George and his team did a fantastic job. He was on time and very responsive, very fair and honest. I will defintiely use them again would highly recommend them.

I first contacted George after flooding to get an estimate on replacing my basement floor. He came out within an hour and got back to me with an estimate. I decided to hold off on getting the floor replaced, but gave him a list of other things I needed done. He took time to look at every one and gave me an estimate. When I contacted him to come out, he said he was booked for 2 months but because it was hot and I needed the a/c installed right away, he took time on the weekend to help me out and charged me a really reasonable price. He has been fantastic, very professional and helpful, going above and beyond. I will definitely contact him for other handyman/home improvement needs and highly recommend him.

Fantastic. George is terrific- competent, professional, and even though it was a small job, he went above and beyond to do an excellent job... he even returned the following week to help me hang the curtains on the curtain rod he put up because I had not ordered enough curtain rings, so we couldn't hang them the day he was over... He also recommended a cabinet maker to help us with a built-in project we were looking to do- we used his recommendation and were very happy with that person's work too. I highly recommend George and Ocean State Property Services...

Everything turned out excellent. They were good young men, hard working, and neat. I would use them again if needed.

George was professional, competent and fair. He provided an estimate following an initial inspection. His team was well organized, orchestrated a total job completion and left the area spotless. The team was very careful with items and protected the areas of the house that required traffic to/from the basement. I totally commend their work and recommend Ocean State Property Services!

We had to get estimates and put in a claim to our homeowner's insurance company regarding a water stain/damage to the ceiling in the kitchen. OSPS was very flexible, as I didn't have to take time out of work to be at home to have the work done. The owner of OSPS was onsite at least 4 or 5 times to check the progress and call periodically while the work was being done to check the status. It took 3 days to replace our kitchen ceiling and bathroom ceiling and everything was cleaned up well and all debris removed properly.

George's estimate was the lowest of all three that we got, and we wondered whether his quality would suffer as a result-- but he got such good reviews on Angie's list that we decided to take a chance, and are very glad that we did. George did a lot of the work himself (carpentry, painting, tiling) with his crew of up to 6 men whom he supervised very closely, and he also sub-contracted jobs that required special expertise (floor refinishing, wallpapering, complex electrical, etc.) We started with a kitchen remodeling job, but because our kitchen has an open floor plan flowing into the dining room and living room, we had to refinish the flooring in much of the house. An additional complication was that there was a slant in our kitchen floor. Various contractors had given us different suggestions regarding how to handle this, with the consensus being that the only way to tell what was causing the problem was to tear down to the sub-flooring, which could be quite labor-intensive and not necessary. They also said that their estimate could change if the job required extensive floor repair. So we were impressed and appreciative that George tore down to the sub-floor, repaired some structural damage in the beams below the floor, gave us a level floor, and took it all in stride within his original estimate. As the work progressed, we decided to change some additional items beyond those in the original contract (switch from electric to gas stove, add ceiling fans, etc.), and paint the rest of the interior of the house. George's price for these was also reasonable, so we didn't bother getting additional estimates. We also asked George to take a look at an area in the roof where we thought squirrels were entering. We thought this would be a small repair, but as he opened it up we could see that a major section of the roof had rotted out due to extensive animal and rain damage! This turned out to be a major job, involving our homeowners insurance, which George took in stride, and again at a reasonable cost. In the end, we have remodeled much of the interior of our house and we have a new section of roof, and although we spent more than we had originally intended, we are very pleased with the work and feel it was well worth it. We feel like we live in a brand new house!

George and his team were excellent. George has an unprecedented attention to detail and takes pride in his work. He called me after the project was done to find out what we thought of the final product. The team cleaned up at the end of every day so that it didn't even appear that major work was being done in the kitchen. We enjoyed George's laid back but meticulous style. Very easy to work with.

Very professional. If planning on moving or updating, George can stear you in the right direction. He knows what to recommend in order to bring out the best in your home. Quick response and good follow-up. Did not actually have him perform any services, but would hazzard a guess he would do a good job.

The day they arrived to start the project I had to leave on an emergency and was gone during the whole project. Gave them the keys and they would call if any changes needed to be made. When I returned it was completely done to perfection. Trustworthy, great attention to detail, completed project in record time, very fair pricing for quality work.

Overall the work was performed at a much higher level than expected. From start to finish his work is unparalleled. I would not hesitate to hire George for any of the interior or exterior work on my house. From electrical to plumbing to carpentry to painting, George can get the work done on time and on budget. He is the real deal.
