. At Overhead, the first estimate was all inclusive, including taxes, free haul away, lock, etc.

They were very prompt, returned calls, called to say they would arrive in a half hour on installation day, and even called after they were done to be sure we were 100% satisfied. The 10% Angie's List coupon made them cheaper than the competition. They are installing a new garage door opener tomorrow.

Jim Grace came and gave me a quote for tyhe above. He was very helpful and knowledgable. He explained all my options and did not try to sell me things I did not need. Although there were a few glitches with the initial installation, Jim and his staff made sure that a technician returned to correct them. They just finished the job today and I am very pleased.

They were very professional from the start. They were promt in getting me information on the selection of doors, helpful in the decision making and describing the pros and cons of each door and I felt like I got the best deal amongst the competition. I did not get the same treatment from 3 other local competitors.

The worker took down our old garage door opener and installed our new one complete with keypad for entry and safety beam. He was punctual, polite and cleaned up. He was just great.

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND GOT THE JOB DONE IN NO TIME. IT DID TAKE THEM AWHILE TO GET EVERYTHING TAKEN CARE OF, BUT IT WASN'T ANYTHING TOO BAD. I AM HAPPY WITH THEM.

THE GARAGE DOOR LOOKS EXCELLENT. I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM. THE GARAGE DOOR STILL WORKS JUST LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO, AND I THINK THEY DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB.

THIS COMPANY IS GREAT. THEIR WORK SCHEDULE WAS FULL BUT THEY WORKED ME IN ANYWAY. THEY WORKED IN A TIMELY FASHION AND MY DOOR WAS INSTALLED VERY QUICKLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

THIS COMPANY IS EXCELLENT. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM WAS OUTSTANDING CONSIDERING HOW MESSY THE JOB WAS AND HOW WELL THEY CLEANED UP THE AREA WHEN DONE WORKING.

THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE. THEY HAVE COME FOR EMERGENCIES SEVERAL TIMES. THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND WHEN WE CALL. THEY DO GOOD WORK FOR US AND REPAIR THE MOTOR EVERY TIME IT BREAKS. THEY ARE GOOD, NICE PEOPLE AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
