Uncle Wayne’s Ceramic Tile and Stone

The built-in soap holder fell out of the tiled shower wall taking several tiles with it. Wayne replaced the tiles, caulked around the tub, and repaired any broken pieces of grout on the shower walls. Wayne is personable, professional and a hard worker! Will call him again with other projects around the house.

Wayne got back to me right away and even came over on a weekend to do the job. He gave me a very reasonable price, was knowledgeable and pleasant. He was a delight to work with. I plan to use him in the future for any small home repairs. If you are tired of handymen who don't call back or try to rip you off, call Wayne. He is a refreshing change and I highly recommend him. Had two shed doors that were in need of repair. Thought I was going to have to completely replace them but Uncle Wayne's came in, reinforced them and made them look like new. VERY PLEASED

Perfect. Wayne has been a pleasure, and he has fixed alot of things in the house. He fixed my dimmers and rewired a light switch to a better location. The bathtub work he did was excellent. He removed the old tiles, cleaned them, fixed the cement board that was damaged, reset the tiles, grouted, and caulked the tub. Looks like new....and no more water coming through the ceiling! Very happy with everything so far, and he will be returning to do some plumbing fixes again soon!

Wayne is a very nice guy who responded promptly and showed up timely. He fixed two of the three things we discussed on the phone, as he felt the third would take too much time. He is most skilled in plumbing and electrical work, and light carpentry, so not really interested in the other things I needed, which involved more build /paint work. If I needed a plumber or electrician I would call him again. He is the type of person you feel is trustworthy to have around the house.

Wayne is GREAT! He's prompt and is great at explaining what needs to be done. He helped recondition my shower and fixed a mystery leak as well as the crazy screech coming from the bathroom fan. He also came by for a second visit to help patch some drywall. Great guy, excellent service. Will be using him again for bigger projects in the future.

Wayne is a delightful fellow as well as a meticulous and skillful carpenter. He quickly responded to our request for assistance and installed a hose hook-up so that we can water our new spring landscaping. We are looking forward to working with him again on several electrical problems in our two-unit property. Did a beautiful job lots of cutting around things the tile was stone so more difficult.. Faucet needed extra attention as well as outside connection. . I feel he have us great service and did a fantastic job I love my kitchen now!. Very nice to talk to and very professional. Will have back to do more for us without hesitation .

Uncle Wayne is a courteous and knowledgable guy. He was running late for a few visits, but he always called with an update. He got started on our project right away and, as I suspected, it would take more than the 3 hour deal I had purchased to complete. So we arranged for him to come back to finish the job. He was forthcoming with his availability and keep his commitments. I was looking for a handyman who could add his talents to my "expanded diy" project. And Wayne was a great fit. I hope to hire him for a full bathroom (non-diy) build out in the near future.

I just wanted to take the time to let you know how much i appreciate the job Uncle Wayne did in hanging pictures and curtains for me. Uncle Wayne was very professional and timely. In this world it is often hard to find people who do what they say they are going to do. This was never an issue. Uncle Wayne started when he said he would and he finished when he said he would. The work was always to my satisfaction. I would recommend Uncle Wayne, without hesitation, to anyone who needs similar assistance in setting up their home.

I've used Wayne on several occasions to handle all sorts of tasks around the house, a minor list would include: fixed doors, installed hand rails, repaired plumbing installation problems, repaired dishwasher seals, fixed windows from slamming down, applied concrete sealant around driveway etc. Sometimes it takes a little work to coordinate his time/schedule as he is a busy guy. Overall he's knowledgeable, fair priced, and communicates well so the job gets done as you desire. Definitely recommend.

I spoke to the service provider and sent him pictures. We assessed the work from the photos and determined that the scope of the work necessary goes beyond the 2 hours allotted in the big deal. I then called Angie's List to cancel.

Work was done efficiently. There seems to be little about bathrooms and plumbing that he doesn't know.

Wayne was very professional from beginning to end. He worked with my schedule arriving promptly and completing the work quickly and expertly. He explained fully what needed to be done and even offered helpful advice on keeping the multiple hose connection trouble free. His work is excellent and very reasonably priced.

Uncle Wayne was wonderful to work with. He was professional and took the time and care to do the job right. He doesn't take shortcuts or leave details unfinished. This guy knows his stuff! He was always prompt to respond to my emails, calls, or texts. He arrived on time to my house, or if he was running behind he would let me know. He even came in to do work over the 4th of July weekend! He was very trustworthy, and although the job ended up costing a bit more than he quoted, I was very happy with the extra work and materials he put into it. The kitchen looks terrific now - thanks to Wayne! I will definitely call him again.

I am more than happy with the work that was done. Uncle Wayne not only did a fantastic job but he did it when he said he would, he returned all of my calls, had amazing attention to detail, and a very fair price. Wayne was extremely helpful. He not only did an amazing job, but he was very forthcoming about the age and issues with a bathroom as old as mine. He explained everything he was doing and why and also made recommendations to put in my long term maintenance plan. He also provided upgrade recommendations that were really helpful! Even better he gave me a few tips on things that the non-handyman in me could do to fix a few small items around the house. Thought he was terrific and will use him again for other household projects!
