Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner move furniture, they are professional, they're efficient, and they are very good about finding spots that I haven't noticed. They do an excellent job and don't try to oversell me stuff like doing draperies and furniture that I'm not interested in. They are respectful not to damage anything and clean up after themselves. I feel that the process is the only real good carpet cleaning process out there because they put the steam and the hot water in and then they suck it back up. Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner are not just putting down chemicals so it looks better. They are really getting deep down clean and sucking the dirt back out so the stains don't reappear. They are the only carpet cleaners I would consider using.

They were supposed to clean, deodorize, and protect two rooms. They scrutinized why I wouldn't have all services done to the stairs too. I explained my pets are baby gated from using the or even getting upstairs (not very polite to push me why I wouldn't get certain services - I understand upsell but they way they approached me was plain rude!!!!). People are on budgets and it was bad enough they weren't honoring the coupon published by their corporate offices! After they were done, I was presented with a $250 bill! It would have been nice to know before they performed services - I would have shown them the door for that price - needless to say I had to pay it. I went well over what we could normally afford and believe me I was mad. Not only this, but after they left - my carpets didn't smell 100% clean - especially for what I paid. I figured it would be better when it dried...sadly, I was mistaken. After everything was moved back into the living room...the whole flyer was found. I called the number that gave me the quote and explained the coupon situation and was told if I could prove it was theirs - they would honor it. They took my complaint and told me a supervisor would be in touch with me. I was contacted the next day and explained everything and that I wanted my money returned as (and charged what I was told I would pay) and he said he'd investigate and call me back. Never called me back. Two days later I called the number he provided to me. Again, he explained he'd call me back...which he did by the end of the day. He proceeded to tell me the store wouldn't honor the coupon ( after I was told by the workers they would if I could prove it was theirs- which I could do because I had entire flyer in my hand). He then explained I had received great service and wouldn't find that kind of quality elsewhere...I could have had a lesser known company here and charge me at most $120! I told him I didn't care he thought I wouldn't find that quality elsewhere (it was price that determined who would do our rugs and I would have went with someone else had I known ) - I was told they'd honor the coupon and expected them to honor it like I was told. I was angry enough and asked why I wasn't told that when I received the quote over the phone (if certain chains refuse to honor it and they ask for a zip code when quoted - it should pop up on screen when a certain store is assigned to your quote - in this day and age, I would expect that.) I wanted the services because of the coupon - no other reason!!!. Just because this was the price I was quoted was the reason I agreed for them to come and I had to pay double! We argued this point and he snubbed me the entire time. I told him his company was a rip off and I intended on telling the public what a dishonest company they have. All he could say was go ahead. I have never been so angry. I will never again have this company in my home and will tell all I see what dishonest crooks they are! I want everyone to be aware of what this company may do and I do not recommend them at all. I shampooed my rugs a week later myself because there was still a funny smell after they left - needless to say - the horrible color that came out looks like nothing was done at all....for what I paid I thought the water would have been lighter in color - it wasn't - so much dirt came out into that water....I believe their exceptional service is utter junk and I think a no name company would have cleaned my rugs so much better for what I paid. Please do yourself a favor....go with a better more honest company who will at least do the job they were paid to do...

I thought they did great job but the price was a little bit high. They were here on time, there was a few issues but they came back and fix them up. I thought that the price was high it was 450 $ for the area I have cleaned.

Serives were performed in a professional manner. Aside from an intial question regarding additional services, no pressure selling was attempted.

Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner were great. They came on time and were not obtrusive. They were quick and did a good job. Their people were friendly. I had some questions about different things and they were willing to answer them. I really did like them.

