Company had moved its headquarters to Rhode Island from the location Angie's List provided to me. Impossible to get rug there to be cleaned.

The gentleman from New England Carpet Cleaning came as scheduled. He looked at the sofa that was to be cleaned and told me that he would not be able to make it look much - if any - better. He said that probably I would see no difference. He told me that I could get my money refunded. I appreciate his honesty in telling me that the sofa could not be cleaned instead of his doing the work and trying to persuade me that it looked better.

They did nice work and were very courteous and professional. They were neat, moved small furniture, and gave us instructions when we could step foot and use the rooms again. I'd highly recommend them.

Very punctual. I have used them before and was very pleased. He sees things (stains or whatever) that you and I would miss and focuses on those areas when cleaning. Very thorough and pleasant to talk with. My wife said one of the rugs looked brand new and they all looked and smelled great.

I purchased a Big Deal to have two carpets cleaned. They look amazing! I am thrilled at how well they came out! My carpet was larger than the deal size and badly stained with urine. I paid an extra (reasonable) charge for the size difference and stain treatment.

Very nice, prompt and efficient service. Would recommend this firm and use them in the future.

He did a very quick job. I will be using him again for my wall-to-wall carpet. I will be using him in the future.

The worker, Joe, was prompt. Apparently he is also the owner and works alone. He stated at the outset that he would not move large furniture but could reach under the beds and dressers with his equipment. He interrupted his work several times to tell us how he worked alone and how hard it was to do the job by himself. At the end of the job, the carpets were wet, not damp, and some areas took several hours to dry; he did not put the little protective covers under furniture legs after the cleaning; he also tracked cleaning solution onto our wood floors, which I had difficulty removing (discovered after he left.) One small piece of furniture was not moved at all, as I found dust on the carpet and wall next to it after he left. Over all, a mediocre job, and not worth the money we paid.

They did a good job and I would hire them again. The one person that came out was very professional and did good work. There were no issues with scheduling, either. He was very thoughtful and helpful because he recommended that we finish our hardwood floors first. I would recommend them!

I had to cancel the day of the service due to a family emergency, Joe was wonderful, told me not to worry take of my family and re-schedule when I could. I did and was very pleased with his professionalism, his work and his knowledge in trying to keep an older carpet clean! I would definitely use him again.

We used them once, and they were okay, nothing special. They did a good job, but it was left a little wetter than I liked. The service guys were pretty good.

It was a great experience all around! Joe showed up on time, went to town on the carpets, and took out stains that were there when I bought the house. the carpets, rugs, and couches came out beautifully. Great guy to talk to, very polite and professional. The price was right.

We have a townhouse with below grade Berber carpeting. Although not worn, it does need cleaning & deodorizing. It has been vacant & closed up for a few months and has developed a noticeable odor.. I called New England carpet cleaning after seeing their A review on Angie's list & explained all of this. He said he could not guarantee odor removal. I said we would be satisfied if he would clean it and we would see after the cleaning whether or not it was worth keeping or replacing. I told him I would discuss spent. After speaking with him I noticed a deal off on Angie's list. I figured for $99 it was worth having them clean and deodorize the carpet and purchased the deal He called me Monday and said he did not want to do the cleaning and obviously did not want to come to Middletown. Although his company is listed as being in Bristol he told me she is over an hour away and did not want to make the trip. He obviously just didn't want to do the job for $99!! If you're not going to honor deal offers then don't post them on Angie's List I certainly would not give him anywhere near an A today.

The original appointment Joe came to the house and assessed what needed to be done, Joe did a pre-treat that needed to time to break down some of the stains in the carpet. Joe explained all the steps in his cleaning process. Joe returned to clean the carpet the following day. Joe set up his equipment and readied the carpet for cleaning, explaining why and what he was doing. Joe also cleaned our sofa taking the same care and prep as with our carpets. Joe's attention to detail and pride in doing the best job are evident. The carpets and sofa ate the best they've looked in a long time.

They could not do the cleaning as they had an unexpected emergency.

The provider returned a few days later and my carpets turned out great. I am planning on putting Bambo hardwoods in the future but for now at least they are clean. He did an excellent job considering I had to pay extra for the added chemical to remove the stains.

Everything went really well. The carpets were in really bad shape due to age (15 years) and tenant neglect. Joe initially recommended that the carpets be replaced instead of cleaned due to how bad a shape they were in. However, after some discussion we decided to go ahead and do the cleaning. Joe cleaned up everything that he could about as well as anyone could. Joe was punctual and accommodating to my schedule and respectful to the other people living in the house. I will definitely use him again.

Joe arrived on time . He doesn't typically work on Sundays but we are moving into our new home on Monday and needed a pretty soiled wall to wall carpet cleaned properly. They had cats too. So he looked it over and decided it needed an enzyme treatment too. He told me that he would do his best job but that it was pretty bad and he couldn't guarantee perfection. I was glad for his honesty. Anyway, he went through the 4-5 step process twice and did a very thorough job. The carpet looks much better. and all is on short notice. I will be recommending him to everyone!

Joe was prompt, thorough, friendly and professional. He exceeded our expectations. The carpets look great. We will definitely use his service again in the future.

Things were excellent. I didn't know he could get out the stains. I paid $100 to $120. He was on time, even a little early, very nice, very cordial, he's a no nonsense guy and he takes the job seriously. I can't say anything bad about him.

Excellent communication. Easy transaction. Very pleasant and honest about his abilities and inability to remove certain stains. Very reasonably priced and scheduled very quickly. Arrived on time and did an excellent job.
