Groff's pulled out the dishwasher, added an additional 2x4 under the counter to give enough width to accommodate the screws, aligned the dishwasher correctly, and screwed it into the new support. It is now firmly anchored and lined up with the counter correctly. Groff's has done a number of plumbing jobs for me, from toilet repair to installing an outside faucet to installing a disposal, and it is always done right the first time.

They replaced the thermocoupler. The heat came back on. Not much else to say. Groff's has been inspecting and repairing the boiler since 2011 when I moved in.

Our plumber arrived an hour before schedule, called prior to the service call and made sure to check everything instead of assuming it was a more expensive job. Was able to fix our lack of water without any parts and educated me on what to do in the future! Also checked everything to make sure it was all in proper working order to prevent calls in the near future.

.From the beginning Mike found the problem hot water leak in the floor.Ray told us in detail what needed to be done. Joe and Adam went to work .We give Groff''s our compliment. Job well done. Thank you guys.

They were on time, they cleaned up after themselves and they were fast and efficient. The pricing was fair.

The price was very much less than all other companies that had given estimates. The man that came to give me an estimate was very nice and he explained things very well. When the service man came, he was very polite and friendly. He got right to work and helped me solve a different problem I had been having with some lighting. He left no mess, got the job done and asked me to check his work. I got the name of this company by word of mouth and I am so glad. I won't use any other companies after using Groff's. I wish I had heard of them sooner! I had some horror stories with some other companies. Thank you Groff's for restoring some faith in humanity!

he came over on time and he went right to work. shut off water at the street and then changed the valve. he was friendly and very professional. total time was about 45 minutes. I think we found our plumber for future jobs.

My experience went very well. The pricing was reasonable and I was very pleased with the outcome of the service.

When we first began moving into our house, we needed some work done. The house is over 30 years old and some of the electric was outdated. We called Groff and he wired up new ceiling fans and chandeliers, changed out some outdated light switches and toggles and changed out the plug for the dryer so we could use ours. The work went well and fairly quickly. We were able to schedule him before the furniture was moved in and that made it much easier. We were very pleased with the work and will use him again should the need arise. I thought it was nice that he did give us an estimate on how much the work was going to cost and stuck to that estimate.

They are a good organization. We were very satisfied with him. Their customer service is very good. We visited them and they came out to install another comfort toilet. They are very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. We were very pleased with them. They are reliable and they are in the community. Through the years we would certainly consider to have them again. After the house was built, they followed up on inspection to be sure everything was fine. We found them to have very good service.

Well the charge for this service was $130.00. Within 7 hours the heating system was down and not working. I called and they had the service person come out to check the system. He replaced the pressure switch which took less than 15 minutes. This switch was under warranty - no charge but they charged us $120.00 for 3/4 of an hour service. I called to try and find out why I was being charge for a second repair when they did not repair it the first time. The manager said we charge by the GPS reading. When the truck is turned off it reads the location and when it is truck is started it end the reading and this is how they come up with the charge. He did not want to hear that the heating system was fixed the first time. Did not seems to care if we would use their company anymore. We will take our business to someone else that wants good customers. If the heating system had a different problem when hr returned I would have no problem with being charged.

Do not use these guys!!! My heater when out in the middle of the night, I had a late night service call, they charge me a arm and a leg ($450) and didn't even fix the issue. I had to have someone else come in the morning to fix the issue and redo the work they did the night before.

I made contact, they said that they could not send anyone out for several business days. They later called back and offered to send someone out the same day but I had already made other arrangements by that time.

We've recommended them to our friends. The professionalism was just great. They stayed within the quote and it was very reasonable for the work done. Their attitude was great. You could call them with any concerns you have in all areas. They're just great people to work with. When you have someone in your home, you want them to be very respectful of your home itself and to me, they were. It was just a great experience and we were a little trepidatious because of an experience we had with another company. We had to have them come in and do some additional work here. They're a wonderful firm. It wasn't cheap but they were very reasonable, and it was typical of what is being priced in the area as we had three quotes.

They gave a good estimate. The price was right. They were punctual, and it looks great. The quality was really good.

Extremely well. Mike first came out to the house and did an appraisal and then quote which we accepted. On the day of install, Mike showed up promptly on time and completed the project within 2 hours. He went above and beyond expectations as he plumbed the new unit to drain directly to the main drain rather than using the slop sink (as it was in the past). Due to a space constraint, Mike also provided us with a square brine tank to take up less space. Afterwards he gave a demonstration of how the unit works, provided some troubleshooting tips and then showed some tips to save us some money. This is my second experience with the Groff team and Mike as my tech and working with them is a pleasure. I will use again if the need arises.

