We purchased a $95 coupon from Angie's List for a roof inspection. Our house was built in the 1930's so we had some concerns for potential problems. Corey inspected the main roof and a flat roofed addition that we had questions about. He checked flashing around two chimneys, the gutters and downspouts. He also checked to see if any of the chimneys had leaked into the attic. He fixed a piece of flashing that had torn loose and added a downspout extension to a gutter that wasn't functioning very well. His inspection was very thorough and he took the time to explain everything. I was impressed with how willing he was to answer questions and provide explanations. I would definitely recommend Ferschke and will call on them in the future.

Went with a larger crew due to time considerations but would definitely recommend Corey.

Work crew was courteous and professional. Signed the contract on Friday and 8am Monday they went right to work. Finished in a day and a half, cleanup was exceptional! Warranty and quality of work added a lot of value to our home.

Mark, Corey, and family were excellent. They arrived when they said they would, did the job by the time they said they would, and left the place looking cleaner than it was before they came. My wife and I were very impressed by their knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness. And we're very happy with the quality of the roof itself. All went very well, they were on time and gave me an overview of my roof and the minor repairs needed. The young man took photos and described what he would be doing and all was covered under the special I had purchased. Very professional.

They were outstanding! We had ice damming and interior water damage during the crazy winter of 2015-15. I had outrageous roof repair and replacement quotes all last year from several roofing contractors. Most of them wanted to install mega ice shiled systems and completely replace a roof that has only one layer of shingles. Ferschke inspected my roof, identified some areas that needed minor repairs and/or improvements, gave me a reasonable quote and performed the work quickly and professionally. We had no problems this past winter and I now know that my roof will be in good shape for several more years without replacing it.

They did a great job! As fate would have it, it poured the day after I got the work done. The roof did not leak at all, the gutters worked great after repairing the drip edge, and the siding issues were resolved as well. Would recommend them to anyone. Very through and took the time to explain issues, potential costs, and alternatives as necessary.

From the initial phone call to discuss the roof issue, Mark was extremely helpful and professional. I called him on Monday and he was at my house on Saturday to do the repair. He explained everything he was doing in detail; and also informed me of other issues which may arise in the future and provided great advice to go about preventing these issues. I will definitely call Mark again for any roofing projects.

Corey was very informative to the situation. He was professional and prompt with returning calls. His work was exceptional. We would definitely hire him again in the future.

This was a $95 big deal purchase and it did not turn out very good. The deal was for a $200 purchase and he did not know what he was supposed to do. He got up there, did a check and he said that he would need to seal some holes up there and it would cost me $100 more. So he did it and I paid him the extra $100. So it cost me a total of $200. The deal should have covered the $200 service. It only took him 15 minutes to do it. They could have done what they were supposed to do -- come in there, do the inspection, write me a detail of what they inspected including taking photos of what they were supposed to do and not charge me extra because I already paid for that. One other thing; the guy estimated that it was going to cost me about $6,000 for a new roof because I asked how much it would cost me for one. Then he came back with an email saying the cost would be $8,000 so I don't know what they replaced. It was a good deal, but he did not do what he was supposed to do. I could not go up there and inspect it, but I think he did an okay job.

My husband & I purchased an 1890 Victorian house in 2014. We knew that replacing the 25-year old roof would be the first thing to repair. Because we want to be consistent with the quality of design & workmanship of the house, we did not want a fast slap-on job done in 2 days. We also wanted a Victorian style roof shingle that is not particularly common. My research led me to Ferschke Construction, a family owned & run business specializing in quality roofing. The contact person [one of the sons] is Corey Ferschke. He was/is fantastic to work with! In a free lengthy consultation at our house, we discussed our desires, while he listened carefully and fully educated us on our options. He is extremely knowledgeable, being a trained & experienced roofer as well as a customer liaison. He answers all phone calls and emails promptly, arranges scheduling & keeps to it! The roof itself was a tour de force! Several layers of previous roofs had to be removed before our new roof could be laid on. The temperature was in the high 90's (100+ up on the roof), but the family crew worked full days with minimal break times despite the heat. Amazing they didn't get heat stroke! They also worked smoothly & quietly [no blaring radios or shouting, etc.] Sufficient clean-up was done at the end of each day, no damage to garden plants. Entire roof job [not including gutters] took 5 days. Result is beautiful!