I called the local Stanley Steemer, and I since found out that they are individually franchised. I guess they can do what they wanted to do. They came. We are retired, and we were busy trying to get ready to go somewhere. My husband was in a small room keeping out of their way. They did three area rugs and two bedroom carpets. When they were done, my husband went in to check all the rooms, and they had actually gouged my wood flooring in the family room where they had done the area rug. The wood had to be replaced. I had a terrible time with them. I called repeatedly, and I never got to talk to the man that owned it. His name was Eric I believe. My husband finally repeatedly called and told them we needed to have a call back. We finally got a call back so when Eric called my husband all he could say was that his people did not do it. He swears up and down that all the furniture was moved but we did not move any furniture. He said they did not move any furniture. I told the gentleman that we were 65 and 67 years old, so, we were not moving furniture all around. They had bigger equipment which they move. He just totally denied it. We had a man come out, looked at it, and told us that our chair in the area had the rubber thing on it. They basically denied it, and they ended up really not wanting to do anything. I was totally disappointed because we had used Stanley Steemer many times. It was a big argument. He just kept telling us that his people did not do it; he was never sorry. I worked in customer service for many years and I know that is not what you do. We actually ended up having someone come that we knew off. We were in disarray because you had to pull wood boards up. Luckily, we had another box downstairs but of course the basement had made it not fit so they had to do a lot of trimming just to do three to five boards. We had our furniture and carpet up for a week just before Christmas. It ended up that we paid the gentleman to do it and used our own piece of wood that we got from another company for two hundred and some dollars a box. We actually used our own wood and everything. The gentleman said that he did not want to turn it in because they had a $500 deductible. He sent somebody out, some kid who was about twenty years old that did not know what he was doing. He started pulling up all the moldings around the floor in the whole room. His staple gun did not work, and he did not have any equipment. I think the guy from Stanley just wanted to send anybody out just to do it. It was just a bad experience. I hope that no one else have to deal with that where they scratch your floors and totally deny it. Then, send somebody else to take care of what they had done. It was not even a scratch; it was a gouge because if it was a scratch, you can put a scratch cover on it, but it had wood shavings still laying there. Three boards were really gouged probably from equipment that was dropped and dragged. Afterwards, we went around looking at the two bedrooms that were cleaned, and they were filthy. So, we have to have them done again, but I am not going back to Stanley Steemer. I thought their price was very high for what they did. They were on time to show up for the job, but not to come back.

Did a great job, they were professional, and did a nice job of cleaning the furniture.

Called Stanley Steemer when our basement flooded and they were at our home within 2 business days. Pricing was high but the quality of work and equipment used was good. Would use them again if it was an emergency but would shop around if not an emergency due to the high price.

After contacting several of the highly rated carpet cleaners in my area, I selected Stanley Steemer. I inquired about price and timing in which the carpet would be dry after cleaning as I am in the process of moving. After being assured several times when making the appointment that they would be dry in 12-24 hours, I scheduled it for the day before the move. The cleaners were friendly and arrived as scheduled at 8:00 Saturday morning. They completed the service promptly in empty rooms. After they finished I was again assured that the carpets would be dry in 24 hours. There really weren't too many comments made until they were placed on the receipt when I paid with a credit card. Upon completion there was not a walk through to assure 100% satisfaction as indicated on Stanley Steemer's main website. Sunday after 12:00 PM I went to check on the carpets in order to start moving furniture. Instead of being dry they were still very wet, soaking my (and several others of my moving crews') socks. The carpets were also buckled in several places of every bedroom. I called the contractor who said to contact the office manager the next morning. I did and it was explained to me that it could have been carpet that was improperly installed and therefore the buckling. Hmm, that explains them being wet? They said that the buckling would go down after it was dry. I placed a dehumidifier and fan in the area as I wasn't going to take a chance of ruining furniture yet. I checked later, after 6:00 PM, emptied the dehumidifier and the carpets were still wet. It was not until Monday that the carpet was dry enough to place furniture on it, so it was more like 48 hours. The reason for the review - my time is just as valuable as my money. Therefore, I can't recommend a company that is blatantly ignorant in their treatment of customers. After making several calls to the company (many unreturned), I was told 'we never promise that carpets will be dry in 24 hours' A day of moving was forfeited due to information or service that was inadequate and I believe that being a service company - they should be doing far better.

