Courteous and professional, Brian answered all my questions without condescending. He provided excellent service and charged a very fair price.

Computer would not boot up Windows. Hard drive was gone. Called ComputerRX and their was a prompt response. Ryan came out and took the CPU. He replaced the hard drive, upgraded Windows, and recovered most of my files. When I tried my genealogy program, I was unable to recover my history files, I called him and he then recovered these files remotely. In view of the fact that I would have lost valuable files, I think the cost was worth it.

We could no longer access Windows Live Mail nor McAfee Central. I submitted a request to Computer RX and received a response within minutes. Bruce accessed my computer remotely and diagnosed that the most recent version of McAfee was tainted. He removed it and verified that Mail could then be accessed. He then reinstalled the McAfee software from the McAfee website. Bruce was very easy to work with and he explained what he was doing. We will definitely return to him if (more like when) we have future issues.

Fantastic - I called on a Sunday afternoon and Brian called me that evening (I wasn't expecting a call until the next business day). We briefly discussed my situation and made arrangements for me to bring my laptop to him the following Wednesday. He ordered a new keyboard for me right over the phone (I had it shipped express mail so it was more expensive than normal shipping but that was my choice since I wanted my laptop back and functioning as soon as possible), I received a prompt notification when it arrived and I visited his workshop Wednesday evening as agreed. Brian was waiting for me and he quickly took out the caffeinated keyboard, did some basic diagnostics, put in the new keyboard (which he had waiting) and voila, I was back in business. Quick (I think the entire process took less than 20 minutes and he did the repairs right in front of me while I waited), easy and far less expensive than going to one of the big-box outlets, I was absolutely satisfied in every respect (in fact I'm typing this review on my new keyboard) and Brian has earned a new customer for any future issues I or my family has with our personal computers.

I had an elderly friend who was going into a nursing home. He required a laptop and to have his current computer's hard drive copied to his new computer. Brian did this remotely. Brian was even going to go into the nursing home and hook-up the laptop and help my friend learn to use it. Unfortunately, my friend died. The $150 was for the remote service; Brian sold the computer to another customer. The reason I chose Brian Cherry to perform this task was because I have been using his services for many of years. I know computers very well and I'm extremely picky when looking for any type of service and product. When it comes to computers, I contact Brian. I have sent many a friend his way and they always report positive results. Brian's a computer genius who's very friendly, extremely reasonable with service and product costs, and bends over backwards to make sure you're happy.

Provider returned my email within 10 minutes and finished the work within 2 days. He was extremely helpful and knowledgable. The computer is working better than when it was new.

I contacted Brian Cherry of Computer RX through Angie's List on Friday, February 6, and he called me less than 15 minutes later. We spoke about the problems I'd been having with my computer, and he suggested he would try to diagnose and repair the issues with my computer remotely. I agreed, and he got right to work. It took a few hours which did not require my involvement. As it turned out, my computer was loaded with malware, all of which he was able to remove. He also ran tests to make sure my computer was clean. He called to let me know when all work was complete. An invoice was e-mailed to me within a couple of days which I was conveniently able to pay online. My computer is now running much better. Brian really knows his business, and I would highly recommend him.

Brian is, in a word, awesome. I got a quote from the "big guys" that was more than twice what Brian charged me and that didn't include a new PC. He knows his stuff, has amazing prices, and his service can't be beat. He won't sell you stuff you don't need and if he runs into any problems, he sticks with the issue until it gets resolved. We hit a snag on the install (not his fault) where he had to bypass a previously installed firewall (I didn't have the username or password). It took an extra 3 hours to resolve, but he was not going to let it go until everything was right. I'll never use another tech service or buy a computer from anyone else again. Whether it's for your personal computer use or a small business, Brian from Computer RX is who you should be using to service your tech needs.

Brian is very professional. Everything he said he would do was performed as promised. The PC runs smooth, fast and dependable. I feel comfortable referring Brian to my friends and family. Brian was very flexible with his schedule and availability. I will be bringing him my other computers.

