The team at Nature Redesigned, including owner Joe Shaw, were top notch and professional from beginning to end. To start, I spent weeks in the early summer of 2021 trying to get a landscaper to return my calls and eventually visit my property. It was brutal. Either I would never hear back or when I did, I was told it would be months before someone would be available. When I contacted Nature Redesigned, Joe quickly followed up and scheduled a review of my property. We requested all new plant beds around the house and asked that our patio be power-washed and new polymeric sand be put in. Within two weeks Joe and his team were here getting the work done. When the team was working on the patio, they noticed water gushing up from under each tile as it was stepped on. It turns out that every time it rained, the water under the patio was never draining away correctly. I was concerned that if it was left in this condition and the soil underneath eroded year after year, the patio would eventually become uneven and/or collapse. The team at Nature Redesigned immediately had a plan for how to correct the issue and put in a new drain system the next day. Since my wife and I were not confident determining which plants would be appropriate, Joe took that responsibility and made sure that what we had would add a variety of color, be resistant to animals nibbling, and would thrive based on where they were positioned in the yard. His team were also quick to address any minor issues that arose. Everyone on the Nature Redesigned team was competent, courteous, and professional. Joe and his team were very professional. They installed a beautiful patio for my family to enjoy. The pavers were even more beautiful than I imagined. They work efficiently in a short time. It only took a few days for them to complete the job.

For the most part real well. Any issues that arose afterwards were taken care of. We had mulch removed and sod planted. Joe is very pleasant to talk with and does return calls.

We used Nature Redesigned after completing a year and a half renovation on a home, which left us with a beautiful house sitting in the middle of a mudflat. Nature Redesigned came in and installed garden beds, a crushed stone driveway, bluestone paths, and a lawn. Our project is ninety five percent complete at this stage, and we are very satisfied with the results! The owner Joe Shaw, is easy to work with, responsive and his crew showed up on time every morning and worked hard all day until the project was complete. We are sure to have additional landscaping projects over the years, and will most certainly use Nature Redesigned to help us in completing them.

We hired Nature Redesigned to completely replace the beds in our front yard with perennials, boxwoods, and other flowering shrubs. I love the plants that Joe chose. Now the area looks neat and will have color all season. They also tore out a driveway from our backyard, added loam, and hydroseeded the area. The job was complicated by a second driveway under the top one which called for more labor and loam. I appreciated his communication along the way regarding the additional expenses which were fair. The guys that did the work were professional and courteous. Joe came by with a care guide and also some extra seed to fill in our front lawn. I am very pleased with the results and look forward to working with him on future projects including repair of existing patio steps.

I had a vision for my front yard's transformation and Nature's Redesign gave me that vision. A professional and courtesy work crew made the process seamless and without complaint. I will use this company again, and I have plans for an Autumn project.

Joe and his team were great! I hired them to do some fall lawn maintenance including dethatching, aerating, adding top soil to bare spots, seeding/overseeding, and fertilizing. I had reached out to several other companies and Nature Redesigned's prices were better, they were more responsive, and could come sooner. Then they came on time, did a great job, and followed up to ensure I was satisfied with the work (which I was). I highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about the quality of the installation that Joe and Nature Redesigned did for us. It was a large job in terms of the scope of work and we could not be happier with the results. It is a significant investment for a homeowner and Joe was very patient as we worked through the process and decisions. He made himself available, answered our questions and was very responsive before during and after the process. All of my neighbors also commented to us that his crew was one of the best they had ever seen. My wife and I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

We had to have our front yard entirely landscaped after taking down several large tree. Because we wanted to eliminate a lawn, we asked Joe to create a landscape design that would be a natural alternative in order to conserve water, reduce the need for chemical fertilizers and pest control, and minimize maintenance. Since all houses around include lawns, we also asked Joe to design something that would not stand-out as a neighborhood oddity. Previous landscapers proposed cookie-cutter ideas that frankly were uninspired and likely to look out of place in our neighborhood. Then we met Joe. He talked about the practicalities of the project, but he also talked about elements of color, shape, space and texture. He directed us to an excellent nursery so that we could explore possibilities, and he personally assessed and modified our numerous choices to reflect what he felt we were looking to achieve within our budget. Joe also responded quickly and competently to questions and requests for changes as the job unfolded. I also want to add that Joe’s team was outstanding: they were on time and worked in all kinds of weather; they were polite and friendly and clearly had an established comraderie that allowed for hard work to be done efficiently, and I have to say, cheerfully. These guys respect their own work, and they are invested in a successful outcome. At a time when promises are fluid and competence is often overstated, Joe Shaw is the real deal! I have no reservations about recommending his company.

We love the new look of our front yard. Low maintenance and very attractively designed. But the best part was how pleasant it was to work with the entire crew at Nature-Redesigned. They were efficient, knowledgeable, very respectful, professional and just so nice to work with.

I have used Nature Redesigned for the last 5 years (or more). Joe is easy to work with listens to my requests and works with me to provide a yard that looks beautiful when they are done. He has planted trees and shrubs for me and put in a walkway. I plan on using Nature Redesigned for my future landscaping needs.

The work is excellent! It looks even better than I expected. And now we have a functioning parking spot that used to be in mud half the time. Thank you Joe and team.

Joe and Nature Redesigned did an excellent job with my front yard landscaping. Joe had great ideas for the design and his team worked quickly and professionally. You can really tell the difference between companies who are just doing a job and companies who really care about a job. Nature Redesigned really seems to care. AND Joe's quote was nearly a grand less than one of the bigger landscaping companies I contacted. Would hire again!

Not well, The owner Joe Shaw, a personable young man, however, he is not a lawn person. I'm not sure about his Landscaping abilities, but in retro- spec-I would not hire him to do my Lawn. I paid a considerable amount of money (close to $4000) for him to fix my lawn and that never came to fruition. In fact the lawn is worse now than when I started (bald spots and crab grass) and he is blaming me for not watering properly. Seriously, this is not the case. He cut corners with the soil and seeding. Because of work not being done (not putting down Dylox as part of contract), using poor soil (grew only crab grass), putting down Pre-Emergent late and the list goes on, I spent an enormous amount of money for nothing. The lawn is worse than when I started (back in 2018, I wanted to give him a chance) and there is no accountability. And it is going to cost a small fortune to fix the damage. I also found out through the Attorney Generals office that he was not Licensed since 2017. Shame on Angies List for recommending him. They too dropped the ball and did not do their due diligence.

I knew I wanted an aesthetic that reflected a natural vibe in keeping with our existing landscaping. As he walked our property and listened to my ideas, Joe came up with a plan to add not only beauty to my yard but also provided a "beachy" feel to our property that we love! His team arrived on time, worked the entire day and did a full clean up before leaving our home. Joe is professional, considerate and top notch in his field. Joe will be returning in the Fall to hydro-seed our lawn. Without question, I highly recommend Nature Redesigned Landscaping.
