+ -1 morePhil, from JD Mello, came over to give us an estimate on replacing a leaking sewer pipe. He did that as well as provide an estimate for changes to the heating system. He also took the time to answer our questions about the boiler and winterizing the system. Later, the plumbers came and did the job neatly for the price quoted. We would call JD Mello again.
Description of Work: Main sewer pipe from bathroom to outdoor pipe was replaced (approx 25 ft of 5" pipe).

+ -1 moreWe felt extremely gratified to work with such a professional and responsive company. Every workman treated our tenants with kindness and efficiency. They completed the work in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned up well when finished. We appreciated their ability to coordinate all these repair efforts so effectively.
Description of Work: The Mello Company fixed a leak in an upstairs shower that two other plumbing companies could not diagnose. They subcontracted to a carpentry company to repair a ceiling below the leaking shower. They also subcontracted to a company to repair a major sewer clog and sewer line break under the basement of our newly acquire Victorian home. They coordinated all repairs efficiently, expediently and at a reasonable price for this major undertaking. As 'out of town owners' we particularly appreciated the respect they showed our tenants and their thoroughness in communicating all phases of the repairs.

+ -1 moreWe called Mello Plumbing and they quickly replaced the part and only charged us for the service call. The Plumber then gave us back the old part and told us that it was still in good shape. He also told us to save it because it was a $100 part. To me this was the sign of a very honest man. My husband and I are both very pleased.
Description of Work: They replaced a leaking service valve in our shower, in which we already purchased the new part for.
