Other than misspelling my address and suffering weather delays, the experience was excellent! We hired them based on their positive AL reviews. On time, on budget (lowest priced), and meticulous. Could not ask for more!

It went well. Crew of 7 or 8 men and women worked from 7:30 - 5 and completed in a day. Had to have 4 large bagsters on my front yard for 4 days but driveway too narrow for a dumpster. Front screen was ripped but Andy said they would get it repaired which they did within a few days.

We have had 4 major upgrades with different companies to our property. Marshall's was the very best company we dealt with. On time, reasonably priced, listened to & addressed our concerns. Personnel great to deal with!

They reported on time. Did a great job. Have used them in the past with great results. Clean up after completion was not as good as it has been for last projects, but overall a great experience. Job was done very much to my satisfaction.

Arrived on time on date agreed upon. All workers were diligent and kept working until job the was finished. I was a little leery about replacing a 60 yr old picture window but the job went flawlessly. The windows were all caulked inside and out. There was one window that had a problem and it has been ordered and will be replaced at no cost. They cleaned up after themselves and took all old window materials and even vacuumed inside after the job was done. Sean came back the next day as promised to finish the trim on the picture window as it was very dark when they left the first day. The weather had turned sharply colder but there was Sean working in the biting cold to finish the trim. So dedicated. My interactions with Dave Marshall were wonderful. From the time I first met him to the final estimate he answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable assuring the job would be done in one day and correctly. I LOVE my new triple pane windows and the service I received. It made for a warmer winter this year! I'll be contacting them again soon for more work I need done! In one word 'FANTASTIC' !

We were very happy. The company made us very comfortable throughout the bidding and selection process and educated us on the particulars of roof replacement. They were also very helpful in terms of deciding on color - a trickier process than we realized. Additionally, during installation we realized we would lose directv service and we briefly panicked as Ohio St was about to play in and win the national championship. (I'm from Ohio.) We talked it over with John Marshall and he graciously agreed to leave that section of the roof untouched until after game day. They came back a couple of days later to finish up. We did not even have to request this accommodation but we were very thankful. They truly went above and beyond our expectations and we would strongly recommend this company to all. Lastly, john even voluntarily checked up on our house during the recent snowstorms to make sure everything was okay.

It went very well. I had met with Andy Marshall about price and financing. He was extremely helpful. The roof was installed in half a day.The men cleaned up everything and left the yard very close to perfect.

Installers were very efficient price charged was reasonable.

Minor scheduling problem, but once started, entire process went flawlessly. Would use Marshall Building & Remodeling again.

From the beginning we encountered nothing but professionalism. John came to give us an estimate on our roof which was our number 1 priority. My husband and I inquired about windows and siding during that visit as well. John was very honest with us and said that our siding was fine and that he would suggest we wait on the siding. This was the moment I knew that I wanted to work with this company. Our roof was the first job to be completed, a crew came while my husband and I were at work and the job was done by the time that I got home around 3. I was initially nervous about the clean up because I have two dogs and I was scared that material and nails might be left in the yard for them to step in, but the clean up was great. Next were our windows, we had 9 windows to be put in. They arrived around 8:30 and were done by 12ish. Again, they were very professional and did a great job. Overall, this company was very accommodating and tried to work with our schedules the best that they could. Everyone was great to work with, including the receptionist. The quality of the materials used is top notch and the cost is very reasonable (we paid less for our roof and windows than another big named company quoted us for just our roof!) I would without a doubt work with Marshall home remodeling again in the future.

Dave Marshall came out to measure and quote. Window was ordered with NO deposit. Bob came with and installed the window in about 4 hours - GREAT JOB.

Dave Marshall visited to estimate the job. He explained our options and gave great advice on materials and his companies policies. The job was scheduled and started in a timely manner. The crew was professional & hard working. The results are excellent. Marshall's no money down and no payment until satisfied policy is so uncommon today, a true testament to the confidence they have in their workmanship and high level of service. Overall, an excellent experience and a great value. I would not hesitate to recommend Marshall Building & Remodeling to friends and will hire them again if I need further home improvements in the future.

