C&J Construction was great! Chris responded to all emails in a timely fashion, was prompt showing up for the job, and completed it ahead of time. His team was friendly, professional and hard-working. They did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards, which was much appreciated! I will definitely recommend C&J Construction to my friends and acquaintances!

Chris and his crew arrived promptly at 7am. They began working right away. Chris assured me that the work would be completed by early afternoon. Upon returning from work at 1:30pm , the roof was complete and the yard was clean. Chris walked me around the house to explain what was done and asked if I was pleased with the job and to answer any questions that I might have. I can't tell you how pleased I am with the results. There have been several storms since and there have not been any issues with the roof. Chris and his crew were very professional and courteous, and I have even referred him to friends who needed work done on their house. I have some upcoming projects around the house and Chris will be my first phone call.

I was very happy with this job from start to finish. Chris's bid was very competitive and he was extremely professional, courteous, and responsive. He clearly outlined my options and his suggestions for the project, as well as the materials, costs, and warranties. His communication was proactive and clear throughout the rest of the project-- regarding his start date, the potential impact of weather during the job, and other points along the process. His crew was also very polite and professional and the job was done quickly. They stripped my roof, checked for water damage, installed protection where I previously had ice dams, and installed a new roof. The cleanup was meticulous and the yard was immaculate-- they went as far as to pick up some windblown leaves in my driveway. The roof looks great, the price was right, and it was a very pleasant transaction. Highly recommend.

Chris is very professional and one of the most prompt contractors I've worked with. He replaced an old skylight that was leaking. He replaced the shingles around the area and matched it like nothing was ever removed. It was also perfect timing because he fixed it right before we got hit with the 1st nor'easter of 2018. No more leaks and I would definitely hire him and his team again because they were professional, timely, and reasonably priced. Thanks again for your help getting the work done!

We first contacted Chris early in the year, and he responded very fast. He came out the next day for a free estimate. With us being a first time homeowner, he thoroughly explained everything and what needed to be done for our roofing project. We were not able to pursue our project right away as we compared quotes from other roofing companies. We contacted Chris again early November 2017, when we were ready and from our research, C&J Construction had the best pricing, great quality materials, and to top it off Chris is a certified CertainTeed Installer! Chris was very responsive and professional, he gave us time frames that would work for us with our busy schedules, and he ensured the job would be done before the harshness of winter. They came out on the promised date, finished the job earlier than expected, and cleaned up very well. We definitely recommend C&J Construction for your roofing needs. Excellent. Great communication before and during. Very responsive to follow up questions before decision to hire. Work crew showed up on time and went to work promptly. You could tell instantly they were well organized and everyone knew what they were to do. Cleaned up after and walked trough all details of what was done as had been indicated in job order. Completed in one day. No leaks, no problems and roof looks great.

This is the 2nd time I'm using this company and both times, the job went extremely smooth. They were in an out in a day on the first job and 2 days this new job. Before the start of the job, Chris thought that I might have to put plywood on the roof and verified that beforehand so there would be no lag time in getting the materials to the job site and getting the work done. He's got a wonderfully efficient company and when the job was done, the property was cleaned up nicely. You would never know any work had been done. Nice job Chris! Thank you for a job well done.

Chris was exceptionally responsive from the very start of the process and continued to be until the end. His crew was hard working and did a great job cleaning up. Chris came several times throughout the day to check on progress and then spent an hour at the end of the day, to make sure everything had been done properly and to personally do some additional clean up.

Chris (the owner) was excellent from the quote all the way through the project. He stripped off 3+ layers down to the deck. Installed new sheathing due to the old boards that were under the shingles. This roof still had the original cedar shake roof (130+ years old) under a few layers of asphalt shingles. While he was onsite we took care of additional work that we decided to include. His crew of guys works 12+ hours two days in a row to get the job completed. It was a large job but they handled it with ease.I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable company that stands behind their work. After the job was completed his foreman Tony had our yard looking better than when we started. Their cleanup effort was top notch.

I very easily scheduled a date of repair with Chris within 5 days. Dumpster and materials were dropped off the day before, Chris and his crew showed up at 7am as expected. Had some unexpected and costly issues come up with the roof, but Chris was thorough in explaining everything and updated me with texts and photos throughout the day. Despite the unexpected repairs, his crew was able to still finish the job by dinner time. I highly recommend C & J Construction to anyone and have.

Excellent job. Very Happy. I previously was told my fascia was rotted when I had repairs done to my gutters. Chris inspected fascia and informed my that it was never secured properly. Neither were my gutters. I expected to have to replace all fascia and Chris save me $$ by not having to. My property was left cleaner than when they arrived. Thank you!

It went great....from the initial meeting with Chris to get a quote, to the end of the job! Chris was very professional, and thorough when we first met with him. We were very impressed with the fact that he explained the entire process in detail and answered all of our questions. His price was extremely fair - (priced lower than the bigger companies), and based on my 71 year-old father's extensive knowledge of roofing, Chris's price was exactly what my father had anticipated. Our materials and dumpster were delivered the day before the install. Chris & his crew showed up on time, and within 20 minutes of arriving, had our entire roof stripped (three layers!). We were extremely impressed by how quickly our roof was completed, and how professional and neat he and his crew were. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Chris and his team were excellent! They showed up on time and worked hard. The finished roofs look fantastic. I would absolutely hire them again. The best thing I can say about Chris is he is the only roofer of the many I got quotes from to take the time to explain the entire process, start to finish, to me. He had samples of the materials he uses and explained what they were for and why he used those products.

C and J Construction did an excellent job reroofing my home. I had six companies give proposals over about a 6 week period. Chris’s (C and J's) proposal was the first one I received, and the best one: it was the most detailed, professional, and the price was highly competitive. And his work was outstanding. Unlike most roofers, for example, C and J installed 6 ft (not the usual 3 ft) of ice and water shield all around the house. Chris’s crew was professional, efficient, and well trained. In the end, my roof was expertly re-shingled, and my yard looked better than at the start of the job. I highly recommend this company. When a job goes this well, you want to tell others about it. This was my best experience yet with a contractor. C and J Construction is honest, professional, and extremely skillful. Highly recommended.

Chris did an amazing job - he explained why the work was necessary, documented with photos and came to address the issue promptly. He was very transparent about the repair process and the work (visible from the exterior) was done neatly and effectively. He also provided a contract and warranty good for 10 years. Cannot rate highly enough.

One of the best experiences working with a contractor I've ever had. Chris met me at my house and went over everything that was going to be done, from laying down tarps to cleanup. They were at my house at 7;30 and gone by the time I got home at 5 and the place was spotless....they even carried in my garbage cans from the front.The price was exactly as quoted and the next day I noticed they even patched a couple of places on the vinyl siding that were cracked. No charge. I've been asking around to all my friend if they need a roof just so I can recommend Chris & crew.

Chris came quickly to quote me but when he came to start the job, he realized that the leak was not roofing or flashing related so he didn't charge me and recommended that I consult a mason to repair the chimney. I found Chris very honest, he could have just done the job but instead he gave me good advise and left without charging me.