I had a 4 hour window for them to arrive; they called 1 hour prior to coming. They were very courteous, polite, professional. They did offer other services to me. I am embarrassed to admit my carpet was very dirty and had only been cleaned by myself in the past. From the beginning you could see how clean it was becoming. It now looks new like it did when installed. I had moved out all the smaller items and they did move the larger ones plus put them back where we wanted on foam squares while it dries. Their service is fantastic, they would show me what they had done and ask my opinion. I am truly amazed, impressed and extremely satisfied with their service. I never thought my carpet would look this good and I was seriously considering replacing it. This company and the work they do, their professionalism are amazing. I will recommend them to anyone.

They were very flexible with the time. The cleaned the carpet great. The people moving in were very pleased.

The last time they cleaned the carpet they were pretty good, but there was one spot that did not come out. Otherwise, they were very friendly and came out when they were supposed to. They did what they were supposed to be doing. A family member had recommended them to me. The key gentlemen, who had come out, were specially recommended to me.

I have used them for about 5 years. They were reasonable and timely. I trust them and will let them in, because they are trustworthy.

They are really good. Their price was really reasonable. They were on time. They were very particular about how they cleaned in. If my wife or I were home by ourselves, we wouldn’t have any problem with them or anything.

Online order was confirmed by email at 0830-1100. By 1 pm we called and they said the tea,m was running behind/ They also said the tream had us down for 1 pm. The email confirmation, we said, listed 0830 to 1100. The woman on the phone said sometimes the online schedule and the team's actual schedules do not match. What the heck? Fix it, Stanley Steemer, or continue to lose customers. Disappointing for a big name carpet cleaner. This customer will go elsewhere next time.

The carpet was filthy and they did an excellent job. The carpet ended up looking really nice. They were great. I called one day, and they were there the next. The price was really good. I thought they were going to charge me more than they did for the work.

They were very effective and probably the most cost effective. They were very complete.

The Stanley Steemer guys (2) arrived at 10:15am. Scheduled time arrival was between 10am and 1pm. I had most of the fragile stuff removed from the living room except for the tv. I had to move that myself or with the help of the cleaning guy. Even though it was a heavy tv I chose to move it myself because I wanted to make sure if it got damaged it was ME who did it. The lead guy looked over the areas to be cleaned and explained what I could expect after cleaning. We had know idea how old the carpet was but after 5 years of living in this house, running my own carpet cleaner a few times, twin 5 year olds and 2 dogs I thought anything was better than it's current condition. The couch and recliner were both 5 years old and the arms were filthily! I was somewhat surprised when they asked where the toilet was and if there was an outside faucet. I didn't think about where the waste water was going to go or where they would get fresh water. We are on a spring well and have up flow septic (in basement get pumped up to go out), so I was a little concerned but there were no issues. The workers were cleaning for approximately an hour and 45 minutes and the end result was WAY better then I could have done and in half the time! I was completely happy with the look of the carpet and especially the couch and recliner; like having all new furniture! We also got carpet deodorizer and protectant for the living room carpet.

They did an absolutely superb job. I have never had my carpets cleaned this well by anybody and I've had people charge me double what they did. The guy did an absolutely excellent job. We have a multi color short shag carpet in the family room and we use that room so hard and it was dingy so I mainly wanted them to do that. It was $99 for one room and $132 for 3 rooms so I decided to have the living room and dining room done too. I booked it all online and it was very easy. They emailed us back with instructions to remove any knick-knacks and that kind of stuff. The guy was here on time. He apologized when he got here and said that there were usually two of them. He got right to everything and answered any questions I asked. We paid over $300 before to other people for the exact same job. They did an absolutely excellent job and I will use them again.

I liked their cleanliness, thoroughness and their speed. I don?t remember the price, but I think they are reasonable.