My house was built in 1930 and has the idiosyncrasies that are typical in the that time period's construction techniques. I met with 2 members of the Marshalls- Tom and Andy on 2 separate occasions- one for windows and the second for the rest of the exterior of the house. They both are very personable, knowledgeable and professional as well as a 'no pressure' in regards to their quote and follow-ups. Their quotes were well below their competitors. After signing the contracts (the first contract was for windows and the second was for the remaining work), we set up a preliminary schedule about 10 to 12 weeks out. I was contacted at the appropiate time and work commensed. All their (sub) contractors were very good about letting me know when and where they were going to be working. The first part of the project was replacing old single pane windows and exterior storms with tripled glazed replacements . There were unseen issues with the windows in the house. Once the installer (who was excellent) got into the groove he replaced 20 windows in 3 days. Two more days were required for putting in windows in the porch that required some carpentry and installing the exterior door. (What an amazing difference the windows made on the porch). The windows and door have already made a huge difference to the house. Not only in appearance inside and out but also in temperature and noise. The roof (30 year architectural) was installed in one day. They even replaced the old flashing. We've had several large storms and there have been no issues. The siding, trim and gutters were the last and longest time project; approximately 7 days. They removed the old siding installed insulation over the preexisting insulation. The metal trim work they made for surrounding the windows was outstanding. There was an issue concerning reinstalling the pseudo 'helmet guard' on the new gutters. They installed their version of the leaf guard on the new gutters and it's even better than the old ones. All the contractors cleaned up after themselves and no damage was done to the property. Tom contacted me a few weeks after all the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. Having dealt with a variety of contractors over the last decade for many projects both residential and commercial I can assure you that Marshall is hands down the best contractors I have had the pleasure to work with. I can't stress enough at how pleasurable it was to work with people that cared about their craftsmanship and their reputation and would go the extra mile to make sure the work was done properly. I have a strong feeling I will be using their services in the future for some interior work that I would like to have done.

It went excellent. They took no money up front and waited until we were satisfied. Great people, very polite. On time and no shotty work.

From day one Dave was very professional and easy to work with. We had significant rot due to failing gutters and leaky windows. Dave and his team did a wonderful job working within our budget and giving us piece of mind once we discovered all the rotted wood. Our only minor complaint was we wished they were cleaner when they stripped the siding off. I am still finding shingle pieces in my landscaping. However, we are very happy with the final product and get complements all the time. I would not hesitate in hiring them again!

Bob did a great job. He had done on excellent with my basement windows. I knew my home window would be as beautifully done.

Dave came out to assess a roofing job for us. He was extremely professional and called before arriving to let me know he would be running late. He spent the better part of an hour explaining the roofing process to me in a way I could understand. He pointed out that we didn't necessarily need a new roof, but guaranteed to stand by his company's work and the installation job they would do. We just finished another costly renovation, so we couldn't move forward based on his quote, but if anyone is in the market for a new roof and has the money to spend, I would highly recommend they consider Marshall Building and the peace of mind they would bring to the job.

The project was great they had just completed a significant renovation job on our home so I knew what I was getting already but they never cease to amaze me as far as their concern for detail and customer satisfaction. The garage is 24 X 30 with an L shaped 8' over hang on two sides, no small job. They had the thing framed and roofed and sided in 9 days. And again the job is perfect. Thanks guys for all your work and extra effort to give us what we really wanted.

He was a little late to the appointment, but he called a half of an hour ahead of time to let me know. He did arrive within fifteen minutes of the original time. When Andrew Marshall came out, we discussed the basic roof and how we have been having a leaking issue around a window at the roof line with heavy rain. He spent about twenty minutes looking around and diagnosing. He provided a written estimate by email within a week. We are gong to hire them for the job, but have yet to schedule the date.

These guys are awesome. We did not find them as a result of Angies list however when I found out they were on it, after the positive experiences I had with them. I could not wait to get the chance to tell anyone who would listen to how good they are. I sat down with John Marshall on numerous occasions before the job started and ironed out the details of the project. He had plenty of pictures of previous jobs to look at both for quality and to give design ideas. He was a true professional and was very concerned with making sure my wife and I got exactly what we wanted, they do not come more detail oriented than John. He went over all the possible concerns we had and we finally sat down and signed a contract for a price that was very fair. His crew was top shelf. They started on time and were amazing to watch. They demolished a second floor and roof, built a new truss roof which involved some mason work to reattach to the existing chimney. They completely re-sided the entire house in cedar impression all new windows and doors and replaced a deck with composite in 12 days and I dare any contractor to look over the work and find a flaw. We were so impressed with their work that my next project which is a two stall garage is going to them and I can't wait to see that project completed. I'm sure it will be as great as the house was.

Roof on house was more than 20 years old and was nearing the end of its life. Same for the cedar shingles on the north side of the house. Marshall's "older crew" came in and stripped off the old roof as well as the cedar shingles. New roof and shingles were installed professionally and efficiently. The crew members were always courteous and friendly throughout the project.

started on date stated, team was always on time, work efficiently, friendly but not overlysteay pace. cleaned up after themselves every day. One mistake that was made was that they put a more expensive shingle on the wrong side of the house - they made good on the error and were quick to order more of the expensive shilgles so the job could be conplete - at no extra expense to the customer. This error was caused on part of the person quoting and planning out the project NOT the leam leader or crew. The project leader took extra time to build out a special front door frame area so it would match the old one that was there but had rotted away. Months later we were still receiving comments about how great our house looked.
