Description of Work: Installed 3 ceiling fans. They were great and i would use them again.

Description of Work: I had previously purchased 2 pair of outdoor speakers that I had JFAB Design install on my deck and patio as two separate zones. This involved running speaker wire from my receiver inside the house to each location (ie, a hole had to be drilled through the foundation for the wire). The work was done by a competent 2 man crew - an installer and his helper. | |While the installer explained how to turn each zone on and off (a function of my receiver) when the job was completed, it was necessary to have them come back a week later because I couldn't get the speakers to work. I emailed Joe and he y returned the following day, re-checked everything to confirm it was working properly, which it was, and re-instructed me on what buttons I needed to push on the receiver to work the zones. | |Except for when the crew was here, the entire transaction was done by email. Joe responded to my emails very quickly, usually within the same day. While the install cost was much more than I'd expected, the work done by the courteous and knowledgeable 2 man crew was high quality and professional. | |As for the cost, I wrongly assumed it would have been closer to the amount of the 'Angie's List - Big Deal' price that I'd paid. What I didn't think too much about before hand is the hourly rate (clearly noted in the terms of the deal) that is charged for each crew member for any time over and above the amount of time specified in the 'Big Deal' because I didn't think the job would take as long to complete as it ended up taking. | |I am pleased with the end result and would recommend JFAB Design to any of my friends, but would also mention they should be aware of potential cost.

Description of Work: Installed a full motion TV mount, ran all wires through the wall.

Description of Work: I purchased the $111 deal for 2 hours of work. We needed a new tv installed on an existing wall mount and the other tv taken down. Instead of 2 hours of work, he brought another tech, so it was 2 techs for 1 hour, which took 2 hours, so I was billed double. The deal seemed to be a bit of a lure, so it wasn't really a deal. I paid what I was quoted by another vendor. They came out quickly (within days of calling) and did the job!! BONUS!

Description of Work: I was having problems with the installation of my Sony Blue Ray and Surround System. Joe quickly identified the problem and got the system working perfectly. Also gave me some helpful hints to fully enjoy my system.
