He got back to me within 24 hours but my hubby had already contracted with someone else. Since it is their busy season we didn't want to get stuck waiting till the fall to have our work done since its not that big of a job. He was very nice and pleasant when he called, I would call him back if i ever needed anything done, hes also local.

Extremely positive! He is terrific, I will certainly get a quote from him anytime I'm going to do anything. He is a very hardworking and extremely pleasant individual. He goes an extra mile.

It went very well. Tritan is very responsive, professional and does great work. He really takes pride in the job and makes sure it is done properly.

Contacted Tristan by phone to discuss the job, which was not a big job in my kitchen, but needed to be done professionally. He quickly responded, provided an agreed upon estimate, and completed the job in three separate visits. He was prompt, did a professional job, covered the work area while he was working, and cleaned up after working. Very impressed that he took on this small job. Excellent! I am very meticulous, fussy and concerned about the small details. Tristan called back promptly to set up an appointment to see the problem, arrived on time, quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and arranged a date to come by and do the repair. He carefully disassembled the defective tile area in the shower, repaired the damage and reinstalled the tile back in place. His work was fabulous. You cannot tell that the tile was ever touched. It looks perfect and even the new grout matches flawlessly with the rest of the shower. He researched the tiles and grout and amazingly found exact matches for everything. I could not be happier with his work. This was a small job but he still found time to quickly fit me into his schedule. He is patient, friendly and very attentive to small details. He also carefully listens to and takes care of all your concerns and needs before, during and after the job is done.

I contacted Mr. Mayer by email on January 16 regarding installation of a vanity in my remodeled bathroom. He responded that he might be able to drop by for an estimate during the weekend of January 18-19. I subsequently received an email that he was unavailable at that time and inquired as to my availability during the week of January 20. I advised that I was available on either January 21 or 22, receiving an answer that he would stop by on Tuesday, January 21, between 5:30-6:00 p.m. Unfortunately, this was the date of a snowstorm. However, I received no notification that he would not keep our appointment, nor have I heard anything further from him. I selected this contractor based on reviews on Angie's List. Needless to say, I am very disappointed by his lack of professionalism and failure to maintain adequate communication.

We were very happy with Tristan's work. We were always aware of any upcoming costs, he was here early and stayed late, and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Very pleased!

Tristan did a great job fitting our doors to our frames. It was not a simple job because the frames were far from square. We will have him back to install a new kitchen floor because the work on the doors shows he has great skill and a hard work ethic.

. Tristan did a great job, he worked with us to get us what we wanted, also caught a dangerous problem in a supporting beam that had warped and rotted and repaired it as well. He was very detail oriented and addressed all of our concerns. Follow up for a minor issue was taken care of quickly. We would hire him again with no reservations!

Tristan was very responsive during the entire process. He always responded promptly to emails, texts or phone calls. He did the job exactly as promised. He was very professional and did great work. He really cared about his work and wanted to make sure I was happy with the job. He installed a vanity, toilet and all plumbing associated. The walls need a lot of prep work (spackleing). The entire job looked great.

I received a response to my first email within hrs. A consultation appt was set up and Tristan was on time. Even called prior to confirm. I received his written estimate within the timeframe he gave me. Once the estimate was accepted, a tentative time and date was established. I travel for work so that delayed the work by one week. Tristan confirmed that he was coming the evening before he was scheduled. He arrived at the scheduled time and ready to begin the job. He completed all work within the estimated timeframe. His work is excellent, he pays attention to details. He and his worker Joe were respectful of my home. I was without this bathroom for almost 9months. It turned out beautiful. Have already asked Tristan for an estimate for my second bathroom. I would highly recommend this young man.

Tristan is a talented and meticulous craftsman. He will not settle for anything less than perfect and goes out of his way to make sure you, the customer, are happy. In every situation where he could have cut corners he made sure that he provided the best solution to a problem. I loved his work and highly recommend him.

He was terrific - - very responsive and treated my home like his own. I had some outdated oak kitchen cabinets and he painted them all white and put new hardware on that matches the look of my appliances. The kitchen really looks like new. He paid a lot of attention to detail and the work was meticulous. I also liked the fact that Tristan had so much enthusiasm for the work. I'm not sure whether he was more excited or I was.

Tristan is great. Very easy to work with, dedicated and pays attention to detail. He has become our goto guy for almost everything we need around the house.

8/6/2013 Tristan did a wonderful job with a very old bathroom. He let us know any additions to the price before going ahead. We are very pleased with how it turned out. He is very easy to work with and very polite.

Tristan quickly returned my initial call for an estimate and in a very reasonable time came by to look at the job. His price was very fair and we booked the job with him. He came by exactly when he said he would and meticulously took apart the loose tile area that was a problem. He showed me why the tiles came loose and explained how he would fix it. The job was completed in about a day and looks perfect. You cannot tell that the area was repaired...it looks like nothing was ever amiss. He even matched the grout color perfectly. This is exactly what we wanted! We are very satisfied with the quality of Tristan's work and the neat careful way that he proceeds with each phase of the job. He is a highly skilled professional and is very pleasant to work with. We will be calling him back for more repair jobs around our hme.

Tristan was great to work with and goes above and beyond what's expected. A true Professional from initial consult to completion. He totally renovated our 19 year old guest bathroom and the results were beautiful ! He takes incredible pride in his work and it shows. I just went through a proposal with them. I am still working with them right now. We didn’t finalize; I need to get the contract yet. But everything has gone well so far. The quote process so far has been smooth. The price was reasonable. Most likely I will go with them. It's a long process. It's attached to the purchase of the home in order for us to use them; that's why it is taking a while.

They were professional. They came out and were courteous and prompt.

We had what you might call, a dysfunctional downstairs powder room, that Tristan completely remodeled, top to bottom. He went with us to the home improvement store, and patiently helped us pick out the medicine cabinet, toilet, tile, faucet, lighting, fan, accessories and trim. (we already had a new sink and cabinet waiting to be installed). He left us a paint chip book, so we could mull over colors, and did an excellent job painting. I gave him a complex request for the floor tiling, which was carried out impeccably. Tristan is bright, personable, trustworthy and talented. Everything from the paint job, to finishing work turned out beautifully, and in a timely manner. Tristan carefully listened to our needs, and is a joy to work with.

The exterior front entrance of the house needed to be painted and some structural repairs needed to be made. Of course I called Tristan Mayer again because of his meticulous attention to detail, his honesty and his ability to manage a project in a timely and cost effective way. I highly recommend Tristan Mayer and will certainly call him again for another home improvement project I have planned.

Mr. Mayer went out of his way, notifying us promptly of a change in his schedule, which could accommodate our need for quick drywall repair, as we were having our home appraised for a refinancing. He repaired an entire bathroom that had old wallpaper improperly removed with significant drywall damage on all walls. He also repaired a ceiling patch in another room that had been partially repaired by a previous workman, which was necessary because of a water leak from the bathroom above (that leak is now fixed). The job took about three days, he stripped the wallpaper, smoothed the walls with spackle, cleaned our tile floors, and matched our paint color specifically on the walls, and painted all trim and all doors, installed a new light fixture, and did a spectacular job. He left our bathroom clean and neat, and he took care to protect our hardwood floors elsewhere from his materials. His keen attention to every detail and professional finishes went way beyond our expectations. As stated above, we have had others do repair work in our home, but there is no comparison to the high level of quality workmanship and professionalism that Mr. Mayer provided to us . We look forward to securing his services for other home repair items such as carpentry, which we have scheduled for the future, and will provide a review for that service when it is provided.
