After reading the many excellent reviews for Larry at Custom Sealcoating I called and left a voicemail. Larry returned my call withing a couple of hours and he answered all my questions. We agreed to a time for him to come by and see the driveway and he was able to come over earlier than anticipated. Larry is very good about following up by telephone and he called to make sure the new time was convenient for me. He arrived exactly when he said he would and then he carefully inspected my driveway and offered a fair price to do the work and I accepted. Two days later Larry called to say the weather looked good and he would be arriving later in the morning. As before he was here at the specified time. He and one of his helpers went to work cleaning the driveway and setting up to fill the cracks and apply the seal coat. At no time did they seem to "rush" just to get the job done. In the end they did just what they said would be done and I am pleased.

I had an outstanding customer service experience with this company. Called and spoke to the owner to get a quote, and I did not have to wait for a call back, but received an actual instant quote based on my description of the driveway! The price was reasonable, and the company was able to schedule me for same day service! The owner arrived on-time, and completed the job within 2 to three hours. This included extensive cleaning of the driveway, as well as grass trimming around the perimeter to achieve the best possible look for the completed driveway. I am very pleased with the completed job and will hire this company again without question. This is a company who cares about customer service and takes pride in the work!

The paving company that I had initially contracted with called me to say they would not be able to complete the scheduled job for another few weeks. I wanted my one year old driveway sealed before the beginning of school so I called Custom Sealcoating. I spoke with Larry Glick who gave me a reasonable quote and was told the job could be completed within two weeks. To my surprise and delight he called me two days later and said he would be able to come in two days. The driveway was sealed early in the morning after I left for work. When I came home I was amazed at how great it looked.. Larry even called me later in the evening to make sure I was satisfied and to answer any questions. Very pleased with the level of customer service and performance of Custom Sealcoating.

When I initially called Custom Sealcoating, I spoke with Larry and he patiently answered all my questions regarding the work to be done. The job itself began with Larry's sidekick Greg diligently trimming back any overgrowth of lawn from the border of the driveway, and completely cleaning the entire surface. Larry then filled all problem cracks with a hot filler, followed by an ample covering of sealcoat. I thought the driveway looked great and apparently so did someone driving by cause they stopped and questioned Larry about having their driveway done. Larry and Greg seemed like good guys, and were professional and thorough in their work. This is my first time using Angie's List for a referral and I'm quite pleased.

Larry was very quick to respond to my inquiry. He came out to see that driveway that very day. The most impressive thing was the up front honesty that Larry gives. He told me what he could and couldn't do and exactly what to expect when he was finished. He wanted to make sure that I understood exactly what they would be doing. On the day of service he was here on time as expected. We had a lot of dirt and algae on the driveway which he and his partner spent a huge amount of time cleaning before starting the filling and seal coating. I was very happy with the end result, it was exactly as Larry described. I got several estimates and I was the most comfortable with Larry and his honest trustworthiness.

I emailed Larry via his website and within 10 min and to my surprise he called me back. He showed up on a Sunday and did a fantastic job- from cleaning the driveway to laying down the new sealer. It seemed my neighbors liked his work too because they came over asking for cards and when i took a look down the street today i saw another custom sealcoat sign next to a great looking black driveway. Thanks Larry ill be calling you in a few years to have it done again.

Larry came in and did a great job. throughly cleaned the the surface before applying new sealcoat, driveway looks great, very happy with the entire experience.

Larry was punctual, thorough, and professional. The job was done to my satisfaction, and the results several days later are terrific. Larry also gave me some good advice about how to repair the large crack where my driveway meets the road. Overall, a fine experience. I plan on calling Larry when the driveway next needs sealing, which should be in 3 years.

Larry (the owner) was very responsive and eager to please from the start. He went out of his way to do a good job at a competitive price and I felt like he truly appreciated my business. Quick turnaround time from my initial phone call to job completion. He even worked on the holiday (Memorial Day) to get the job done since we had a 2-3 window of good weather to allow the sealer to dry. Overall, I was very pleased with the work and would not hesitate to recommend this company. Although they're based out of Rhode Island, they are more than willing to travel to Massachusetts. Well worth a phone call if you are considering having your driveway sealed and live in the Metro West area as I do. (Dover, Sherborn, Framingham, Natick, Weston, etc.) There are a lot of people competing for this type of work so it pays to shop around.

