The movers arrived at the promised time. They were very careful with all of our possessions - wrapping everything and carefully placing it in the truck. They unloaded the truck at our new home, put the furniture back together and placed it exactly where we wanted. They were careful not to mark our walls or damage our furniture. They made our move easier than we thought it would be. Jeff and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

After 2 cherished family heirlooms were inadvertently left behind on our estate move in 9/13, the items were left with the owner, Jeff Piccolo, with his promise to get the items to me at a later date. He never got them to Philadelphia as promised and finally admitted, on 12/10/15, that he doesn't have the items. I'm devastated at the loss of these treasured items, willed by my belated parents' to their grandchildren!!!!

The two movers we had were overall good. They were prompt and showed up at 7:30am as promised. One guy named Jeff was super nice. The other guy with the beard was just OK. The bearded guy took a few smoke beaks while he jammed out to his loud music in the middle of the moving process. His cigarette smoke was also filling up the side entrance to our house. But they both worked hard and got the job done.

These movers were excellent. A 4 man crew was provided and they were on time and got straight to work. They were able to complete a local move from our 3 bedroom townhome to our new single family home in approx. 4 hours. The guys were extremely professional, took great care of our items and were able to put everything they moved back together in the new house exactly as we wanted. At the time I was just about to give birth and could not have asked for a smoother move. I would highly recommend them!

Everything was done exactly how I would expect it, from start to finish. When arranging the move, the communication about times, prices and expectations was clear and accurate. The moving team called ahead to let me know they were on their way, and arrived right on schedule. Everything was wrapped and loaded carefully into the truck. On the other end, everything was unloaded and moved into the new apartment, with each piece placed where I wanted it. All of the packing materials were removed and disposed of properly. The moving team was professional, polite and friendly, and diligent. They worked with the apartment management staff to coordinate the use of elevators, etc., and were respectful of the management staff and apartment rules. I would use this company again for any of my moving needs, and would recommend them to my friends and family without reservation.

Jeff, was pleasant to work with. We had a situation where I was away for business when the closing happened and Jeff made the move go quite smoothly for my wife which I appreciate very much. There was some last minute timing issues and Jeff was very accommodating. Every one acted professionally, quickly, and handled the furniture and belongings with care. We would not think twice about giving Jeff our business in the future if the need arises.

Pros- provided a xtra mover to expedite and make up for a late start; courteous hard working movers; were diligent in getting very heavy and awkward pieces into 2nd floor rooms where there was fitting issues; packed safely on the truck; where able to make up the 1 1/2 hours time lost due to truck issues in the morning. When confronted with a item broken in the move Jeff worked out a fair compromise. Crew chief was very responsible; had extra work moving the townhouse fridge and washer to basement making room for my own which they did with a reasonable additional charge; took apart modular furniture that didn't fit. Cons-1 1/2 hours late due to truck mechanical problems; broke a lamp, a planter, and scratched two prices of furniture; and minor wall marks. Gave them a B due to the these issues.

Piccolo's Friendly Movers were fast, and professional. They moved all of our furniture, taking care to wrap each piece to prevent damage. They were polite, easy to reach by phone, and were up front about pricing.

Owner was great - worked through every detail with me before the move. The two movers were punctual, friendly and fast! I would highly recommend to anyone needing a small or big move.

They responded right away. Estimate was accurate. Some in the crew were professional, some not. Stripped out some of our screws when reassembling the furniture. Did not reassemble the furniture correctly. Their truck struck our mailbox, had to barter to get them to pay for it. Ok company for local move, but definitely a budget company. Temper your expectations.

It was amazing. They were very careful, they wrapped everything up. They were really nice guys.

We had many conversations to get all details correct for the move. The trucks arrived on time with 6 guys to do the loading. They were very courteous and accommodating to whatever I ask or needed to be done. There was no complaining about what needed to be done. It was completed in the time we were told and they were on the road. We met them the next day at our new house and they unloaded with 4 guys, showing up when they said they would. I saw some damage to some dining room chairs and brought it to their attention. Then I spoke with Jeff about how to proceed for repairs. We had them repaired and after some confusion about reimbursement, we received the funds and all is well. I would recommend them to others for moving services.

