I called Fershke & talked with who i believe was the owner. We had a nice conversation about my needs & make an appointment for Wednesday for him to come to the house with samples and give an estimate. Not only did he never showed up (i made sure i was off for work for this) when i called him to inquire about happened- no call back!

Corey was extremely easy to work with; he provided good communication and did the work he said he was going to do on the timeline and at the price point agreed upon. I would happily hire them again.

From quote to job completion all work professionally done and looks great. Also had them replace some rotted trim boards and build new crickets for chimneys. Would hire again for future work.

Called Ferschke Construction for an appraisal after seeing the reviews on Angie's list. We had been working overtime at work to be able to save the money to fix our leaky roof so we can sell our home. They were quick to come out and were very kind in assessing the work and offered a fair quote. I liked how they itemized everything and felt they were reputable and trustworthy. I called Corey Ferschhke and we discussed details of scheduling and set the date for work to be done. Two weeks from today. We took the time off work to be available and make sure the work went smoothly. We informed our real estate agent the work was planned and she can move forward with plans. 3 days prior to work, we started to become nervous. We hadn't heard from them for confirmation or anything for 11 days. We decided to call and confirm. -Left a voicemail, no reply. -Next day, 2 days before work start, call, no reply. Text message, no reply. -Called 1 day before work start, a woman answered and told me someone would call back. No one called back. -On the day of start, I knew Ferschke Construction burned us. We had not heard from them for 2 weeks and work was supposed to start early tomorrow morning. That night, at 8:20, less than 12 hours from work time, we get a text message from a random number saying they won't be able to come as planned tomorrow but Monday the'll do the work....uh...what? I work Monday. The first thought in my mind was how much money we had just lost by trusting Ferschke Construction. Money we couldn't afford to lose. Of course we got some hollow text message apology, but does that make up for the lost wages, waste of 2 weeks, and disrespect? Insulting. This was particularly upsetting because initially they seemed like normal, honest people. As homeowners, you develop acute sense of who not to trust and who to stay far away from. But these guys pulled a fast one on my family in the 9th inning and expressed no interest in making it right. My family and I were left worse off by trusting Ferschke Construction. I mistook them as good hearted 'my handshake is my word' kind of folks, but I was wrong.

Mark from Ferschke did a great job. I purchased a $99 Angie's "coupon" for checking the entire roof, etc. Mark spent a lot of time checking the entire roof, the lead flashing around the chimney, etc. He also re-attached the back gutter that was loose / hanging, AND changed an outdoor lightbulb! I plan to have him come back in the spring to replace an area of roof shingles and 'sister' boards to existing rafters for a firmer gutter attachment. Again, Mark was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well.

Corey was very responsive and professional throughout the job. We were able to fit in to a delay in Ferschke's schedule, so we had the work done a week later. They did a great job. I am happy with the work they did and how easy they were to work with.

When I first placed a call to Corey Ferschke, I left a message. He called me back within minutes. He made an apponntment to examine the job in a few days and arrived promptly that day. I had an estimate within 24 hours of his visit. Corey completed the work in one day. He was also patient in waiting for my insurance claim check to clear. Finally, the quality of the work was excellent. I highly recommend Ferschke Construction!

Mr. Ferschke was very responsive, said that he would try to repair the skylight even though it is very old, and we might not need to replace it just yet. He did the work on time, there were no leaks and my tenant was ecstatic.

Do yourself the biggest favor and if you have any roof work to be done call Ferschke Construction. It will be the only you call you will have to make. It's what every construction project interaction should be and rarely is. Mark came to my house, gave me an an honest and fair estimate and they completed the work quickly and to a high standard. Additionally, they worked hard to make the process around my schedule and easier for me. I highly recommend this company!

Inspection was prompt, expert and thorough. Follow on repairs were completed within three Days.

