Description of Work: complete removal and replacement of the roof on a typical raised ranch including installation of all new soffit venting and ridge venting, installed self adhearing membrane underlayment on entire roof, all new shingles, new chimney flashing on two chimney's, minor repair of roof deck, and repair of two sagging rafters. Corey was very professional, price was very good for the higher grade materials I selected for better wind and rain protection. Work crews were on schedule and polite and clean up was very good. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: They removed the existing flat roofing,replaced old boards,added downspout,replaced gutters, flashing around the chimney and poured a new rubber roof.

 + -1 moreThey are certainly well trained and I saw nothing less than professional workmanship. I'm not good at writing reviews but they did my house roof the right way and at a good price. Turns out that most of the wood was good and I was so impressed and had enough money left over that I hired them back again to do my garage and breezeway roofs. So if you need a roof and are getting proposals other roofers, it will cost you nothing to let Ferschke Construction take a peek at your roof.

They are dependable, they showed up when they were supposed to and they did a good job. They were just a joy to have around. It is also a family owned business.

 + -1 moreThe young man from Ferschke Construction was one of the first to respond, he had a very good presentation, and he seemed to know very much what he was doing. He wasn't a shingle master to provide me a warranty so I went with someone else but my impression of him was excellent.
Description of Work: Ferschke Construction gave me a quote of $4200 for tearing off the old roof and putting on new shingles.

 + 1 morebecause they are stThey installed my roof and I was so impressed that I hired them to install the siding, as well. Much of the prep work had already been completed and I had purchased and delivered the materials myself, so it was just up to them to install everything. They did a great job and the place looks good. They worked unbelievably fast though they agreed to be paid by the hour for this project only since they are just starting their business. I would recommend them to anyone that needs siding or roofing. I"m considering hiring them for gutters, too.
Description of Work: Under supervision of their father, Kevin and his brother installed Hardiplank siding and Harditrim (cement board siding) on my garage. It looks good. I had someone else bring the project to this point and I was happy with the "finishing work" they did. It looks very good and was installed according to the Hardiplank manufacturer's recommendations ie 1/8" space at end of boards, 1/4" above trim, prime cut ends before installation, etc. My only complaint is that a couple of the spaces were larger than 1/8" but after I mentioned this to them they tightened up to spec. Not a big deal and it will get covered with caulk and paint, anyway, I was being nitpicky.

 + 1 moreIt went well as shown by the fact that there were no leaks after the last rain storm--at least that's how mi measure a roof. Oh yes, and it looks great too. Kidding aside, all three were a pleasure to deal with. Polite, clean, and very FAST. I'd reccomend them--in fact, based on the roof I hired them to install my siding, as well. Since they're just starting out with their company I decided to take the time to give them a detailed review...
Description of Work: Under their father's supervision Kevin and his brother removed three layers of the old roof, disposed in dumpster, and installed a new roof--water and ice dam, roffing felt, drip edge, and architectural shingles with proper ridge caps and starter strip. They flashed for the bathroom and all in all did a professional job.
