We had an excellent experience with this company. Brendan, the owner, could not have possibly been nicer to interact with or more professional, and everyone he sent to do the work -- Jacinto, Joseph, and Greg -- were all great. My wife and I live in a twin, and our neighbor and we have been having water issues around our chimney. Roofers have been all over the roof and couldn't find the source of the problem. Brendan again examined the roof and it seems correctly identified the source of the problem -- bad masonry repairs that were causing the chimney to absorb water -- as well as a solution: Painting the chimney with Sherwin-Williams Loxon masonry paint. I was reluctant, but I think, finally, our water problems are at end! Brendan was great about working with Sherwin-Williams to adjust the color (after the color I had chosen for the first coat was too light), and he came out himself after his long work day to paint a sample to see if we liked it. (That's what I call caring about your customers!) And all his painters did truly quality work and were careful to put drop cloths down. It took a while for them to do the work because they are so in demand and because it had rained so, so much in the past 2-3 months, but they were worth waiting for. I thought the price was maybe slightly high, but at the end of the day, well worth it considering the quality work, the time it took to patch and prep the chimney, and the good customer service. (So I just had to give them "A's" for price and punctuality.) Brendan was the only one that had finally found the solution to our water problems, so we think he's great. I would recommend this company for both roofing (they have done good work on my neighbor's slate and flat roof), and for painting jobs, both exterior and interior. They are very nice people, do great work, and inspire trust, so after our experience we think their good reputation is very well deserved.

Brendon from Ryan Painting LLC gave me a prompt response and estimate for repair plaster work in the Dining Room. His team (Rob and Greg) showed up promptly at the scheduled time. They did an excellent job, were very professional, extremely neat and clean and came back 2 days later after the plaster repair was cured. Excellent company to work and I highly recommend Ryan Painting LLC for your needs. Great job Brendon, Rob and Greg. Brendan responded immediately to my initial inquiry and was able to schedule us quickly although it was so close to Christmas. The drywall work came out clean and smooth and the team is very professional. These guys are top-notch; we HIGHLY recommend Ryan!

I have used Ryan Painting several times over the last 8 years for exterior painting and repairs. I first used them back in 2007. They painted the entire exterior of my home (aluminum siding) and my newly built wood front porch (the porch was built by another contractor that i would not recommend). The house looked like new and I got many compliments (and many remarks from people that didn't realize aluminum siding can be painted). Brendan told me the paint job should last me 10 years. 8 years later it still looks great. I have had them back over the years to repaint my front porch as well as do repair work to the wood as it ages (the wood front porch takes a beating from the weather). I am always very pleased with their work. This past Spring, Tito and his crew worked on the porch. They are a very nice group of guys and did a great job replacing many rotted areas on the porch and painting it. They also power washed my house. I had them back recently to paint the outside of my large barn shed and they did a great job. The shed is vinyl siding and, again, some people were surprised it could be painted. Brendan is very knowledgeable and always knows the right paint for the job. I don't think they are the lowest price out there but you get what you pay for. I think their prices are fair and I always know that they will take my job seriously and address any concerns i have. They truly want their customer to be fully satisfied. 8 years ago when I had my front porch built I decided to go with wood (rather than vinyl or a composite) because I knew it would look best on my older home. I knew that going with wood would require ongoing maintenance. I am so glad that i found Ryan Painting and I know i can have them out every few years to do quality work and maintenance on the exterior of my home. I've never used them for interior painting but i would not hesitate to do so. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future.

Fairly priced. Did everything we asked with no complaints. They were sitting outside in the morning waiting for the appointed time - and left everything clean and nice. The work looks terrific.

We called Ryan Painting for an estimate to paint the outside of our house. It was a BIG job! Three stories, shingled house built in 1896. Lots and LOTS of flaking paint everywhere, >30 windows, 6 on 1. Woodwork and brackets. We went back and forth a couple of times, since the job was so large and we were trying to figure out how to fit it in our budget but still have it done properly. Someone (can?t remember the name) from the company came (right on time) first, but then Brendan came himself to answer more specific questions. We scheduled the job in the winter so that we would be the first to be lined up in the Spring and I have to say that things could not have gone more smoothly. Tito was our foreman: he and the crew worked tirelessly and were extremely clean and careful to not get any chips on our neighbors? yard. Lots of the other (slightly) cheaper companies I called, when asked to describe the actual job, started by mentioning power washing, which in our case would not have worked at all?the neighbors are feet away, the house is tall and power washing would have sent paint chips flying everywhere, especially since there were many layers of old flaking paint. The crew scraped everything by hand, after covering every surface around them (soil and bushes included). At the end of the stripping phase, there was very little of the old paint left, most of the shingles being taken back to bare wood. Tito is a skilled carpenter and he was able to fix some of the old windows that had come apart with time. Some of the metal roofing details had also deteriorated, as well as some of the downstairs sills, which had started to show some rot. As they were painting, Tito was able to fix details instead of ignoring them and painting over anything, which really makes a difference in terms of how good the job looks. Tito, and Brendan, are obviously very knowledgeable about colors, so although we had our own color scheme, they helped on some of the details. They found ways to properly highlight the existing features, with their proposals which always were very elegant and tasteful. At the end of the job, Tito was very much of a stickler, going around and addressing any little detail that might have been out of place. The result is an amazing look, I have been getting many compliments on how good the house looks and how solid the paint seems to be. Brendan and the crew are a pleasure to work with and really worked with us to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. With little kids in the house, they were extra careful with cleanliness and at the end of the job I trusted them with the keys to our house. I would hire them again in a heartbeat?actually, I did! Brian is the most polite, pleasant and patient contractor I have ever worked with!! Finally a comment on cost. Ryan Painting was not the cheapest quote I got, but it was not the highest by a long shot. I think that the end price was more than fair considering the amount of work and how professional everyone was.

