The overall experience was excellent! The gentlemen arrived promptly and several phone calls from this company were made detailing exact arrival times. The movers unassembled items, wrapped and secured them meticoulously and transported them with much care to our residence. The arrival time was made in a timely manner and the gentlemen worked quickly and efficiently. Bobby and Tyler are a true asset to this company. Jeff worked with me as I had to schedule this move at the last minute. And eventhough his team had to travel a distance to the initial destination, Jeff was more than eager to help me arrange this move. I called many companies prior and no one could help with my move...but Piccolo's went the extra mile to help at a moment;s notice. Extraordinary service!!!

I can't recommend Piccolo enough. On the rare occasions where he couldn't pick up the phone, Jeff almost always responded within a couple of hours. The crew that performed the pack out and move was amazing. Nothing was broken. Best of all, Piccolo was almost half the next lowest quote. I was hesitant because I'm a believer in "you get what you pay for", but the entire experience was great.

I would highly recommend using this company for your moving needs. We had hired another moving company to move us on a Sunday. They never showed up. I called Piccolo's, still on a Sunday, and they could not have been more helpful. They were able to come out the next day. They were on time, extremely nice and very professional. They charged exactly what they told me they would charge. They turned a very stressful situation for me into a pleasant one.

The movers were awesome! John, Micah and Brian did an amazing job with all of my things. Everything was taken apart perfectly and moved and reassembled into my new house. They were very experienced and new exactly how to move my things. The owner, Jeff, was very responsive and quick to return my calls. The price was very close to that he quoted and it was fair. They did a great job!

As before everything was handled carefully and professionally. The guys showed up on time, actually arriving early. We quickly took inventory, and they began wrapping and moving our items. The two man crew worked quickly, but carefully. Considering a few other items were added after the fact, the price was still in range. I would definitely use them again if I had to move.

Arrived on time and worked diligently - methodically following the pre-negotiated inventory list. Crew were also kind enough to move a couple items not listed.

Great communication throughout the entire process. No surprises and no hidden costs. The professionals wrapped everything with blankets and shrink wrap and nothing got damaged.

We were extremely pleased with this moving company. We have moved a number of times with various results from moving companies. There are several reasons we would (and have) recommended Piccolo's. First and over the phone quote was quite helpful. The result (due to my over estimate of the amount to be moved) was a bill below the quoted amount. But more importantly, the movers called as they were on the way and arrived when agreed upon. They worked quickly, professionally and treated our furniture as though it was their own. The crew that did the work was polite and willing to answer any questions we had. They packed, unpacked, reassembled and placed our furniture exactly where we wanted. In one case I had miscalculated the size of one of the rooms and we needed to change the furniture configuration - they did this willingly and did not make me feel as though I was imposing upon them. All in all, we were so pleased that we have just booked them for our next move which will be in a couple of months. We most definitely recommend this company!!!

Price estimate given on the phone by Jeff immediately, final price came in a little under the upper part of the range. Received multiple confirmation phone calls, guys arrived at 2 different locations with 2 different trucks as expected. They were friendly, professional, and kept working without issue. Sure, they chatted from time to time, but generally seemed to get along well and consequently worked as a team. They had issues getting a sofa bed pushed back into place, but got it done without complaint and made sure they tied it together so it wouldn't happen when we go to move the sofa bed again. They were also good at making sure everything got into the POD and storage unit safely. All of the guys were great about wrapping everything to keep it safe, more than I ever would - but much appreciated! I would hire them again - and just may have to when it comes to loading the stuff from the storage unit into another POD for travel! It's nice to stand out of the way and watch them work so effortlessly. No regrets whatsoever and happy to recommend their services.

Buyers BEWARE!! Jeff Piccolo comes off very professional, however, he never answers his phone - always calls back. We had Piccolo's move some furniture in August. During the move the movers damaged the wall going up the stair case - they pointed this out right away. Since they seemed sincere we ended telling Jeff to give us a $50 credit and we would take care of the repairs. That part went well - the crew was courteous and appreciative of the tip we gave them. After they left we discovered damage to or leather love seat. We immediately contacted Jeff - he told us to send him some pictures. Based on the photos we sent Jeff told us to obtain a quote for a repair. I asked Jeff about his insurance and he stated that he has a $1000 deductible so he would most likely not submit it to his insurance. We received an estimate of $1200, after many emails, phone calls, message left, etc... Jeff got back to us and wanted to get a second opinion, we agreed. At this point the return emails and phone calls from Jeff were few and far between - although several times he stated he is a man of his word and since "this isn't life or death - what's the rush", I am on vacation. After more weeks went by we contacted our lawyer who sent Jeff an email correspondence - no one seems to know his address. After a week Jeff emailed to say that he had a death in the family and he would be in touch - never heard from him again. Unfortunately our lawyer recommended we do not waste our money in small claims court because while we would certainly win the claim ( we have all of the emails and voice messages from Jeff) - in all likely hood based on the actions to date - we would never receive any money. When searching for a mover we saw negative and positive reviews about Piccolos - the reason being - if nothing goes wrong and there is no damage its a positive experience. We experienced what the other negative reviews stated - we had issues and Piccolo never resolved them. Do not be fooled like I was. Update 11/23/2016 - Do not trust jeff piccolo. He tries to come across trustworthy with a picture of himself and his daughter. My husband wrote the last negative review dated 11/15/16. Every thing we wrote was true however Jeff's response was full of lies. There was no discussion about a certain piece of furniture not fitting up the stairs, we never said try your best. We moved on Aug 26 which was a Friday, my husband called jeff on Monday to inform him the back of our loveseat was damaged. The movers put it in place against the wall we never looked at the back of the loveseat. The damage to the wall was done by the metal base of the loveseat. Never did they do a walk through after all furniture was in our house. Never did we get a response for an estimate from Jeff. Jeff states he went only one week without contacting my husband, that is so far from the truth. We have all emails and calls we made over the last 3 months. Our attorney contacted Jeff twice by email and no response besides Jeff responded "ok". Not sure what that meant. If you take notice to the negative reviews, Jeff always tries to come across as the nice guy and never his fault. He truly is a dishonest man as you see this is still not resolved. Please don't allow Jeff to continue to take advantage of honest hardworking people.