I called Brian on Saturday morning at 9:00, he was at my home at 11:00 and was able to save the data. . He had to take the laptop to his shop in order to replace the hard drive with a brand new one. I really needed it back quickly and he went above and beyond by making sure I had it back by Sunday morning and even stayed and loaded on the programs that I needed for my documents and files. He also downloaded back up programs for me and showed me how to manage them to ensure I wouldn't lose any files if anything like this were to happen in the future......He literally saved my laptop as well as saving me from hours of work to restore everything that could have been lost... And I must add that for coming to my home twice -- on a weekend no less -- his rates were more than fair....

I called Brian and although he was busy at the time, he called me back a little later as promised. The issues were on my computer that I use for my business billing, and Quickbooks. He was able to remotely review my computer and make diagnosis. He ran some malware identifying programs which discovered some attachments which were removed. He ran some additional programs and removed other nonessential items. I had installed the Cloud back up, but it wasn't working. Bryan finished the process needed and made sure the back up was working. He spent a Friday evening and Saturday morning working on the issues. I was extremely pleased with how quickly he was able to repair my laptop and that he could work on it remotely. Thus saving downtime for my business. I felt very comfortable with the remote usage as I could see what he was doing on my computer. Bryan was very good about explaining what was happening and why. I learned a lot and Bryan will be the only person I will call for computer help. I would highly recommend Computer RX for both businesses and personal computer concerns.

I called and left no message. He took the initiative via caller ID to call me back. We spent 15 minutes on the telephone and he gave me very helpful information. He is clearly a reputable, honest business person. Although I will not need him today, I definitely will call him in the future. His experience spans many years and he is very respectful. I highly recommend him.

We had set up a new company web page and web address and the supposed professionals at GoDaddy left us in the lurch when it came to setting up the email address. After over an hour on the phone with GoDaddy, we were unable to send of receive emails to our new email address. GoDaddy said we would have to have someone come to out to our house and troubleshoot the issues. We did a quick search on Angies List and came up with Brian Cherry from Computer RX. Brian listened to our problem, quickly set up a remote connection and went to work on the desktop. He methodically went through all the settings and within an hour had everything set up and working perfectly. He was so pleasant and easy going and a true professional to deal with. We could not be more pleased with everything and his price was more than reasonable. We would have gladly payed even double what her charged us. Great guy, great company!

The best service imaginable. We have had our computer and laptop serviced by Brian and we are so pleased by his professionalism. His fees are more than reasonable. After testing the computer, Brian didn't recommend repair as being cost-effective. He didn't charge for the work and gave me great advice about what to consider when buying another laptop. He was prompt, knowledgeable and honest. I'll definitely be back

Our computer problem was solved - quickly and at a fair price. Will definitely call on Computer RX when other computer problems pop up.

Remedied most of the problem - there remained one program that attempts to start up with I open a picture file, and the program is no longer installed, so I have to keep cancelling the attempted start-up every time I change picture folders - he couldn't get it fixed. The hassle is manageable, and perhaps it's something that connot be fixed. Otherwise, and excellent job.

Brian was phenomenal! He fixed all the issues and even provided additional help and information. Was easy to talk to and ask questions and made sure all the issues were fixed and all 5 laptops were working (like new) before signing off. He made sure to tell me that he would be available for questions and not to hesitate contacting him. Brian was professional, knowledgeable and quickly gained my trust. I will do business with him again, and highly recommend him.

He was extremely responsive and quick to help. Because he did not find any problems when he kept it overnight it did not charge me for that, only for the time he spent checking it remotely. I would absolutely use him again. Very satisfied.

He did not find any problems that he could fix, so I paid the fee and my computer still does not work properly. The provider should return money if he cannot fix the problem.

I have been using Brian for my computer guy for the past 8 years. he is reliable, punctual, professional, and a great guy. I would highly recommend him.

My experience with Computer RX was great. Throughout the whole process, Brian was courteous and knowledgeable. The problem he encountered had eluded a previous technician who had come to my house to work on it, but Brian correctly diagnosed it. The repair cost was very reasonable. Brian will be the first person I call if a problem comes up again. Seriously, why would you go to a big box store to fix your PC when a local company like Computer RX is so excellent?