Brendan promptly responded to work request, came out for estimate, and scheduled work to be done in our time frame. Technicians were neat, clean and courteous. When they were done they cleaned up thoroughly, even dusting the shelves of an open corner cabinet. This is my second time using this company, and it won't be my last!

Greg and Mike arrived on September 24 at 8:00 A.M. promptly and set up ladders, all equipment. They followed through with power wash, scraping, all preps as requested by Brendan (owner) of Ryan painting. The job is almost complete including stair well, awning in back, doors, front porch floor finished on Oct. 6, with front door painted, and gray paint around border of front porch. I am very pleased with all painting including between windows and Greg and Mike assisting with take down of storm windows, screens, and replacing. The initial complaint of Contact was resolved although I was at first concerned by lack of communication. When Brendan did finally contact via phone message; emails didn't seem to work at first until I did e-mail him I had reported to Angie's List. We did resolve the problem and Brendan's apology and deduction for work further resolved the matter. He also explained he had a lot of painting jobs this year; he said an unusual amount of painting jobs.

Ryan Painting did a fantastic job making everything look original to the house. We're architects. So, we can be kind of particular. Brendan (the owner) handled everything with class and professionalism. The scheduled was extended a little as we added more scope. But, Ryan Painting was determined to do the job right and we're very thankful for that. Do not hesitate using Ryan Painting for your work. We hope to have them back in the spring for exterior work.

The job was completed efficiently, cleanly, and on time. I was impressed with the final outcome and Brendan came back out to finalize the job on time and was awesome and very communicative to work with. Would definitely use his company again.

Brendon, the owner, was immediately responsive to my call and came out within 48 hours to provide an estimate. The job started on time and finished early. Brendon's expert team - Tito and Angel were amazing. They were arrived on time, were extremely professional and knowledgeable, cleaned up after each day and the results are beautiful. My 63 year old home now looks fresh and gorgeous thanks to Ryan Painting. It was a truly amazing transformation.

He was always responsive and professional. They did a lot of repair work on rotten wood. They were always on time and used really good paint. They work quickly and have a great crew.

I have been using Ryan Painting for 7 years. We are relocating and I wish we could take them with us to another state. My roof leaked in two places causing water damage in two second floor bedrooms. Brendan stopped by the same day to assess the damage and give me an estimate. He scheduled the work within a few days of my roof being repaired. Workers were polite; service and responsiveness were excellent. Great price compared to others I'd contacted. Definitely recommend to others and would use again.

I had Ryan Painting come and give me an estimate for replastering a hole in kitchen ceiling from a leak. Brendan came out quickly to look and then emailed me the estimate for that and an additional plastering and painting of 3 bed. The bedroom had cracks in the walls. This is an old house. The work was started the following week. I can't say enough about the work and Brendan's men. Mike and Anthony were very professional, neat and cleaned up well each day. They did a super job. I will definitely use them again and I will also recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Scheduling was easy, the workers were prompt, and cleaned everything up. Excellent job, nice people. Will definitely use them again.

Brendon came out for an estimate and prepared the proposal very promptly. He was very accomodating and flexible when scheduling a start date. . He and his crew showed up on time. They were very friendly and professional. When the room was finished it looked fantastic. They were all very respectful of my house and cleaned up everything beautifully. We had a very good experience with Ryan Painting - we found them to be very thorough and customer-oriented. The whole project took about 3 weeks, but was probably extended by a few rain days and our slowness in selecting certain colors. The work comprised of painting all wood/metal on our 3-story home in West Philadelphia (front/back/breezeway). The previous paint job (completed by previous homeowners) was not well done, with significant peeling/chipping after only ~6 years. Ryan Painting came to do an estimate and were the most comprehensive/meticulous of the visits we had, which was reassuring as I wanted this done right. The quote came back approx 2x some other estimates, but it also indicated they intended to do significantly more prep work, which I knew would be important given the rough shape of the existing paint. They were able to give me an Angie's List discount and I chose to go forward with them. Tito and another individual did most of the prep/painting, with Brendan Ryan (the owner) stopping by on occasion for quality control. The prep work was extensive and well done. We also had them paint replacement vinyl windows and storm window casings so as to make the house really tie together. Brendan met with me initially to help select colors and was very helpful - even dropping by some additional colors he had in his shop (and a few he picked up at Sherwin-Williams) for me to test. He then came back several more times to work through colors while prep work was being done to ensure we were happy with the colors we ultimately chose. To do this, Brendan and/or his crew would paint a small segment of house so we could really get a sense of the final product, which was very helpful. They had a good sense of what colors worked well and worked pretty tirelessly with us (beyond what others would do, I'd suspect) to get it right. He was very patient and was always asking if we were happy with it. One other item to note is that Tito and his crew were spotless. Even though this was exterior work, we didn't see a single drop of paint anywhere on the ground. They also replaced two small window panes for free that cracked on the front porch as they were scraping the paint down. The final product looks fantastic - very crisp and professionally done.
