Description of Work: They put a drain and pump in my garage and part of my basement to keep the water from coming it. It works.

Description of Work: These guys were very eager to get our business, but their service was overpriced and I'm not sure it actually did any good. We still get efflorescence (mineral deposits) on our basement walls, and some damp spots on the basement floor. | |The workers did not take care to make sure the concrete they put over the drainage pipe around the perimeter of the basement was smooth and level with the surrounding floor. I'm left to correct that myself because I wasn't down there watching them work and scrutinizing it every minute. So if I ever put carpet down in the basement, I've got to grind down the high spots myself. | |There were little nitpicky things as well. The plastic track they put around the perimeter of the basement was not mitered in the 45-degree corners, but rather just bent as well as they could. This causes the plastic to sit as much as 3/4" away from the wall in some cases, which they tried (and failed) to address with tons of silicone caulk. | |Also, they were supposed to provide a gasket on the sump pit lid to seal around where the pump's electrical wires come out. We had two sump pits, and they only provided one gasket. It took upwards of 5 calls to get them to come out and provide me with a $3 part. | |When I left feedback on their website, they finally called me like they cared about the situation. I'm disappointed with their professionalism, their lack of followup, and their lack of quality control. They have what seems like a great idea, but execution is severely lacking.

Description of Work: Their offer was not what we were looking for regarding sump pump and basement repair. They were selling aeration that they did not guarantee. We paid a charge for the visit that we could have obtained the information free elsewhere. The fee would have been credited to work if they had been able to meet our needs. Description of Work: Had basement waterproofed. Josh, the estimator, gave me a detailed explanation of the science behind wet basements. Why and how they get wet. He then thoroughly explained how their system works to prevent wet basements. It made perfect sense to me, and that is why I chose them to do the work. The team that came to do the actual work was very professional. They put up plastic sheeting to protect my things. Then began the work. It was dusty,but the team cleaned up after they were done. They estimated that the work would take three days, but they finished in two. They explained how the sump pump worked, and what I had to do to maintain it.
