Tristan Mayer Home Improvement specializes in custom bathroom, kitchen remodeling. All work is performed by me Tristan Mayer - the owner, who was born and raised in Yardley, PA. I decided to start my own company to provide customers with both trust and quality. I have been well known for my eye to detail and am meticulous in my work because I believe that customers should get exactly what they want when it comes to their home. I take pride in my work and treat each home as if it were my own. I stand behind all of my work and guarantee you will never have to search for a contractor again.

Description of Work: Remodeled two bathrooms over 20 days. Did an excellent job tiling the walls and floors. Showed up on time and were terrific craftsmen. The final product looks like something out of a magazine. Beautiful work and cleaned up well. Professional from start to finish. Honest and reliable. I will definitely use Tristan and his partner again in the future.

Description of Work: Tristan was great at the job we hired him to do. He accepted add-on work and did an outstanding job. Last year we followed up with him for a floor tile job and received an estimate but when we went back six months later to accept he told us he had to double his estimate. We did not use him for that job but would use him again if his price was reasonable in relation to other quotes received.

Sorry I couldn't help you with this project. I do in fact have a New Jersey license 13VH07367600 and can work in new Jersey no problem. However I do not like sub out my plumbing & electric to outside companies which the type of permit you required needed.

Very pleased with overall results, timeliness, and communication with the contractor. He was on time, kept us informed on progress and any issues/changes,...documented specifics on change orders, and cleaned up, Highly recommended.
Description of Work: After doing several small exterior jobs, we had a total bathroom tear out and rebuild- new tub / shower, toilet, vanity and new ceramic tile floor and shower enclosure done as well as minor electrical and plumbing hook ups.

Tristan did an excellent job. He explained the use of grout sealer to protect the tile grout in the future. He made perfect match in tile color to surrounding tiles.

It was a very positive experience from start to finish
Description of Work: A very old shower began to leak through the ceiling and drip down to the living room below. Tristan rebuilt the shower floor and replaced that tiles on the floor of the shower and the lower part of the shower enclosure. He replaced the door of the shower and repaired the living room ceiling. Then he reprinted the entire ceiling of the living room

I used Angies List for 2 of my 3 bids with Tristan being the first one I contacted. Although all three showed up to look at what needed to be done - one from Angies List never got back to me at all and the other gentleman who was not from Angies List just came across very unprofessional in his mannerisms but he was the cheapest. Tristan was very prompt in coming out and reviewing area and getting me an estimate very quickly. Although his price was a bit more - I decided to use him as he was very professional, enthusiastic and I'm very glad I did. He performed work himself. He was very prompt and courteous in his coming and going. His work was done with great care and precision. He completed the job in a timely fashion - he was extremely reliable and honest. He took extra measures to ensure the job was done to 100% satisfaction. He cleaned up very well after job and said if there was anything I thought needed touching up or anything to just give him a call. I am definitely very satisfied with his work and will use him again.
Description of Work: I had taken down old wall paper in our dining room and it needed speckling and painting. There were some spots that really needed a good speckling and sanding job and some retaping around the ceiling needed as well. There were alot of small areas around the room needing same. Not a huge job to some people but huge to me to get it done.

I had called 5 contractors from Angie's list and not one of them called me back within 48 hours. Mr. Mayer not only called back but also emailed me to make sure I received his message. From the moment he quoted me to the time the job started was approximately 4 days and when Mr. Mayer started, he didn't stop. I was amazed at how much he knew about every facet of remodeling from plumbing to electrical and even expert dry walling and painting. He worked tirelessly until the deadline was met and attended to every detail. Not only did Mr. Mayer do a fantastic job, he did it in a time crunch. He is very easy to work with and since I have the master bath to remodel within the next few months, I am hoping Mr. Mayer will be available to work on that job as well. Without a doubt I would hire Tristan Mayer Home Improvement again.
Description of Work: I hired Tristan Mayer to remodel our second bathroom. The job included floor tiling, bathtub surround tiling, installing a new shower head and faucet, installing a new shower door. We wanted to change the bathroom from having one sink to two sinks, new mirrors, new light fixtures adding another electrical box, new cabinets and painting the entire bathroom. You never know how much work is involved until you start a job and Mr. Mayer was very good at keeping me informed of his progress.

Tristan performed work himself. He was very prompt and courteous in his coming and going. The work was done with great care and precision. He completed the job in timely fashion. He was trustworthy and reliable. His prices were competitive and very reasonable. He took extra measures to ensure the job was done to 100% satisfaction. He cleaned up well after job. I am very satisfied with his work.
Description of Work: Sheet rock replaced in basement with higher quality materials at discretion of Contractor who researched conditions/needs of space. Walls were painted. Insulation removed and replaced with foam board insulation to protect against future potential flooding. Door was installed to allow for extra space and drainage in case of another flood.
