+ 0 moreWonderful company and wonderful employees. The entire United Better Homes Team was professional, courteous and friendly. As first time home owners, we had no idea what we were doing. The salesman was friendly and knowledgeable and educated us on the different grades of windows and what they were. The office manager worked extremely hard to make sure we got the best financing and the lowest rate available. He was always available to us when we had questions. The person who came to measure arrived on time and explained the entire installation process from start to finish. The installers were incredible and treated our home like their own. The installation was quick and almost painless and they left our home spotless. They were upbeat and enthusiastic and truly love what they do. The gentleman who does the finish work (the wrapping of the outside of the windows) is a true artist and did an amazing job with the more difficult "picture frame" style wraps. The entire experience was absolutely incredible and we cannot say enough about the entire company. United Better Homes made our first substantial home improvement project a true pleasure.

+ 1 moreThis is the second time we used this company. This was a much larger project that took almost 2 weeks to complete. The crew was on time everyday, very neat and very friendly to have around. One thing that impressed me was after they stripped the old vinyl down, they resealed and insulated every window and both sliding doors before putting up the new siding. They said the foam they used would prevent any drafts from coming through the windows. They answered any questions we had over the the course of the installation. The house looks amazing!! The Provia doors were a little more than some of the other options they carry, but now that they are in my house I feel they are worth every penny. I would highly recommend using United Better Homes. They are very knowledgeable with the products they provide and install and every time they seem to add a personal touch that shows how attentive they are to small details. Thanks again guys.

+ -1 moreI hired United Better Homes to replace my rotting basement windows. The employees I dealt with were clean and professional. I chose dark pre-pigmented window frames to match the existing foundation. They were 30% or so more expensive than the standard white frames (but to me they're worth it.) I have security cameras so although I wasn't home I gave them permission to do the job. I have quite a lot of things stored in the basement and nothing was missing. They replaced the windows, as well as several rotting sills that were too close to grade. They also installed my dryer vent through the new window. Overall the basement and foundatino look MUCH better--no more rot and much more secure. A nice job.

Their prices were reasonable and I believe them would do a thorough job. I ultimately went with another company and chose a different window product, but I felt he was reputable and would do an excellent job. I feel a bit guilty that I never ended up returning their follow up calls so here's my apology, UBH.

+ 0 moreBrian and his crew arrived early in the bitter cold and didnt bother them in the least. They worked together as true professionals. Checked and double checked all their work making sure it was done correctly and they didnt miss even the smallest thing. They even corrected mistakes made by the prior owner without me even asking. They fixed my damaged gutters (didnt try to sell me new ones like some companies). My house is already warmer and looks like new from the outside. The product they sell is second to none. I reccomend these guys for any home repairs or work that needs to be done. I know I will be using them again when the time comes. 5 stars across the board!

+ -1 moreThe sales guy came out the day after I initially called them. I was a little wary at first because they were so much cheaper than the competition. After I placed the order it took 3 weeks for the windows to be made. On the day of the install, they were running a little late on another job but called me to ask if it was okay if they were a few hours late but ensured me the install would be done that day. When they arrived they had a lot more guys than I expected, who were all courteous, professional, and quick. They took the time to explain things to me and ask questions before just ripping things apart. All in all, I am very happy and am planning on calling them again next year to get the rest of my windows done.
Description of Work: I had 10 old windows replaced in two apartments I own.

Price wise I received two other estimates and they were comparable. Quality wise I like these windows better than the others. I am planning in using them in the future.

+ -1 moreFrom the get go, I was impressed with United Better Homes repsonsiveness and professionalism. After scheduling an appointment for the next day and discussing with them what i was looking for, Eddie brought 3 window samples for my wife and I to look at. Eddie was on time for the appointment and was very thorough in describing the pros and cons for each of the windows. He didn't pressure us and spent well over an hour to answer all are questions. We had actually called him back with a few more questions and he decided it was best to come for another visit. When the day came for the installation Eddie and his crew arrived as scheduled and went right to work. They removed all the old windows, insulated where necessary, caulked and sealed the new windows and cleaned up as they went along. The whole process went smoothly and we are very happy with the outcome thus far. I would strongly recommend any one looking to replace their windows to having United Better Homes come and show you who they are and what they do. You will be very pleased.