After a heavy rain storm, I noticed some water stains on the ceiling. I inspected the attic, and noticed several leaks from the roof. I purchased a deal posted on Angie's List for a roof tune up from Ferschke Construction. The cost was $95 and it came with a $100 credit for any work that needed doing after the inspection. Corey (the owner) responded in good time and arranged an appointment after November 30th. When I explained I had a leak in the roof, he got his father (Mark) to contact me to arrange an earlier appointment. I appreciated him doing this very much. Mark came on time, inspected the roof thoroughly, and made the repairs that were needed. He explained everything to me in a very clear and helpful manner and told me what my options were if I needed a new roof at some point. My wife and I were impressed by his knowledge, as well as his courteous and professional manner. I would certainly call upon Mark or Corey if my roof needs any work in the future.

He arrived on time; performed the inspection and provided a report.

Corey and his team were awesome. He got back to my email right away with an estimate and got here quickly to do the work. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with great communication, great work and just being a pleasure to work with.

Corey contacted me quickly after I put in a request through Angie's list. He was polite and knowledgeable and very prompt. He set an appointment to look at our issues and arrived 10 minutes early. He explained everything that needed to be done. I received my quote quickly and the work was scheduled within a week. I had not even been able to get other contractors to respond to my request let alone have the work completed in under 2 weeks total. I cannot say enough about this company. I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done. Thank you to Corey and his family for the great business ethic you show. That is a rare thing.

Corey and Mark did an excellent job replacing my roof, about 35 squares. I specified the materials I wanted and they put together a detailed written contract. The whole job took about a week. They were always pleasant and professional. We met at the end and went over their work. They were very willing to address a few small concerns. The roof and gutters were cleaned properly and all old roof material was removed without damage to property or shrubbery. I would definitely recommend them for other roofing jobs. Marshall Wold

Ferschke Construction does everything right. They showed up when they said they would. They provided a detailed, professional, written proposal and responded promptly to questions that came up later. I got lucky and they were able to schedule my work within days instead of the weeks that we had originally anticipated. The crew arrived with the quality material that had been promised and all the tools and equipment to do the job and when they were finished, they cleaned up after themselves. The new roof is leak free and looks beautiful. These guys were a pleasure to do business with and I recommend them highly to anyone who needs a new roof.

From the start, Corey was attentive, polite, punctual and very informative. He was there when he told me that he was going to be there and the project lasted 5 days. I was told from other roofers that using 50% metal and 50% asphalt was not an option. Corey gave me options and prices for both. They started on Monday and finished on Friday. They cleaned up very well. I was impressed with the whole crew. If I had a question, Corey or his father would stop what they were doing, come down off of the roof and speak to me. When I was getting estimates, I had one guy come out, take measurements, tell me he had applied metal roofing previously, then never call me back. I was actually hesitant to have the metal roof done due to lack of knowledge with the application of the product. Ferschke Construction put my fears to rest. They are honest, hardworking, professional and I would highly recommend them for metal or asphalt shingle application.

I actually had Corey do 2 projects because he was so professional and fair the first time around. His pricing was below several other quotes I got from people trying to profiteer on my tight schedule. His work looks perfect from what I can tell and he came in exactly on budget and exactly when he said he would, barring delays to weather. I have worked with Corey twice now and if another issue ever arises, he will be one of the first people I call!

This is a wonderful family owned company who obviously knew what was entailed in working with shakes. When Corey arrived with the estimate, he proposed some suggestions which had not been done before and would help to extend the life of the new material. They were very prompt in arriving and worked most diligently and completed the job in 5 days. They also agreed to another half day or so in order to remove and replace with asphalt shingles one side of the barn. They were most careful to put up plastic tarp all around the house and did not damage any of the flowers and shrubs on three sides of the building. At the end of the day, they picked and cleaned up the entire area. There were many cars going up and down the road who slowed down to view the work, especially when the old 200+ year old roof boards were exposed and then when the new shakes were being applied. A terrific family owned company with a great work ethic, resulting in a marvelous end product.. We would definitely recommend them.

We contacted three contractors through Angie's List. Of the three, Corey responded first. His estimate was also the most complete and least expensive. He was very easy to work with: communicated by email and cell phone calls; scheduled the work quickly; provided a detailed contract; arrived promptly; worked efficiently; and cleaned up completely. We were very impressed with his personality, his business practices and his construction skills. We highly recommend him and intend to call upon him in the future.

It went very well. Corey was professional and easy to contact. His price reasonable. Scheduling and work were very good. It was also nice to support a family business. My only suggestion, is if you are having sky lights replaced, to put down tarps. I was surprised how messy it was inside.

I dealt with Corey and I can't say enough about his work ethic and professionalism. He showed up on time, performed the work efficiently and cleaned everuthing up better than most contractors.
