For this project, they were more expensive than the other company we got a quote from, so we chose to go with the competitor. I would still highly recommend them because they are a class act and offer a great product.

+ -1 moreWe have a room that we wanted to turn into a closet, we tried many local designers and online (but I didn't want to install ir myself). The other designers were either way too expensive or their designs didn't meet our needs --and they weren't very receptive to feedback. Then Sophia from Closets etc. came over and listened to what we wanted - came up with a great design - and then listened to our feedback and made changes. A few short weeks later the 2 installers arrived, and they couldn't have been more polite and professional. Great installation, but one small problem of a light switch being covered up. Well, we thought we would have to live with it - after all we signed off on the design, but when mentioned to Sophia, there were no questions - they would make it right, They were back a few days later to adjust the closet and "uncover" the switch. Truly a pleasure to work with and when they say they want you 100% satisfied , they mean it. I recommend them unequivocally. They were truly a pleasure to work with -- and delivered on their promises.

+ -1 moreEverything with Closets etc was great. It went great with Closets etc. They were professional. I had kind of an unusual place to put a closet and they came up with a great idea. Their price was fantastic. The price was about 1000 dollars and two other companies that we had charged twice as much. The design was just as good as the others. The workman who came in to install was very professional, very knowledgeable, quick and very clean. I wouldn't rate the responsiveness an 'A' there were a couple of little things that didn't work out but it could have been probably of our doing as well, communicating with them. I would use this service provider again in the future if needed.

+ -1 moreWe ended up going with another company but they did come out and we had a good experience with them. They were able to make an appointment in a timely manner. They kept the appointment and I had e-mailed her and told her that we had gone with another company and they were still very gracious so I always appreciate that. The designs were similar but we ended up going with the design we like better and it was also significantly less money.

+ 0 moreReconfigured three closets in my house. Design services from Sylvia and responsiveness were fabulous and the closets are amazing. There is one shelving unit that isn't quite perfect, shelves a little wobbly when not full, but it was a tricky rotary shelving unit and functions fine. Having well designed, organized closets has been life's changing and definitely reduces clutter at home. Only other comment is they have quite a backlog so will take several weeks to get an install. But totally worth it!

I called the company, Sophia came out, measured and had the new unit installed in a week oir less. Woukld absolutely recommend them and would use them again myself!
Description of Work: I don't remember how much I spent but I recently had some difficulty with one of mmy units and called Closets ETC. They came right out, reviewed the problems and replaced the units for free. Absolutely, unquestioningly top notch service. They stand behind their products and handle issues very professionally.

+ -1 moreI can't say enough about Sophia. She was one of three vendors we had come out, and she was far and away the most professional. Her measurements were meticulous, and she spent a good deal of time working with me to figure out just what I wanted. She sent me the schematics and quote very quickly, and then reworked them when I had other ideas. Her price was entirely fair; she definitely worked with me to fit her products to my budget.
Description of Work: We recently moved into an older Colonial home, with teeny,tiny closets. We wanted to have the closets refitted in a way that maximized what little space we had. We also wanted some bookcases built in to deal with a large library. Finally, we have a odd "nook" in one bedroom that is too short to accommodate a typical bureau, so we were looking to have someone make one to fit.

The installers were on time, also very professional and courteous, working meticulously and carefully late into the day until the job was completed. The results were an excellent product delivered and installed perfectly. Don't know how I lived without these closets!! In an age where personal service seems to be a thing of the past, Closets etc provided the ultimate in quality and service while demonstrating great skill, knowledge and a genuine desire to assure customer satisfaction. This is a top-notch company. I highly recommend Closets etc.without any hesitation.

Description of Work: I wanted to have made my standard issued closet (one shelf, and one hanging rod) into the best closet I could have designed by a professional. I shopped 6 different companies and bought "local" from RI's own "Closet etc." In 1 day my closet very quickly became my dream closet and makes getting dressed in the morning quick, easy and fun. I can see ALL my clothes displayed....it's like shopping my wardobe every day. After shopping alot before I bought, I got exactly what was promised, the quality makes it a GREAT product, there has not been one repair, ever, in fact it has held up so well I have finally contacted Closets etc to come and re-do all the closets in my home. What a treat!!! By having an organized closet system, you will at least double if not triple your closet space! I am a very careful spend thrift and customer. It is worth every penny to have a closet system designed by this company....I have never regretted spending the money the first time and now look forward to doing it again! Closets etc are the best.....and all the better because they are a local company.

+ -1 moreAfter estimating the job and receiving a quoted price, the representative, Sophia Meyersiek, informed me that she was purchasing another closet business, I transferred the business to her new business, Closets Etc. During the installation, the installer made errors, Ms. Meyersiek responded by reinstalling shelves improperly aligned and/or the wrong size. Her contracted installer was problematic. The installer failed to protect my newly installed pine floors, left loose hardware on the floors, and failed to maintain a clean work space at the end of each day. Nearing the end of the installation, while carrying too many shelves into a bedroom, the workman dropped the shelving causing extreme damage (estimated at $800-$1,000 ) to the newly installed pine floors. Efforts to negotiate with Closets Etc were futile, the owner refused to acknowledge the negligence of the installer and left me with the total costs of the floor repair.
Description of Work: Installation of shelving in four closets. I contacted and received a bid from the previous company owned by Sophia Meyersiek.
