I can't say enough good things about Marshall Building & Remodeling. First, when I called to make an appointment for an estimate, I got a person on the phone, not an answering machine. Then when the estimate/appraisal was scheduled, and the person was running late, there was a phone call to say "I'l be 10 minutes late for our appointment." The inspection/appraisal were thorough, including showing up pictures of our roof and what needed to be done. Then we stayed in email contact after that. And while it took a few months for the roof to actually get replaced because of their workload, they came when they said they would, and they were done in a day. With no mess left in the driveway or anywhere else.

Marshall Bldg did a great job replacing our roof. It took a bit of time to schedule as they were very busy in the fall and I wasn't in a huge hurry, just wanted it done before the snow came. Job done 2nd week in December 2017, then it immediately became winter. Done just in the nick of time. They were professional and tidy, excellent quality work. A few calls from them before and during the job with minor questions and scheduling confirmations. I really appreciated the attention to customer service, as I was physically 1 1/2 hours away during the job. Dave Marshall was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend this company.

Company was excellent to deal with- very responsive from beginning to end. Their pricing was reasonable and competitive, with good suggestions offered to help with our final decisions. Installation began right on schedule, and was completed within the outlined time-frame despite inclement weather challenges. The process was painless and very professional. Work areas were kept surprisingly neat throughout. A few minor questions were quickly resolved and we were very happy with the final results.

My home was built in 1920, not by a carpenter or developer but by a man who owned the property and wanted to live by the water. The hurricane knocked it down in 1938 and he rebuilt it – according to his granddaughter – with love. That love certainly shines through but because he wasn’t a carpenter, the house is full of idiosyncrasies: Odd angles, non-level lines, windows with strange gaps around them, and the siding was something of a science project. So you can bet I was concerned that when the professionals at Marshall Building & Remodeling got a look at what they were dealing with they might also be concerned. To complicate matters, after signing the contract, I realized I needed to have the porch windows replaced – several of which were special order windows which would push the siding project back until the windows were delivered and installed (groan). Well, while Marshall may have been concerned about all of this hand holding they didn’t let on or give me a hard time at all. They worked with me every step of the way to accommodate my windows project and reschedule the siding project: They immediately put my mind at ease. Jeff, Marshall’s job scheduler told me he was going to put one of their more meticulous foremen in charge of the project to be sure it was done right. The crew was amazing. We chatted several times throughout the project about some of the various oddities of the house and how to approach them – ultimately they always brought me *solutions* and never brought me *problems*. The job wrapped up last week and I couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. Financing was a breeze, craftsmanship is top-notch, and contact with the company (including the owners) was nothing more than a phone call away. Marshall’s has recently resided my garage and I cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to do business with them. TJ, the sales rep, is an education in building, and a really fun person to talk with about no matter what!! He gave good advice about my project, a prompt estimate, and was always available for follow-up questions. Chris and Steve, who did the work, were prompt, efficient, polite and considerate and did a magnificent job. Mr Ramos, the project manager, made me feel as though all my questions were doing him a favor, and he gave me complete and patient answers. After the project was finished, I was surprised to get a call from Ann Marshall to ask if I was satisfied!! Now that’s concern for the customer!! From start to finish, Marshall’s was a true “dream team”. They will be doing my next project for sure.

we were very pleased with the quality and service and reliability of Marshall's. They called when they were unable to arrive on the original date and explained why and were right on time when the day came to do the job. We would definitely call them again if we had a need for their services and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them very highly. The price was very fair also.

The crew arrived on time and finished the job cleanly the same day. Cleaned up properly. Next day we checked and found very few nails and staples. Some questions arose during installation, but were quickly and positively resolved.

Phenomenal!! Dave, Jeff, Bill and Paul and their crews were incredible. Professional, responsive, and honest about what needed to be done and was done with the highest level of efficiency. We plan to use their services again in the future.....recommend this company. You won't be sorry!!

My husband and I would highly recommend Marshall Building & Remodeling. We replaced the vinyl siding and added trimming to the windows and doors on our home. We have received many compliments as to how nice our home looks. We were impressed with Taylor, the supervisor, when he visited us to explain how the work would be done before the work began and he visited again after the work was completed to inspect the work. We were very happy with the work Paul with his sons Eric and Matt did on the house. Paul shows his pride in his work with his attention to detail. We will call Marshall Building & Remodeling to replace a new roof in the near future.

Very pleased with the quality of work. My house looks beautiful. The crew was very knowledgeable and professional. Customer service excellent.

