Ryan Painting's bid was not the cheapest, but I definitely got what I paid for and plan to use their services again. As the exterior was being prepped, Brendan Ryan worked with me to find just the right colors for the effect I had in mind. Two of the colors ended up being custom mixes and I am delighted with results. As the work progressed, it looked so good that I added on other work that included painting all the stucco and the painting basement doors. When rot was discovered in the trim one of the upper story windows, they repaired it at no additional cost. Over the winter, a small patch of paint peeled off the stucco. Brendan promptly came by and repainted this area when I reported it to him.

We found Ryan Painting on Angie's List. Brendan responded promptly to our request for a home visit/proposal. His proposal was received within 24 hours and was very competitively priced. Brendan estimated that the job would take 10 work days, and it did. His crew arrived promptly each morning and did a great job straightening up at the end of each day. The crew usually consisted of two painters (both of whom were great with our dogs), although additional staff was brought in on days that plastering and drywall was required. Our home was built in the 1870s and many of the walls and ceilings were in need of significant repair in addition to painting. The crew did an outstanding job! Our home looks wonderful and we're already planning to do another job next month with Brendan. I would recommend Ryan Painting to anyone.

We couldn't have had a better experience. Brendan managed to accomplish the work in a very tight schedule before we moved into our new house. The house looks great. The workers were very thourough and professional. We'll have him do the exterior when we're ready!

They had done a great job and I was extremely happy with their work. The painter had come again to review the work when I hadn’t even asked him to. He hadn’t liked the way some walls were painted. He is a young kid, and I would highly recommend him.

The entire experience of working with Ryan Painting, from start to finish, was wonderful! They were professional, knowledgeable, amazingly fast and meticulous. Very helpful with trying out a few color options (we tried not to overdo that - they were patient). We were so happy with the interior that we asked them to do a few other things (e.g. the front porch). I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They did an excellent job. Brendan (the owner) made sure that we had no-VOC paints since I am sensitive to paint fumes. We didn't like the color we chose, so Toby went out and bought another color. Toby did a fantastic job. The room looks fabulous. Toby also took care to make sure paint didn't get on the floors, etc. He put down drop clothes even in the hallway. He cleaned up after himself at the end of both days and left everything s****-and-span.

I like him personally. He didn?t personally do the work, but I was fairly happy with the work that was done. He gave me a very fair price. His employee did a very nice job.

Brendan was always on time and all the men were very professional and respectful. All of my household items were treated with great care and were generally replaced in the correct spots. After a section or room was finished, it was cleaned very nicely. Brendan had enormous patience with me, as I needed to get my colors 'just so' and it took several tries with different colors to get the right one. The cost of the paint was higher than expected because I changed several colors after the fact. It was my fault, not Brendan's.

I was very happy with the experience. The job was done excellently and Brendan was always available for consultation. The price was unbeatable.

My faith is restored in contractors! Not only were the quality of work and the price excellent, but Brendan took on the job as though he were doing his own house when it came to being sure everything was right! He helped with color choice based on our general preferences, made suggestions without pressuring us. He made us feel a part of a team working toward a common goal. I really appreciated his input and suggestions. The "finished product" still draws complements from passersby! His crew was very professional, clean, hard-working and fun to have around. I had been dreading getting this job done, but these people made the whole project interesting and fun! Brendan and crew are superb! No wonder he gets such high ratings!

He is very nice to work with and did a fantastic job on a room that had older wallpaper. When we removed the wallpaper, the wall had been damaged, so he had to repair that along with the painting. His attention to detail was so appreciated. He was very honest, professional and I know when I need a painter, I can call him. We actually have him back now to do another room and we have referred him to someone else already.

There is nothing more satisfying than dealing with first-rate professionals who do what they say they will and execute perfectly. I requested a quote. They provided it. There was a minor misunderstanding as to all that I wanted them to do. They decided it was their error and insisted, even though additional work was required, that they would honor their inital quote and complete the job to my specifications. Bad weather intervened and I did not hear but was contacted the moment the weather cooperated. They completed the job to my complete satisfaction.

