Chris and his crew were very professional. Chris was extremely accessible between phone calls and text messages. Chris and his crew showed up on time and were very efficient. I had to leave for work while the roof was still being replaced. When I returned home that night, you wouldn’t have known anyone was there. Chris took pictures while replacing the roof and provided them to me as the job progressed. I have had two neighbors already comment that my roof looks great and that they couldn’t believe how fast and neat the job was done. I would and will highly recommend Chris and his crew to family and friends.

Our house had two layers of old shingles probably dating back to the original construction in the late 50's which needed replacement. There was also some preexisting flashing repair around the chimney that was done incorrectly causing a leak into the attic. C & J Construction came in on a Thursday afternoon stripped and removed the two existing layers and put on the new roof in a two days. New roof looks great and is perfectly functional, no more leak. C & J Construction was honest and professional. We are very happy with the work and look and would highly recommend C & J Construction to family and friends.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Chris is very organized, knowledgeable, and totally on the ball. He and his crew showed up on time and cleaned up completely after themselves. Chris helped me deal with the insurance company and I'm sure he is the reason that they approved my entire claim. OMG, Chris and his crew are amazing! We had to have both the garage roof redone with repairs due to a tree that caused damage and had to replace the entire old roof on the main house (duplex) and cover a skylight. Chris is extremely professional and straight-forward. He responds quickly and gets the work done in a timely manner. He lays everything out in advance and gives you a detailed list of everything that needs to be done with cost breakdown. I thought the work done was fantastic and at a very fair price. He also gave us progress photos, before and after and some aerial footage as well. Overall an incredible experience working with C & J. I would hire them again in a heart-beat. Job well done!! Met with Chris from C & J Construction to get a quote. Had a highly professional presentation, which included aerial images of the house to calculate square footage. He covered their entire process from getting the materials to the cleanup, and had promotional materials on the shingles, underlayment, edging, etc. Materials were delivered a couple of days prior to job. Day of job crew showed up early. They were very efficient and the whole crew has the roofing process down pat. They completed the the entire job, including cleanup, in just over 5 hours. Would definitely hire them again.

A fair price for a great job. Chris thoroughly explained the work and supplies that would be required, including reasons and options. He provided documentation on the products he'd be using as well as an extensive references list. His Scope of Work and proposal were as detailed as though he were teaching a class. Once the weather cooperated, we set a date. They arrived exactly when promised and got right to work. Every one of his employees was polite, respectful, and hard-working. They finished the job sooner than Chris estimated. And they had great music playing while they worked. I highly recommend Chris and his company. I will be using them when it's time to work on the rest of the roof.

C&J Construction is an A+++ company! The owner, Chris, and his team are true professionals! Every night they cleaned the entire work site to perfection! This is a company that others could truly learn from. They arrived on time each day, and Chris provided detailed specifications of the work to be performed. I’m a type A individual, and I like Chris’s thorough communication skills. There were no surprises whatsoever. They did everything that they stated they would do. I was never interrupted or bothered while they worked, and my job was a big one as I had multiple structures having work performed. You’ll be most pleased hiring this company!

Chris and his team did an excellent job! He was reasonably priced and did quality work. Chris is an excellent communicator, too. I knew when to expect him and he delivered as promised. I asked him if he could clean my gutters while he was up on my roof and he did. I then hired him to install Sureflo gutter guards. I highly recommend C&J ! Thank you, Chris.

Chris has his act together. I have a Queen Anne Victorian with a tricky roof. He came promptly and when he said he would, gave me an estimate, and gave me a rough idea of when he could do the work. He texted me with regular updates. Our first attempt at scheduling was hampered by weather, but he was in touch promptly to reschedule. On the second attempt the weather cooperated and Chris was right on time. The work was done promptly and he left the area spotless when he was done. He even followed up with a text to make sure I was happy. I would definitely use Chris again.

I received his contact information from someone who was installing windows for me. I contacted once, said he would call back to set up a date for an estimate. He never called. I called again and set up a date. He never called or showed. I went here, on Angie's List, picked three businesses. I received a text message apologizing for missing the appointment and wondered if I was available that day. I said yes 9:30 to 10:30 asked if it was good for him. Still haven't heard a word. This is all I know about this man and company. I just wanted to make people aware that he doesn't always come thru.

I cannot praise Chris Jackson and is crew enough for their professionalism and quality of work done. From the initial telephone call and emails received to the completed job, it was an exceptional experience. I would recommend again and again.

Chris is the best: responsive, knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, and honest. He and his crew did amazing work on our house. We had experienced a leak from the roof into the attic (and into the floor below, and on a weekend, no less). Chris was such a pleasure to work with. He came by right away, actually got up on the roof (three stories), did a thorough firsthand inspection, and outlined our repair options. Following Chris' recommendation, we hired him and his team to remove a section of the roof that needed repair, install a synthetic underlayment over the roof deck, install three-tab shingles, and to cap the ridge. But Chris didn't stop there. He and his team went above and beyond, and took great care of us. They made the extra effort to nail down loose boards, took the extra time to identify the source of a leak in another part of the roof (faulty vents), and replaced the faulty vents. What a godsend – thank you, Chris! Clean-up was thorough as well. You simply could not ask for a better contractor. The job was completed quickly and efficiently. Clean-up was impeccable. All communications were clear and comprehensive. This is a first rate company and team: highly recommended.

The project was to remove and install approximately 48 feet of ridge cap. It was hard to find someone to take on the job because it is relatively small. But Chris took the project on, quickly provided a quote, showed up right on time and completed the job quickly. He took pictures before and after so I was able to see the work without getting on the roof. And he took the time to explain why the ridge cap had failed. It was a great experience with a clear professional.

Great work, Chris and his team worked long days and banged out a difficult job. Lots of debris, but his crew tried hard to cleanup everyday.....

Good work for a good price. NIce guy. My only quibble: he tended to underestimate how long the job would take.

He said he'd be there at 8 a.m. on Saturday and was right on time. He climbed on my roof and examined it. He told me there was nothing I needed to have repaired and that the torrential rain had caused a minor leak. He was totally and one hundred percent honest. I definitely recommend him and absolutely use him, again.