The estimator was professional and what they say is true. There was no pressure. I feel that the price quoted was a fair one for the job that was done. We were expecting a 4-6 week wait for the job to be done but there was an opening and the roof was done within a couple of weeks from the visit from the estimator. The crew arrived on time in the morning and began immediately. They were efficient and they worked clean. I arrived home from work just as the cleanup was concluding. The grounds were spotless and the roof looks great. At the end of the week, I was working from home when the estimator paid a visit to view the job. That same afternoon, Marshalls called me to ask if I was happy with everything. I expect that I will receive my invoice soon and I will be as prompt with payment as they were in completing the job. Excellent service all around and I would not hesitate to call them for other needs.

Awesome job!!! The workers were on time daily. Professionals at their craft!!! They were on time on budget, no problem!!!! You get what you pay for!!! If you want a job done right Marshall building is the company to call!!!

I contacted Marshall Building for a quote on a new roof. I got a response very quickly after filling out the contact form on their website. Their sales person came out and measured my roof, but failed to get back to me with a written quote. He did not provide a cost estimate on the spot. He also made some disparaging remarks about other roofers (in general, not targeting specific competitors). I wouldn't hire or recommend based on his lack of professionalism.

Hired Marshall Building & Remodeling to put up siding on our house. A1 Company. Cannot speak enough positive compliments. The job was completed on time despite weather conditions. Entire Marshall’s team was a pleasure to work with, from beginning to completion. The team was always concerned with our being totally satisfied with the results. We would recommend to anyone looking for top quality work, Marshall Building and Remodeling is the company to hire. Plan to hire them again for our next project.

The job was done exactly as it was described, they arrived at 7:30 am, began stripping the old roof and had the entire job done by 4:00 that afternoon. Excellent Job.

Estimate was high, but we went with them on reputation. It took longer to get them started than originally led to believe. There were too many people to deal with between sales, management, foreman and lead roofer and communication suffered. The job was a bit sloppy. One worker put nails in wrong places, covering the exposed nails with patches and silicone type sealant. Some cut shingles did not fit well, leaving small gaps in some places and some slight overlaps in others causing some buckling of the shingles. Some cuts left the shingles with small strips, some of which broke off. There was a raised portion in the .middle of the garage roof, where the workers didn't notice that the board was severely warped. Stove pipe hardware wasn't put back correctly and some hardware was left loose. There were other issues with things needing sealant. They were very responsive to my issues, coming back three times to fix problems. They said that the buckled shingles would lay flat once the heat gets to them, however that hasn't happened yet. The bottom line is their workers may have been having a bad day and the roof isn't leaking. I was hoping for something more worry-free for the price.

Wonderful experience. You would think that as a person who works from home, I couldn’t possibly say that with everything that goes into a job that includes roofing, siding, gutters and windows, but it’s true. There were two crews: one for the roofing and one for the windows/siding/gutters. The roofing crew showed up at 7:30 and by 3:45 they were finishing up the job. The next week Sean and his team started the rest of the work. They were friendly and respectful, efficient, precise and so good at what they do that it’s more like craftsmanship. Every day I received an update on what was planned for that day. At the end of the day another update on tomorrow as they completely cleaned up the days’ work. Communication was excellent. No question was too silly, no concern too small. John Marshall had originally come out to do the estimate and review the materials that would be used for the project and Marshall’s delivered as promised, including the final invoice which matched the estimate. My house is transformed. Thank you Marshall’s.

John & his crew went above and beyond my expectations. When they said they would be here they were on time and stayed until it got dark before they called it 'done' for the day.

They did not tell me,some debris could get into the garage. I had stuff all over the garage made one **** of a mess. said they would do a walk around with me after the project was finished never did it. The job was jobbed out to someone else and not one spoke English to answer my questions. it looks great and I have the warranty. The office staff answered all my questions and always where they had to answer my questions .

We had more than a bit of anxiety in choosing a roofing contractor, because as homeowners we had to trust them with a large, complex job for a substantial amount of money. The criteria we used involved the number of years Marshall Builders have been in business, and that they would not require any payment until we were happy with the finished project. Done AND done! We received a fast, free estimate. They stuck to the estimate to the penny. The crew was punctual and efficient, with a top-notch clean-up. And though we're not sure how they accomplished it, Marshalls even arranged a heavy rainfall the day after they finished! There followed several checks by the staff to ensure our satisfaction, as well. We would definitely use Marshall Builders again for any contracting need on our house, big or small.

From the original estimate meeting, to the completion of the job, we were Extremely satisfied. They were professional, thorough, and efficient. We found them on Angie's List, liked the reviews, and especially their "no deposit down" policy. We did have to pay a dime, until the job was completed, and we were satisfied.
