Description of Work: Replaced garage door springs and wall button. Arrived as promised, worked efficiently, answered questions. Telephoned a couple of days later to check I was satisfied with service.

Description of Work: We had ordered a new garage door and in anticipation of this, and at the request of Overhead, had an electrician install a new power outlet with a dedicated circuit in the garage ceiling. When the installer came to the house he told us that he wouldn't install the door because the ceiling is an asbestos drywall board ceiling per code at the time that it was installed (before we bought the house) for a garage under the house. To his credit he installed (and of course charged us for) a set of manual door locks on our aged Sears garage door. This service was requested and performed prior to the 2012 date I have listed here as Angie's date options don't go back further than 2012.

Description of Work: The repairperson was right on time and was able to fix the garage door opener. Additionally, since I had lost one of the openers, he was able to get me one that would work.

Description of Work: My home has an electric garage door opener installed by them which needed repair last year. They were prompt and did a great job. I needed a new garage door and researched price,etc. I went to their location and price, etc were less than expected. The service was prompt and excellent. I asked them to replace the keypad opener on the outside and they gave me a discount on that in the final negotiation. The entire experience was stress-free and the door has well-fitting weather seals.

Description of Work: They installed a new overhead garage door. About 3 months after installation I decided to practice opening the door manually. A few days later, I noticed a hole in 2 of the panels on the door. I called to have someone come to the house. Apparently the key cylinder, which is unlocked manually and pulled out to disengage the gears, needs to be returned to the slot, and then locked with the key before the door is opened. I do not remember being told to re-lock the cylinder before the door is opened, nor do I remember seeing the technician do it upon installation. I realize now that I thought it relocked automatically. So, it took a few days, but eventually the key cylinder fell out, then got mangled into 2 panels of the door as the door opened. The staff at Overhead Door were very understanding, came almost immediately to check out the situation, and provided 2 new panels for the door at no charge to me. There was also an occasion when a neighbor and I smelled what seemed to be burning rubber when the door went up. A technician came out, replaced a burnt out motor light, and tested the door mechanics. No further problem.
