Description of Work: They installed an over-the-range microwave in kitchen, including setting up a new outlet needed for it and all other needed electrical work. Half the price of the quote from another local electrician for the same work, and the other guy wanted me to do some footwork on my own on top of that. A pleasure to work with.

Mike Ferreira, got back to me promptly, he was on-time and he provided excellent service and advice. He was able to provide me with the necessary assessment and got back to me with clear and reasonable estimate for the additional work, as I requested. I would recommend him to others and have arranged for him to complete the additional work when the weather permits.
Description of Work: I needed an immediate inspection of my electrical panel and to obtain bids for additional electrical work, electrical panel upgrades, installation of additional service, installation of a programmable thermostat, and repairs to exterior lights.

+ -1 moreVery quick, only took about 45 min start to finish. Mind you, this is the day after Hurricane Irene struck New England. I called Ferreira Elec about 9am; they were at my house by 11am and finished just before noon. And a very reasonable $95 for all. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. They could have taken advantage of the "hurricane" situation, but they did not. Such a pleasure to deal with honest folks.
Description of Work: Hook up of house main power line to National Grid power line. Hurricane Irene knocked the house powerline off the house. NG disconnected power and re-hung their line to the house. Ferreira Elec re-hung the house pwr line and reconnected power.

+ -1 moreBeing new to the area and not finding any electrician listed in Angie's List in Bristol (and others, listed in the surrounding area, had all very few reviews), I relied on the recommendation of a neighbor to contact Mr. Michael Ferreira, who gave me what I considered to be a reasonable estimate for this project. He came when he said he would and completed the job as agreed. He and his two sons did a very professional work, answered all my questions and took the time to thoroughly clean up when the work was done.
Description of Work: Install a four-circuit sub panel in the garage and a hard-wired surge protector on the main panel.
