Description of Work: My elderly Aunt had a pipe burst in a tenants apartment that flooded the 2 floors below and much of her personal living space, which requiring a near total restoration of each of the ceiling and floor structures. Based on Angie's List reviews I selected 3 contractors and asked them to contact me, as my Aunt is not accustomed to dealing with contractors. I made it clear that I was calling from out of state on bwehalf of my Aunt, but could travel to Providence if necessary. Mr. Veader was the only contractor to show up to my Aunt's house in a timely fashion and call me with details of what he found and what he would do if he got the job. My Aunt found Mr. Veader to extremely courteous, engaging and helpful. His work crew was timely, neat and clean. The work was completed in a timely fashion and exceeded expectation. There was no need for me to travel to Providence. Anyone who hires Ocean State and Mr. Veader should expect a similar performance.

Description of Work: Our shower was a mess. The tile on the bottom all came loose and there was a great deal of mold and wasn't draining properly because the previous plumber gave it an incorrect pitch. The upper walls had vitrolite tile, popular over 50 years ago, and several of the tiles had come off. George offered us a reasonable alternative to a complete fix. The job he did was fabulous. We need more work done, and he's the man. I can't recommend him highly enough. He was neat, fast, professional and personable.

Description of Work: We originally found George Veader of Ocean State Property Services with the help of Angie's List. We contracted with him to completely remodel our (main) bathroom. This involved ripping out the existing bathroom down to studs. The original "footprint" of the room was maintained but all the fixtures were replaced except for the toilet which was only 3 years old. Although our home was built in 1975/6, all of the walls and especially the floor required extensive attention in order to line everything up, so we ended up with a "squared" room. And, thanks to George, we resolved a couple of issues that had been aggravating us. Although I did the electrical work and painting, because of my experience, and to save money, George was very cooperative and helpful with suggestions about selection and placement of the various components. He was very easy to work with, and willing to fairly negotiate any of the issues that came up. Our new bathroom came out beautiful and we are really enjoying it! Thanks to George! Description of Work: A friend recommended George to me. He was excellent. I need my bathroom remodeled and I needed ideas. He came in gave me several options and a reasonable price. He finished the job on time and underbudget. George has a lifelong customer in me.

Description of Work: My roof was leaking, and I had wanted an addition put onto my house. So I hired George to replace my roof, installing a ridge vent, and add an addition to my house of 500 sq. feet. Initially, George came over and patched my roof so that the remaining May rains would not damage my house. George returned one month later and in consultation with my architect, devised a brilliant remodel for my growing family. The remodel required up-to-code electrical plumbing and carpentry. George worked tirelessly on the project, one time even showing up on Sunday before the birth of our new baby! I would happy to use George again.

Description of Work: I contacted George P. Veader at OSPS on the recommendation of a friend who emphatically encouraged me to call George. My kitchen was in extreme disrepair-leaky faucets, outdated appliances, worn-out cabinets. I had contacted several kitchen renovators who all gave me quotes that seemed just too high. Not only did George give me a fair price, but his work far exceeded my expectations.
