Wow! From day one of this 3 week project we were impressed. He makes sure to protect everything with dropcloths and mats. During demo he found issues that the builder did with our 40+ year old townhouse and corrected them. The drywall and painting was amazing. His attention to detail and recommendations were spot on. The tile work...absolutely jaw dropping. He is so professional and punctual. There was not a day where he did not stay past 5 which was fine by us. We are absolutely satisfied with his work.

Tristan exceeded our expectations in workmanship, design creativity, thoroughness, punctuality, and all with a pleasant and professional demeanor. We will definitely hire Tristan again for our next home improvement project!

Tristan was wonderful to work with right from the start with our estimate. He was always on time, and very considerate of our coming and going as to not be in our way. Tristan spent time explain what he had accomplished each day, ensuring that we were satisfied with the work he had done that day. We will most certainly reach out to Tristan to help us with future.

I asked Tristan to do a complete remodel of a small guest bathroom. . Tristan and his team did an excellent job from start to finish. I live in a 2nd floor condo and the bathroom is a small space. He was super careful about the surroundings and my furniture, laid down non-slip plastic and covered the door while doing anything that left dust etc. Tristan takes his time to do the job right. I was very impressed by his punctuality, diligence, the very high quality of his work, and his desire to make sure that I was pleased. I highly recommend him! He is as good as it gets!

This was the third home improvement project that Tristan completed on our home (master bath and complete kitchen remodel were the other two). Tristan is a pleasure to work with. He is a meticulous craftsman who truly cares what the finished product looks like down to the littlest details. He is willing to listen to what you want and ensure that his work meets your needs. He exceeded our expectations on each project he completed.

This was our second bathroom job we had Tristan do for us. He is extremely professional, punctual and neat. He protects your property as if it was his own and does the best job he can to keep the "mess" under control. He is very talented and takes pride in his work. Everything he did for us was top notch. He is able to overcome any issues he encounters with the renovation and make it look seamless. Great quality work and I would highly recommend.

First, let me say that when a contractor is going to be in your house all day (in my case for 2+ months) it is important that it is someone you can get along well with. Tristan arrives on time, always lets you know if there is any schedule change and is totally professional and dependable. His work is impeccable. If there is something you don't like he fixes it. In my case, several mistakes were made by the cabinetry company and the electrician. He fixed them - flawlessly. When the owner of the cabinetry company came back to see how everything looked he said Tristan did a "phenomenal job"...which he did. In the future I will be remodeling my third floor, including 3 bedrooms and a bath. Again, I wouldn't think of hiring anyone else for a third major project...can't be any higher praise than that.

As the business owner, Tristan, takes extreme pride in his work from start to finish. He does the quoting, supply runs, most of the labor, and does so quite promptly. He's a busy guy filling multiple roles in his business, and I admire his dedication to provide a high level of quality at a fair price. The remodeling work he performed in our kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room were done so at a high level of quality. He pays a lot of attention to the details and provides valuable feedback throughout the process. I would hire him for any further work we need in the future.

His communication is great. We traded emails and texts on questions I had before the job started. He showed up at 8AM on the dot the first day. He was always on time, very clean when working in the house, and did a wonderful job. He is a great communicator, and very honest and straightforward. I will definitely use his services again.

Tristan' is a true craftsman who cares very much about the quality of the work he does. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable with what has been done, what will be done and the time frame of the project. In addition to the superior work, he has excellent people skills in dealing with his customer. We have used him for a master bath remodel, kitchen remodel and will be using him in the future for a laundry room remodel.

Tristan was an absolute pleasure to work with. I found him through Angie's list after seeing his good reviews. He gave us a fair price that was drastically less than another estimate we got. For our master bath, another contractor quoted us $4,500 more than Tristan. It is obvious that Tristan is a very honest person who has pride in what he does and really cares about making his clients happy. Tristan and his worker Chris were very dependable and punctual, showing up each day and working until the job was complete. They did excellent work. We actually picked tile that was most likely difficult to work with due to the color variation and they did a beautiful job laying out the tile and our bathrooms look wonderful. They completely gutted our bathrooms and re did them and they look perfect. Tristan took care in addressing every detail and his thoroughness really shows. They also cleaned up at the end of each day to the point that you could not tell that construction was being done. When they redid our master bathroom we were still able to sleep in our room and we were not inconvenienced at all. I would highly recommend him and feel that he is a trustworthy contractor. I will absolutely use him again for future work and was very pleased with the whole experience.

He wrote out the contract and emailed it to me, he said he was going to come over to sign it and give us a copy. At that time I showed him the tub and he took the measurements and he said it was all good to go and I could go ahead and purchase it. He then emailed me saying September 28th, 29th and 31 he could stop by and and figure out the down payment. He didn't show up and said the start date would be about a month after supplies are delivered and then in October I messaged him because he never got hold of me. He then replied saying that he had tried to contact me that he was in the area but he never actually go a hold of me. Apologized saying there must be some miscommunication and i clarified that I did reach out to him and he never replied. He just made excuses that the email was "error" and when I reached out to him again as of December 14th he said he was very busy and would be available the week after new years and he has never gotten a hold of me since. Would not recommend this company

Most professional and responsive contractor I have ever worked with. Gave me an estimate and scheduled work quickly. Communicated regularly with me by email to update me on timeline for work, invoice, and revised invoice indicating deposit was paid. Quality was excellent. Will use again and will recommend to friends.