Ryan painting did an outstanding job. We signed up for Angie's List specifically to find a good painter and it was well worth it because we are so satisfied with the work that was done. We had peeling paint on all of our trim and doors because a PREVIOUS painter had painted latex over oil base paint without sanding and it really needed work. Ryan painting did an excellent job remediating this by removing all of the old paint and putting a nice smooth finish on all of our trim and doors. The walls and ceiling look great too. Work started promptly each day at the agreed time. Thhey were very neat in their work and very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Ryan Painting was responsive with a visit and estimate. They were able to start work within a week. They completed the fairly large job within one week. They worked hard (on several long days) to finish the job in a timely fashion. They did not charge any extra to demonstrate alternative finishes.

I received bids from 3 painting companies (all highly rated from Angie's List). Brendan was the middle bid. he "high" bid was simply out of line with the other two. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the "low" bid apparently misunderstood the level of prep work desired. I wanted the water damage and plaster "repaired" not just "painted over". At the end of the day, we went with Brendan. Tobi and his team arrived on time and were very courteous. The prep work and painting were amazing. I had no idea their work could make my home look so good. In addition, at the end of every day, they did an excellent job of cleaning up. While I have had many contractors in my home, Tobi and his team left my home each day cleaner than they found it!

Brendan Ryan came out on Christmas Eve to talk about paint colors, I gave him a key, and the crew started on Friday as planned; they had the ceilings done and 1 coat on all the walls except the kitchen by the time I came by to check the colors on Friday evening. They only did swatches of 2 possible colors in the kitchen b/c Brendan wasn't sure I'd like the color and sure enough, I didn't, so he came out again to help me pick something else, which turned out great. They were done on time, they cleaned up after themselves, Brendan came back later to replace the switch plates, and the paint job looks great-crisp, clean, and even. I'm very pleased.

The room just needed painting, not a lot of prep work. Their estimate was extremely high, and I will not be using them.

Ryan and his crew were an excellent group of people to work with. They were all very thoughtful and asked me how I wanted everything done before they did it. They were very meticulous and precise in doing the work. They did a lot of detail work and did a great job. They worked with me to match the paint to the elements we had in each room and also on the exterior. Both the interior and exterior looked fabulous. Their painting job really helped us to sell the home quickly.

Excellent! Brendan was always prompt from our initial appointment to the completion of the job. After our initial meeting Brendan gave me a few quotes - varied due to amount of detail I wanted to do. The prices were very reasonable compared to other quotes I had received. I was very pleased with Angie's List for leading me to this painting company and I highly recommend these painters to anyone who needs their home painted! Brendan was a true pleasure to work with!

Brendan responded right away for an estimate and was able to schedule us quickly. Brendan helped with the color selection. Toby did the work, was very professional and cleaned up when finished. The job turned out great. We have used Ryan Painting before through a general contractor for a larger room and were happy with the work then as well.

I contacted Brendan Ryan, of Ryan Painting, to have the dining room, kitchen and breakfast room painted. The job also included some patching and finishing for plaster walls. I received a response the following day, set an appointment to review the job, and had an estimate by the end of the week. Brendan was prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough in his assessment of the work involved. The job was scheduled to start in 2 weeks and last 2-3 days. His crew was on site and on time, performed meticulous work and finished on time. They found they had more patching, sanding and finishing work than originally anticipated, but despite that, they stayed on schedule. The end result is beautiful. I was especially pleased and impressed with Brendan's responsiveness and professionalism. He was easily accessible to answer questions and holds his workers to the highest quality standards. I will definitely use Ryan Painting for future jobs and would highly recommend their work to others.

Brendan's work was excellent from start to finish. He responded quickly to my email inquiry, came out for the estimate and completed the work all within a week. I wanted to use eco-friendly paint, which he was very happy to use. Both Brendan and his worker were friendly and answered all my questions. When I showed my friend the room and talked about the crack she looked at the walls and asked, "What crack?" The work was beautiful!