Ferschke Construction did a superb job replacing our roof. They were punctual, professional and efficient at all stages of the process, from the initial estimate to cleaning up afterwards. The work took 3 days overall (about 22 squares of shingled area), less time than expected, but they certainly did not skimp on effort. We've had heavy rain and storm Hermine since completion of the job, but the new roof has held up very well and seems totally solid. Mark (the father) came to do the estimate, and explained all parts of the job, the pricing and the warranties in detail. The brothers Corey and Kevin and their helpers are clearly very skillful and experienced in roofing work, and were responsive and pleasant to deal with too. I asked them to be careful with the plants in the front yard, and appreciate that they managed to minimize any damage caused by ladders and the debris from stripping the old roof. I'm also grateful that they alerted me to problems with our old chimney, and will be taking their advice to get someone in to repair it. In summary, we (everyone living in this house) are pleased that we hired this family-owned company to replace our roof and are thoroughly satisfied with the quality of work done. We would not hesitate to recommend Ferschke Construction as reliable and expert roofers.

We hired Ferschke to replace a flat roof. Corey was professional, replied quickly and the pricing was good. We were very happy with our choice, as it took months of interviewing contractors to find one that we wanted to move forward with. The night before the work was supposed to begin, I get an email from Corey saying that he could not get a permit to do the work. The company is in Rhode Island and the work being done is in Mass. I had asked him several weeks in advance if he would be able to secure a permit and he confirmed that he would. I send a reminder email that we want to make sure we get a copy of the permit, and the reply was the night before the work was supposed to start, apologizing for not being able to get it. I was confused, thinking maybe he just needs more time, but no, he can't get a permit, and said he could not do the work, unless we don't get a permit! It's a major job, and we would have neighbors that would ask to see it. I am so disappointed. Don't quote jobs unless you know you can secure a permit in that state. Now I have to start my contractor search all over again, I've wasted precious time with this company.

Absolutely excellent experience with Ferschke Construction. Part of our roof blew off during a storm while we were in AZ. From the very first phone call I felt confident I would get excellent service & I did. Mark placed the emergency tarp & Corey provided us with the detailed info needed for the insurance company. Corey made several excellent suggestions as we worked our way thru the insurance maze of estimates & approvals. When we returned from AZ 2 months later, Corey met with us to give us a detailed explanation of what to expect when they began the job. They were able to start a few days earlier than anticipated. They arrived when they said they would, they had multiple guys working on the job site (we have a large roof), they were respectful of our landscaping, they cleaned up after themselves every day, and they were just all round a real pleasure to work with. Not to mention the roof looks fabulous when it was all done. Corey even helped clean up some of the attic when he saw all the pieces of wood that had fallen - and he only went up into the walk up attic to fix a vent hose! Really above & beyond. The roof has an excellent warranty so I probably won't have to call them again, but I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone who needs roof work completed!

Awesome. Prompt. Took the time to explain as well as diagnose. Bought my house two years ago and roof is only 5 years old. Fixed a minor issue but more importantly told me how the original roof was installed, the good and bad. Could tell I was dealing with a knowledgeable contactor....my first Angies's List purchase!

Corey and his crew were professional from start to finish. Was able to start the job quickly and priced very well. Explained the process and warranty in complete detail. Completed job in two days, cleaned work areas spotless both days after they were done despite working in 95 degree heat. Everything was completed as discussed with no delays or excuses. Best experience I've had with contractors in or around my home.

Mark was fantastic! During the inspection, he told me that overall, the roof was in very good condition. He made some suggestions on how to get better drainage and explained what he could do. I told him that when it rains, the area over the door just pours down water making it difficult to get in and out without getting soaked. He checked it out and told me he could fix it. He came back a couple weeks later and did some work on the valleys to get better drainage, he sealed all the cracks on the chimney and he fixed the area over the door. A couple days later it rained hard for several hours and we knew immediately that what Mark had done worked! The difference was amazing! Mark was professional, friendly and he explained everything he was going to do and why. As a bonus, for no extra cost, he cleaned some areas of the gutters that were filled with debris. I will definitely call him again if any more roof problems come up!

Couldn't have gone smoother. Came out on a Wednesday for the consultation and was back Thursday to do all of the work. Very thorough and professional. Will definitely use again in the future to maintain my current roof and when the day comes to finally replace the roof.

Corey and his gang were fantastic! Super easy to work with, always with a smile on their faces, super professional! As a single woman, you never know if you're going to get "taken", but Corey and his crew actually came in with the lowest bid, and did a MUCH better job than the folks that did my neighbor's house, where he paid at least $2000 more for the same space! Ha! I will DEFINITELY recommend Ferschke construction to everyone and anyone! You will not be disappointed!