Piccolo's Friendly Movers returned my initial call promptly. They asked me a number of questions regarding the moving job for which I wanted an estimate. They gave me a "ballpark" estimate and asked when I needed to be moved. It turned out that the date fit well with their schedule and they asked me if I was interested in a more specific estimate. Based on the ballpark estimate, I was interested in pursuing. They promised to call the next morning to get more specific information to complete the estimate. As promised, the next morning they called and had me walk through a detailed tour of our home and what needed to be moved - room by room. For some rooms, they asked about specific items that many people have but I may have forgotten about. That was very helpful. They also asked about certain items that might be heavier than normal. Once we completed that, they gave me an estimate in the form of a range of $1,210 to $1,295. They then sent me an email detailing what we had discussed and asked me to review the list and confirm it, which I did. I ended up adding a few things that I somehow forgot earlier. But, they didn't change the estimate. They confirmed the date of the move and indicated that they start their day at 7:00 AM and would be travelling from their location to our home. We were up bright and early the morning of the move. They called shortly after 7:00 AM to let us know that they were on their way and they told us the names of the crew that would be doing our move. There were four men with two very large trucks. They estimated their arrival as 7:30 AM and they were spot on. The crew leader came to the door and introduced himself then he introduced his crew members. Then the crew leader toured the home with me reviewing the list of things to move from the email that we exchanged. They disassembled any furniture items that needed to be take apart to move. They allowed us to leave all our stuff in our drawers. They wrapped the furniture in moving blankets which they then sealed with a plastic wrap. This was an excellent touch because it protected both the finish of the furniture as well as the paint and the walls. It was really hot and humid that day and they were all sweating profusely. But they hustled and in about 3 hours they had everything on the truck. While they were loading the truck, we were loading our car with the things we wanted to hand-carry. Once they were loaded up, we left the house. They told us that they would stop for a short break along the way to get something to eat and drink - we went on ahead to the townhouse. Within 30 minutes of our arrival at the townhouse, they were pulling up. We gave them a brief tour of the townhouse and gave them a general sense of where we wanted them to put the furniture items. We had labeled all of our boxes with their destination so we explained to them where those destination names were actually located in the townhouse. The crew leader called his boss for a final determination of the cost (within the estimate range that they initially gave me). It came out to be the lowest end of the estimate plus they charge for the amount of plastic wrap that they use. In this case, it came to $15. So, the total came to $1,225. While we were settling the fee, the rest of the crew started moving our stuff into the townhouse. My wife and I were on hand to direct them regarding placement of the furniture in the rooms. They put things exactly where we wanted them and were willing to move things to new locations when we decided to change our mind on where things should go. The put together the various items of furniture that they previously disassembled, perfectly. They were very careful in moving things so that they didn't damage the walls in the townhouse (or the items being moved). They were done in a few hours. The crew leader asked us if we wanted anything moved around within the house and if we were satisfied with the move. We were pleased with everything and, as of this date, we have not found any damage to what was moved. Before they left, I tipped each member of the crew for a job well done! We are totally pleased with the move and plan to hire Piccolo's Friendly Movers to do our final move to our new home once it is built this Fall. I highly recommend them.

It was wonderful, they arrived when they said they would, called to advise they were on their way. Packed up all my heavy furniture and moved it within the time frame specified.

We had a job scheduled by another mover to move our 4 bedroom house out of storage and into our new home. The other mover was a ?no call, no show? on the appointed date and we were at a loss of what to do. We called Piccolo?s Friendly Movers and I left a message explaining the situation. The owner, Jeff, called me back the same evening after 8:00 pm. He said he could work us in between some other jobs and move us over the course of three consecutive afternoons. I asked how long it would be before we could get in the queue and he said ?how about tomorrow?!! We were ecstatic! He sent a crew of 2 the first day and 3 the next two days and they were awesome! They were great guys ? lots of fun and easy to get along with. They handled our goods with kid gloves and took extra care because we had just had our hardwood floors redone. They helped us put felt stickies on the bottom of all the furniture as we brought it in, laid down protective blankets and didn?t leave a mark. Jeff called every day to see how things were going and to ask if the crew was working to our satisfaction. We could not have been happier with Piccolo?s and could not have had a better experience ? they were awesome! If you need a mover, these are the guys to call ? reasonable rates, ultra-careful, responsive and just a great experience. A+++++

Team showed up on time, reviewed the move, packed in organized manner & took care with furniture & walls. Friendly, excellent service!

What happened was, they asked for a review, we gave a review but we felt a little pressured because we were done and they wanted it on the spot. We had not unwrapped a number of things which as it turned out there was some breakage. Most of the people that were working were very polite. But I think we rushed to make a review, in retrospect not a good thing. They said, well, if you wait till later, you get really busy. But you know, at the end of a move you just want them out of your hair. The people on the ground were really good people and good workers. We really didn't know the condition of some things until they were well out the door. We didn't have a huge number of things broken, but 5 or 6 things is a lot but we had a lot to move. They quoted the price but underestimated what was to be moved, so we had to go out the second day of the move and purchase boxes at their request at a local place. They estimated over the phone and never came to survey the job and I think that was the other thing that was probably a slip up. I don't think overall we were unhappy with their service but I guess every move has some issues. They showed up the day they said they would.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience. The day before our move Jeff called to confirm our appointment, he was very friendly and helped put my mind at ease. The morning of our move the movers were running ahead of schedule and called to make sure an early arrival would be ok. When they arrived they did a walk through of our old house and gave us an estimate of how long the move would take and then they quickly got to work. Things went very smoothly at our old house and when they arrived at our new house they were just as quick and efficient. They estimated that the move would take 7 hours but they finished early. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about how professional, efficient, and personable they were, although we are not planning on moving again anytime soon I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The crew was on time. They walked through the house, room by room, to review the items to be taken. They began moving boxes while I finished packing. They moved one truck then came backe for a second load. Finished in about 9 hours.

We needed a few large pieces of furniture moved around our home, including a baby grand piano. Four gentlemen came over and moved everything very quickly. I was very pleased with my overall experience. The only issue I have is with the amount of time you have to purchase. It is a minimum of 4 hours for $500.00 (4 )movers. I only needed a little over an hour, but had to pay the entire price plus tip.