I did not obtain an estimate at this time because the company does not provide the paving services I need at the present time. But in the future, I would definitely contact them for a quote on seal-coating.

Within hours of my call Larry was at my home to inspect and provide a quote to reseal my driveway. Hewas extremely thorough in his inspection and explanation of my driveway issues and requirements. He provided me with options regarding days/times to do the job and arrived promptly on schedule. As with application of any type of coating thorough preparation is essential. Larry did not stint on any part of the preparation taking over 2 hours to ensure the driveway was ready to receive it's new coating. The driveway looks great and Larry made sure that every aspect of the job was clear to me and carefully answered all my questions in detail. I would definitely recommend Larry and would use him again.

Larry and Gary gave me a quote for resealing my driveway over the phone based on looking up my house on Google Earth. They came round on time, did thorough prep work and patched cracks with a rubberized compound, then resealed the drive. It looks great and they seemed to use a thick mixture. Last time I had this done it was by a couple of guys doing a driveby with some leftover sealant (probably watered down) - although cheap it didn't last 2 years. Larry made a quality repair - neat and professional.

About 5 years ago I hired some young guy for $800 to spray sealcoat the driveway via a truck. It was a horrible job... uneven coating (actually missed spots) and didn't have the deep thick finish I was hoping for. Since that time my driveway was really starting to weather and crack... it lost its dark finish and was turning light. Plus, two pot-hole/speed bumps were developing. I then begin my search for seal coating contractor again. Using Angie's list I found Custom Sealcoating (they had the highest rating for my area) and called in February 2013. Larry answered the phone and we talked for almost 30 minutes about my driveway and issues. While on the phone, he looked up my house on Google-earth to get a visual. From there he drove up to see the location the following week and called me back with a price of $1,300 which included using some cold patch to fix the speed bump that had developed because of bad drainage and frost heaves. While it was more that what I had paid before, Larry indicated that he would be doing it himself by hand to make sure that it was an even, thick coat. Plus, he put some crack-filler in the numerous cracks (the prior guy didn't do that) and fixed the speed bump by using COLDPATCH. Larry was very professional. He called in advance to schedule the actual work day. The day before he was to do the job the weather changed and he had to reschedule (which happened to be the next day) and came at the time he promised and was done at the time he promised. When I saw the completed job I was thrilled! It was dark and beautiful--the cracks were filled and the speed bump no longer rattled my teeth when I go over it! A+

(This was a few months ago, so details are somewhat vague) I called to contact the person listed in the ad; he called back within 3 hours, from the road (he was on a vacation day) and promised to give me an estimate as soon as he was able to access his computer. He used special software that allowed use of satellite technology to measure my driveway (he did not need to drive by), and gave me a quote within a day. They did the work while I was on vacation (within a week of the call) and did it to my satisfaction.

Excellent service showed up ontime and early. Did the work, the driveway looks excellent and stuck with his estimate.

Except for the rain that had not been forecasted it was great!

Larry came out to meet me and explain in detail all the work that was going to be performed (no spraying) and how it was going to be done along with the type of sealant. While I thought the estimate was a bit high I realized in this world you get what you pay for. I was very pleased with the results and would recommend this company to others.

I called Larry on a Sunday thinking that I would get an answering service, however, he answered. He stated that he would call back on Monday to obtain more information in regards to what we were looking for. He called as he stated on Monday and gave an estimate of around $500. He was polite and informative and answered all my questions. He stated that he would be at our house on Thursday or Friday depending of the weather. He called us again on Wed to confirm a Friday time. He showed up right on time and hand filled all of our cracks and sealed the driveway.The price was just as he quoted. Larry was professional, courteous, informative, he followed through on all that he said that he would and left us with a overall very positive experience. I would suggest him to others without a doubt.

Larry provided professional and courteous service. I could not be more pleased with my driveway, it came out excellent. I live in a country setting, with weather and falling leaves making a more difficult job than say maybe in a city setting. Larry has a huge thumbs up from me and would recommend him to anyone sealing there driveway. :)

We had a great experience with Larry. I joined Angies List because I was trying to get my driveway coated for over a year and I was not having any luck getting estimates on my own. Larry was at my house within a day of my inquiry, gave me a reasonable estimate, and talked me out of what would have been an expensive, unnecessary repair on a low traffic corner that was broken, which saved me a lot of money. We scheduled the job and about a week later it was done. I am very pleased with the results and I will use Larry again in the future.