They had a sample that they had on the spot. We have had it for a week and everything looks fine. They worked quickly and efficiently. We were waiting for them for a long time but when we called them they said they left for us on the phone. It could have been a problem our end that we didn’t get the message.

I had searched out product and pricing with several different companies and they seemed to offer me the best deal for what I was looking for an investment property. I didn't want to spend to much on the windows considering it was just rental property but I also wanted a decent quality window. United Better Homes got back to me with a window they could provide that was only $200 per window delivered and installed!! And i must say the quality of the windows were more than satisfactory for an investment property. I would actually use the window in my own dwelling. They installed 34 windows in my 3 family property for only $6800! Beyond the price, United Better Homes made the process very easy and painless. They had a very professional approach to what they do, yet were friendly and personable. I was very happy with my decision to give United Better Homes a try and the job of replacing all the windows in my house! I highly recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreBrain's team of window-replacement specialists arrived promptly at 9am on the scheduled day and his team had the new windows and sliders in and on their way by 2:30. I was thoroughly pleased with how easy the whole process was. The team that showed up was extremely respectful of our home and flooring. The windows are absolutely perfect and make me proud to have decided to go forward with this project. The initial phone estimate was nearly identical to the completed finish price of $11,200. There were no hidden costs, no funny games. Just a superior product with superior service and a great price. Highly recommend to all.
Description of Work: Contacted United Better Homes about doing an estimate on replacing 18 windows and a slider. Office manager Keith gave a ballpark estimate over the phone and within days, Brian from UBH came to our home and gave us a very reasonable estimate and an extremely flexible "window" where they could do the institution.

+ -1 moreIt went great, they were done with 17 windows in less than 4 hours and they did it on Saturday morning to accomodate our schedule. We called them for 2nd job and again, they were done super fast and did a great job.
Description of Work: United Better Homes window replacement experience has been amazing. Their responsiveness, professionalism and work quality is great, and the price is very competitive. I worked with Keith who scheduled all the jobs and even called back afterwards to check up how things went. I even asked them about the gun for insulation foam and where they get it from and they drove up and gave me one for free. We actually first replaced 17 windows on our floor only (we have a 3-family), then after they did all 17 windows in 4 hours (there were like 10 guys working on the windows and were very fast yet meticulous), we decided to do another 12 windows on other floor of our house including basement windows. They came back again and were done in like 3 hours. They even reattached some storms which we took off one set of windows onto another part of the house where we kept some older windows. Overall, wonderful experience. Brian is also a great guy, easy to work with and very professional. They are very honest and they will make sure that you are happy. And the windows have a lifetime warranty so if anything breaks, they will bring back another one (warranty includes the screens).

United Better homes made the whole process easy from the beginning when they came to our house to show the products, to the end when they contacted me just to make sure everything went as I expected. The price was very fair for the amount of work we needed. If anything, it was considerably lower than the 2 quotes we received from the bigger companies. The order came in fast, and 3 days later they had a full crew at our house, arriving ten minutes early. They worked all day until it was complete. They were polite, clean and very courteous to my family. Everything was spotless when they left, you would never know we had such a large remodelling job done that day. I would recommend United Better Homes to anybody looking for their services and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. One other feature that I thought separated them from the others we met with was they put all their prices online, so the price they gave me was exactly what I expected for the windows.

+ -1 moreVery good experience. Very easy to deal with. Replaced 21 windows in my house--did it in one day for $5000. Very good experience. Only issue was I noticed some very minor defects in the caulking around the windows. So minor I didn't bother calling them back in to fix the issue.