They come out yearly for the maintenance. They are very polite and courteous. They took good care of the home while cutting holes for the duct work. They cleaned up and were pleasant to work with. We had a problem with the drainage for the A/C unit. The hole for the drain is not quite large enough which has caused some frustration. That is the only negative that has occurred.

Contacted Groff's for a quote on both bathroom and kitchen projects. Employee who came out to do quote was late. When I called back a few months later to schedule the work that employee was no longer with the company. They were happy to try and help but had a problem picking up with the job where the employee left off. Quotes were delayed on numerous occasions. Instructions about how to choose laminate and if there was time to have it installed were vague. Eventually I just had them replace a tub drain and a kitchen sink, sort of as a trial run. The day the work was scheduled the plumber was scheduled to arrive at 8am so I had to get up at 5am to take my dog to my parents so the plumber could work in peace. 9:30 am came and went and there was no plumber at my house and no phone call. When I finally called to follow up it took me 12 phone calls to even get a person to talk to. Finally I got my sales rep who after some checking called me back and told me he had scheduled the job wrong. They recovered fairly well as they pulled someone off another job ( although I am curious how the other person felt) and sent then to my house. The plumber worked very hard to get everything done in one day as was planned. The work seems well done and I haven't had any problems with it. The service leading up to the work was questionable.

Fantastic. I scheduled my job with their office staff and it was a pleasure working with the ladies. Mike showed up on time and promptly got to work replacing my well. Unfortunately, once he got into it he discovered the well was encased in mud and would require a lot more work to get operational. As a true professional does, Mike explained my options and allowed me to make the decision without any undue pressure. I decided not to pursue the replacement at this time. However, I had some other minor work that I wanted done and even though it was not on his schedule, Mike cheerfully accomplished each job. Each job was done professionally and expertly done. I could not be happier with my experience with Groff's and I will most certainly use them again and I will recommend them to all who ask for

Their estimate was fine and everything. I just felt I want to go with someone local, that was the difference.

When my wife and I arrived home from work at around 5:30 PM on a hot Friday evening in July, we discovered that our indoor temperature was about 84 degrees and the A/C compressor out back was not working. We placed our name on waiting lists from a few emergency A/C repair services with the hope of getting service at some point that evening. A little while later I had a call from a technician from Groff's Heating and Plumbing informing me that he had three calls before mine and that he didn't think he could be here until after 9:00 PM, but wanted to know if that would be okay. I confirmed that this would be fine. Later that evening I had a follow-up call indicating that he would be arriving within the next 15 minutes or so (before 9:00 PM). Upon his arrival, he diagnosed the issue in short order, made the proper repairs and turned on the A/C. We were back in business. He then took a little time performing a couple other diagnostic checks to confirm we were in good operating order. I suppose that the repair wasn't a great challenge for Dan, but to me, that wasn't the point. Our call wasn't an inconvenience to him and we didn't feel like a bother. He was professional, courteous and efficient.

We had a Moen faucet that began leaking from body. The leak was a pin hole that had probably been leaking for a long time but became large enough to detect only recently. Groff's was called in the morning and had some on site at the appointed time in the afternoon. The plumber took his shoes off when entering the house. The plumber was polite and explained what he was doing as he did it. Finding the leak required some detective work as it only leaked under pressure but the location was not visible when the faucet was hooked to the water pipes so the plumber routed a line to put the faucet under pressure. He soldered the leak and enabled us to avoid purchasing a new Moen faucet. We called Groff's because we had used Groff's a few years ago. Our well pump stopped working and required replacement. Of course it happened on a Sunday. Groff's sent someone on Sunday. He offered us the option to have someone come back first thing Monday morning to replace the pump at standard rates or complete the job at weekend rates. We chose waiting and sure enough, they were back first thing Monday.

Initially all went smoothly. Discovered later the lower level (bi-level house) was not near as cool as the upper floor. Called and complained to Groff's. The technician explained that it was not possible to get the downstairs as cool as the upstairs. We could not accept the 10 degrees of difference, so we called again, and they sent out a guy who was able to discover a way to run more duct to the lower level. A team came out and ran the ductwork at no extra charge. That did the trick. We are now happy customeers.

I think I spent about $300. They just did their yearly service for our furnace and our air conditioning and changed the filter. They are very punctual. He explained to me how to change the filter and where it was, as it was in a kind of a weird spot. They had installed air conditioning for our previous house a couple of years ago. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They showed up when they were supposed to. Their prices were competitive. They were professional. I have it narrowed down to them and another company. I have no complaints with them.
