Very well. Arrived a little early and when done everything was cleaned up like they were never there. Came and told me they were done and dumpster would be picked up following day. Crew was very professional and efficient. Would definitely hire again for other work.

They were very professional from start to finish. The sales rep explained everything clearly. The windows came in early and were installed promptly. When I returned home on the evening of the installation, I couldn’t tell anyone had been in my house, except for the fact that I had new windows. The cleanup was flawless, and the windows were perfectly installed. I would definitely hire again.

This was completed with ease. The workers were professional and polite. Every evening there work was picked up and neat. They had great workmanship. Would highly recommend. Thank you Alex Denis and Vesalli

TLDR; Marshall Building does great work and genuinely cares about providing quality service to their customers. I had Marshall Building re-do the siding on my house. This was a large job: 3500+ sqft of siding, multiple levels, and new gutters with installed gutter guards. Given the size and cost of the project I put the bid out to 7 companies. Their quote came in the middle of the pack. You are not getting the price you would from a guy with a truck…but also they have the warranties and clout to back up their price. The co-founder Dave Marshall is the one who came to inspect the house and provide the quote. He was very knowledgeable, answered my questions plainly, and while definitely a salesman, he didn’t try to keep up-selling me. The two major reasons I chose Marshall over the other six companies: 1) They have the expertise to ensure a great final product and warranties to back them up and 2) The genuinely care about providing quality service. There did end up being a miscommunication with the job. I had specifically requested that a Tyvek Vapor Barrier be placed over the existing siding, then a 3/8” foam board, then the new vinyl siding. I was warned that this would result in some aesthetic problems, but I was stubborn and wanted it. I’m a function over form kind of person. When the work started, I didn’t think to check that they used the extra layer of foam board. It turns out they did not. I was livid. I wrote an email trying to get an answer as to why. Shortly, I received emails and calls from both the project manager Taylor and the co-founder Dave. They apologized for the miscommunication, promised to track down how it happened and ensure policy fixes would be made to make sure it didn’t happen again, they were even willing to strip the siding and re-do the job as I wanted. But they also explained that there was no functional benefit for the foam in my case, and that not only would it result in aesthetic issues (sunken windows, etc.) it would reduce some of the functional aspects of the siding (water tightness due to artificially inflating the size of the channels needed to cover the extra 3/8”. Etc.). Doing independent research, they were right. Going over smooth existing wood siding, it is better to just have the vapor barrier. I just wanted the foam panels because one of the other company’s sales person told me how invaluable they were. And the job came out great. Pictures attached. But what really what compelled me to write this review is how they handled our miscommunication. By all objective accounts, I was in the wrong. I wanted something that was not in the best interest of my house. And I was a bit of a jerk about it. But they were quick to respond, there was no passing me off to someone else to have me repeat my complaint, I was met with sincere empathy that I was not happy and a willingness to find a resolution. All the while maintaining an integrity of ensuring that I receive a quality product. So if you want quality service, Marshall Building is the way to go.

Estimate was detailed. Work was scheduled earlier than expected, but the materials, dumpster and workers arrived at expected early time and completed a mountain of work in a single day. Trim was completed 2 days later and dumpster removed with all surrounding area clean, free of nails or any debris. Very professional with good communication to all regarding asked for and explained work to be completed.

We have owned our home for 7 years. In that time Marshalls has replaced 11 windows and our roof. Each time we contract with Marshalls for work we are repeatedly blown away by the quality of the work and the professional demeanor of all their employees. This company is without equal in the home renovation arena. They refuse upfront payment until they are done with their work and the customer is satisfied. The crews doing the actual work are extremely competent in their skills are pleasant and extremely clean. From the office receptionist to the guy with the hammer the are a solid professional company I do not hesitate to recommend this company absolute first rate they will be returning to my home for more renovations in the future...i wont accept anyone else.