A bit rough. They had a hard time negotiating their moving truck down narrow streets, low hanging utility wires and low tree branches. Did have to park their truck a few blocks away which increased the price of moving. A bonus was another family had canceled so I was able to have 3 additional men and another truck available to help me move. Even though the original price quoted did double due to not being able to park near my house. It wasn't their fault and had no way of knowing all the trees, wires and parking would be an issue. They worked like a very well oiled machine. I just stayed out of the way and let them do their job.

Poorly. Do not do business with this company. Research beyond Angie's List; the company does not exist beyond Angie's List and a four page web site.

Bobby and Danny were great. My furniture was extremely heavy and needed to be taken up to a second floor apartment. I would recommend using this team. Everything went as planned. They were there on time and did exactly what they needed to do.

Working with Jeff up to the move was very good. There was one snafu when he called to confirm the wrong date (Was supposed to be August 6th, but he said the 7th) and that got my wife worried, but I called him right back and he confirmed the correct date. On day of the move, his 4 man crew called about 10 min out and confirmed their arrival. The four guys came in, surveyed everything that needed to be padded, shrink wrapped, etc and got right to work. The movers were very nice, professional and worked hard. They took great care to make sure they communicated everything with us. There was one instance where a leg was broken off of a cheap dresser, and they let us know right away. It was no big deal, and was easily fixed. All of the furniture was placed in the rooms and set up the way we wanted it. When I got on the phone at the end of the move, Jeff asked how his guys did, and was very interested our satisfaction.

Based on these great reviews we've hired them to move us on a Sunday. I wonder if that was the issue. The guys that showed up there were definitely not professional movers. They damaged a dresser and broke a side table. We are having to throw these items away. The main issue is that they were very slow. Jeff Picollo called me to collect the payment but never asked for any feedback at the end of the job. I don't blame the guys that came over. They were friendly but couldn't handle this type of job. One of them was lying on the floor after moving some stuff and we caught them just chatting for a while in the truck when the job was a time and materials after 4 hours. Also, the job was supposed to start at 7AM but there were delayed until 10AM. Yes, I know they had problems the night before, but that was not my problem.

This could not have possibly gone more smoothly. They showed up to our townhouse about 15 minutes early. I took our three kids and pet to the new house and they coordinated with my husband. They had the furniture disassembled, wrapped and on the truck with our boxes within about 3 hours. At the new house they reassembled everything and placed it all for us. They even managed to deal with two tricky twin beds that somehow had about 1,000 parts a piece! They were very fast, really nice guys, very careful. We've unpacked about 85% of the boxes and so far, not a single thing broken. All said, they managed to move us in about 6 hours. Worth every penny and more!

It was pleasant experience during a stressful time. From start to finish - a great job.

All went very well. The movers were prompt, very professional and courteous. They wrapped all furniture carefully with padded blankets and plastic wrap, methodically moving items out of house and into the truck. The entire move was completed in 6 hours, including the 1.5 hour drive from house to house. I've never used movers before and was sure glad for their help, they really made the transition to our new home go so much smoother and stress free than I thought possible. I'm really happy that I found the listing for Piccolo's movers on Angies list. I am very pleased with the services received and would recommend them highly.

The price was fine. We had moved a year ago using a different mover to move to the place we are currently in, and they were top notch quality. I probably would have been satisfied with these people, but seeing the other people do more like covering things better, and protecting the floor.

The service was excellent. They booked the appointment on short notice, they were on time and the team the sent was courteous and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently.

Had very good communication with Jeff upfront. He was responsive and professional. The guys were on time, courteous, efficient and very thorough. They asked lots of questions about what I wanted, where I wanted it, etc. Everything was moved with great care - nothing scratched nor broken. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

My daughter moved into her first apartment and we went out on Angie's List and located Piccolo's Friendly Movers out of York. They did an excellent job, just a super job. They said they do offer an Angie's List discount so I am going to go to the web page to print out the rebate form so I can get a $25 discount. I highly recommend their services. They called ahead and actually called a couple of days in advance to reconfirm the moving date because of the holidays. The people were very personable, the owner was personable and they really took their time in the moving making sure everything was done carefully. You could not ask for a better group of guys, the owner as well as the two guys that came out.
