They arrived on time, did a thorough inspection of the garage door and opener between the cost of a new opener vs the cost of servicing the old one they recommended a new opener based on the age of the one that was working improperly. Installed the new opener in under an hour - works perfectly! I also asked to have the door seals replaced and I was told I would need to put in another order - the installer usually worked on commercial jobs only and was filling in for the day - he did say he would let the residential worker know and that I would get a call the next day... still have not heard from them - but I forgot about it as well so I will give them a call to address.

Exceptionally well. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, recommended an inexpensive fix and we are happily enjoying our garage door opener. I would recommend them without reservation; they did a great job.

After my husband went looking for contractors on Craig's List, I reminded him that we are members of Angie's List, and we did our search there. The reviews for Overhead Garage Door were excellent, so we gave them a call, expecting a long wait and a steeper price than what we had found with the Craig's List contractors (who never called us back, by the way!). OGD called us back almost immediately, and within a day, we had a sales rep at our home, measuring and calculating and showing us a slew of possibilities for our new doors! We stated our price range, and the rep promptly directed us to the brochures that would fit our needs. When we had almost decided on an option, she then told us that they were offering a much higher quality door at a "scratch-and-dent" price. The doors were actually perfect and a higher grade than what we were about to settle for; the doors were considered "scratch and dent" only because they had ordered a big inventory for a condo project which did not happen, and they had the doors in their warehouse. So, we got more door than we ever hoped to get at a very reasonable price, everything included! Today the installers came within the quoted time frame, and they did a fantastic job! It took them a little over three hours, and they took more time explaining some details about the doors, as well as some tips on getting the doors to "break in" as they conformed to the openings of our garage. They were totally professional and courteous and hard-working. I cannot express how thrilled I am with this company and offer my highest recommendations! It almost makes me wish we had more garage doors to replace! :)

Contact by phone and email was easy. A salesperson called to ensure that the correct door was being ordered. There were several reminder calls of when the job would be done. The installer arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time. Everything went smoothly

compared three local companies and overhead door was aprox 350.00 cheaper for a superior product. technician that installed doors was very professional and explained entire system in detail.

I called Overhead Garage Door because I could not open/close my garage door with the remote, and Scott returned my call promptly. He gave me 3 different suggestions on what could be causing the problem, all of which I could try myself. If none of them worked, I would call him back, and he would set up a service call. Well, I couldn't have been happier when one of his suggestions fixed the problem. I was impressed that the company had me try to fix it myself with no cost to me rather than make money with an unnecessary service call. If I ever have garage door problems, I would definitely call them again, and would recommend them.

The experience I had with Overhead Door was amazing. I called to make an appointment they were able to get me in right away. They called 15 minutes prior to when they arrive. Very professional!!

Every service call should go like this. The technician arrived exactly when he was scheduled and called ahead when he was leaving the prior job. He was a professional in his manner and knowledge. He diagnosed the condition, did what he had to do, and demonstrated the operation of the door after servicing it. The price was exactly as quoted in the estimate.

Every thing went very well.They worked fast . They had up to date equipment. They applied the most recent materials and methods . I was very pleased with their work.

Got a quote on phone and we decided to replace both springs not just broken one, then he services oiled and serviced both doors.

Workmanship was fairly good but installer did not clean up bits of metal and nuts and bolts from the floor. Had to have a person come to readjust a panel. Response was good but original installer was not customer friendly when I asked questions about operation and code changes for opener. Overall I would give a fair rating to company. The price was good especially with Angie's discount.

First serviceman installed new door but wouldn't install door opener. A week later new service man installed door opener and did a great job. A week later new first serviceman returned to install trim (molding)

One garage door stopped working so I called Overhead Door in RI. They sent Mike Yanno out the next business day. He was on time, professional and courteous. Mike opened the unit and diagnosed the problem immediately. The inside of the unit was completely burned out. He said it could have been due to a power surge and that I should get a surge protector for both units. He was able to replace the unit on the spot and did the work quickly and efficiently. The unit works great.

I had to reschedule the appointment twice for personal reasons, and they were understanding and rescheduled me without any problems. The work was performed in a timely manner and the charge was very reasonable. ( I had an Angie's List coupon, so I saved 10%, but even without it, I would only have paid $109.) I would definitely use this company again.

I called for an estimate and ended up setting up the appointment for replacement right away. They are not necessarily more inexpensive then competitors, but the value and service was excellent.

Just everyone from the first man that answered the phone, the man who came out here to give me an estimate and he sold the garage for, did not try to sell me anything that I didnt need to the two fellows that came out to install and am probably the hardest person of this area, everybody I came across from that company was phenomenal! They were knowledgeable, I can't say enough good things about them. They were here almost to the minute of their estimated time. They worked very quickly and efficiently. The guys were so appreciative because I brought them out a couple of bottled iced water and when they were all done I had a couple of bottles in the freezer getting really cold, the guys were sweating. They just muscled the runners of the doors were fine, they worked efficiently, cleaned up their mess, there were amazing! I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The garage installer (Al) was on time, polite and professional. He removed the old 2 car garage door and garage opener and hauled it away. The new carriage style garage door and new opener was installed in 3 hours which is exactly how long he said it would take. The door had a few minor scratches which I pointed out and Al touched it up with paint. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service and the new garage door is beautiful and a show stopper in the neighborhood.

Entire experience was very positive. Everyone we spoke with from the company was polite, courteous. The estimate process included detailed discussions of options. Installation workers were very professional and friendly. Work was done on time and on budget. Clean-up (to include carting away old doors and hardware) was excellent. I would HIGHLY recomemend this company.