We had a great experience with Marshall's! Everyone was very professional, from the Sales Rep, Office Staff ,to the Installation Crew. The project was completed on time with great workmanship! I would definitely recommend this company!

They never responded to two requests for proposal. Are they still in business?

They were competent, professional, punctual and experts in what they do.

Work involved removing existing storm door, removing and replacing framework and threshold, installation of new exterior door and re-installation of storm door. Installer was friendly and professional. Service was excellent.

They have done an excellent job. The work they did in the 80s has shown no problems. I would highly recommend them.

The experience was excellent from beginning to end. They showed up when they said they would. In fact, I was not scheduled to have the work done until mid-August because they had a full schedule. They called me mid-July and asked if I would like to get it done sooner because they had an opening. They got it done that same week. It looks great! I am so happy with the results. They are the absolute best company I have ever dealt with. They are a family owned business and it is clear that they really care about making their customers happy. They put just as much care in the follow-up after the work was done as they did before they even knew they were getting the job. I wish all companies were like that. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company!

We met with several companies before choosing Marshall. Marshall didn't use high-pressure sales tactics. They told us what they had to offer, put it in writing, then let us decide when we were ready....And they didn't nag us with follow-up phone calls. Their no deposit, no payment until done policy provided us with great peace-of-mind. They were very easy to communicate with and kept us posted. It's been nearly a year and we're still pleased with the job they did. Quality product. Quality work. No regrets.

Wonderful company, pleasure to do business with. Andrew was prompt in a quote and answering all questions. Replaced 10 windows in a 3 family home. Company worked around difficult tenants with ease. Work was completed on time as promised, installers followed “clean as you go”. Utility bills have drastically reduced upon installation of recommmened windows. Marshall Co. did not bill until they ensured I was completely satifised. I even called to follow up on billing! I am impressed, I will most definitely be using them for replacing the remainder of my windows!

Work was completed quickly, and the roof looks great. We had a problem with the roof between signing for the repairs, and the date the work was to be done. Marshall quickly provided support - took care of the problem right away.

After 4 visits by three different associate's, Marshalls decided not to do the job. One of the owners said they were uncomfortable with the project because it was outside their swim lane.

From start to finish everything was done beyond expectations.We called many Roofing Companies and Marshall's was the only company that actually returned our phone call and physically showed up at the property to provide a estimate. John was very friendly and explained the whole process in detail which made us feel at ease with a project of this magnitude. The Guys showed up the in the morning to start the project as did John and they made sure everything was covered and moved away from the work area.The Guys worked very hard all day long and when they were done everything was cleaned and put back like it was never moved.They even swept the walkways and driveway before they left. We couldn't be happier with the results that Marshall's provided we wouldn't hesitate to call them in the future.

Workers were very professional and did the work promptly. They showed up on time and went right to work. They cleaned up each day and disposed of all the waste. Marshall Building took care of the Building Permit and I didn't pay a dime till all the work was done. They even sent me a self addressed stamped envelope with the invoice, to mail back my payment. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent workmanship, no stress, at a reasonable price.

It's disappointing that I never got a quote. I followed up with company and was again promised a quote that never materialized. I would not use them.

From the original consultation until the final piece of trim was installed the Marshall crew was professional in every aspect. Shawn and his crew were amazing. Outstanding work ethic and workmanship. We were extremely satisfied and would hire Marshall again in a heartbeat. No need to look anywhere else ever again for our carpentry needs.

They were professional, courteous & attentively addressed our needs. It couldn't have gone smoother. Showed up at scheduled time and completed the job in two days as promised. When I returned from work there was no evidence they were even in my home, except for the beautiful Harvey windows. I am so satisfied that I'll be having them do the siding on my home as well. The contractors rep came out and was on time. He talked a good talk and took up lots of my time. Left a nice brochure. Never heard from them again. I even emailed asking what happened to the quote that was promised. Still never heard back A waste of my time. Approximate Cost of Service: 18,000.00