As above- Tristan involved us every step of the way getting our input when changes needed to be made. His time estimate was right on the money, and his assistant Ray was also a pleasure to work with. No negatives at all, As we said he has done other major work for us including a total bathroom redo from demolition to studs up. Its refreshing to find an honest contractor that delivers!!!

All of our work went well, fine details were included, and the jobs were completed to our satisfaction. We decided not to have our kitchen cabinets painted at the time and wanted to consult with Tristan to do the work. He never pressured us into doing the work. We eventually had another contractor paint them, because Tristan was not available in August of 2015 and we were not thrilled with how they turned out, but we note that the condition and type of cabinets has a lot to do with the final outcome. We mention this because we see someone gave Tristan an F on this site, just because their cabinet paint job did not turn out as they expected. In contrast to that person, we paid our contractor for our paint job, even though there were many corrections that were needed - we would never refuse to pay a contractor for honest work performed, and then give them a bad rating on Angie's List as well. We believe that Angie's List should remove negative reports when the person making such complaints has not paid for the work complained of, especially when the contractor has made extraordinary efforts to mediate the situation.

We used Tristan last year for a complete bathroom remodel and we contacted him again to do our kitchen. He has always been prompt, professional and trustworthy. On this job and the last job his work has been meticulous. He removed all of our cabinets and painted them, took out old linoleum and installed engineered hardwood and did a subway tile backsplash. He also suggested recessed lighting; which we LOVE. Everything he does, he does the right way. We will use him again in the future without question.

Was very cordial, although we didn't appreciate him coming into our house and then stepping into our clean bathtub with his dirty boots on. Said he would send us a quote shortly.. Never received it. Sent him an email.. He said he was responding to all his quotes and if we couldnt wait he understood.. Responded to his email that we would wait and he was told from the first time we met him becuase of the busy season that we could wait to have work done when he wasn't busy....... Never heard back from him.

I never heard from them after my phone call.

We can't say enough about the service that was provided. Tristan gave us an estimate that fit our budget. Because we were supplying all of the finishing materials (tiles, vanity, toilets, lights, mirrors, etc), he gave us a to-do list and a list of resources that he had used in the past. We were able to use his builders' discount for the places that he had used, which was extremely helpful to keep us within budget. Throughout the course of the work, he was open about letting us know of any problems he came across. This was anticipated by us because of the age of the house. Started his days punctually and worked full days, always cleaning up at the end of each day. He is very meticulous about his work and was very professional. It was a pleasure working with him and we plan on remodeling our kitchen next year and will definitely call Tristan!

After contacting Tristan via Angie's List, I received a quick reply and he was out at our house within a week take a look. He measured and responded a few days with an estimate. His estimate was within the range of the other estimates we received and he also came highly recommended, having done work with for two families we know. Overall we couldn't be happier with how our bathroom turned out. From day one of the project Tristan was extremely professional and his work is top quality. He kept the work area clean, respecting the fact that we needed to live in the room adjacent to where the work was being done, leaving it neat and tidy every before he left each day. He'd also end each day telling us what he accomplished and what he was planning for the following day, which we really appreciated.

Tristan came out to look at our bathroom and give ideas for a complete remodel for our master bathroom. He was pleasant and on time. I liked his ideas and he seemed very professional. I told him my difficulties with other contractors not getting back to me with their estimates and following up after their first visit. He laughed and assured me that this wouldn't happen with him. He told me that he would get back to me in 1 week with a proposal on the bathroom. We even talked about finishing my basement when he was done with my bathroom. I also told him I wanted the job to start soon, he told me there would be no problem. I received no response. I am very disappointed especially since I specifically told him about my problems with other contractors not responding to me. Very unprofessional.

Tristan is a true craftsman. His work exceeded ouir expectations. He is meticulous and cares about the final look. He planned out the decorative tile that we had so that certain tiles would be located where they would be the most viewed and have the most effect. His work is truly outstanding. He worked only on our bathroom until it was completed and would show up every morning like clockwork. He took time to make sure things were done right and would consult with us to ensure what he was doing was exactly what we wanted. We also relied on his advice and guidance as to various aspects of the remodel. We plan on using Tristan again when we do a kitchen remodel.

Working with Tristan was a pleasure and I highly recommend him based on the following: Professionalism: From my interactions and his performance on the project, it is clear that Tristan is a very knowledgeable and skilled professional. Additionally, he was true to his word, very hard working and reliable. He was very focused on the project and never complained about anything. Customer Focus: I obtained estimates from several contractors, but Tristan stood out because he actually took the time to fully understand the scope of the job and asked intelligent questions. I?m sure that there are many contractors that know the trade well, but it is a challenge to find someone that has the people skills and the customer focus to make the experience less strenuous ? this is clearly one of Tristan?s strengths. He understood my requirements and did an excellent job communicating before and during the project, providing the right level of updates and consultations. Quality and Attention to Detail: Tristan deeply cares about the details and completing the job right. He took the time to explain the building materials that were used on the job, and why those were picked over others. The end result demonstrates his commitment to quality.

The Bathroom turned out perfect, in fact beyond our expectations. Tristan helped us work through some rough ideas we had and translate them into a workable design. Tristan was able to open up an unused wall in the bathroom and reroute a pipe, resulting in a shower stall that was almost 2x bigger than the old one. Tristan installed tile on all 4 walls of the bathroom, installed the plumbing and fixtures as well as the cabinet. Tristan is a perfectionist, and won't stop until he gets it right. He showed up everyday until the Job was complete, and is very easy to work with. We are using Tristan on another bathroom project in the next few weeks.
