Description of Work: Called Groffs on afternoon of 8/3 to replace the hard start capacitor on my heat pump, was quoted $150 - $200 "ballpark" price. Technitician arrived at 9:10 on morning of 8/4, changed out part, checked amperage, Refrigerent temp & pressure and inquired how often I change air filters. Job complete by 9:35, very professional start to finish - will deffinately call them for next p[roblem. Total cost $135.00

+ 0 moreI noticed some water under the hot water heater but no evidence of water leaking in the house. I called and explained what I saw and they sent someone in 2 hours. The plumber confirmed a small leak on the bottom and arranged to replace the heater immediately. The work was done efficiently and clean up was total.

+ -1 morethey removed the old system efficiently and installed a new gas furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, and thermostat. their work was neat and well done. they had to install piping for combustion air and exhaust for the furnace. They had to run water line to the humidifier and drain lines for the air conditioner and humidifier.

+ 0 moreI had a slow running kitchen sink drain that I was unable to clear with a hand drain auger and called Groff's to clear the line. As my disposal was over 20 years old I wanted to replace it as long as a plumber was coming out to my house anyway. The appointment setter informed me of the charge for the visit and we set up an appointment for two days later. The plumber arrived about 20 minutes early, assessed the drain situation and recommended the replacement of a severely clogged line as that would be cheaper than clearing the line with a power auger. He installed new waste pipe, connecting it to a larger outgoing pipe than the original kitchen drain pipe, and installed the new disposal. Total time about two hours. Left his work areas clean and dry. No problems with any of his work thus far.
Description of Work: New drain line from kitchen sink to waste line installed. New garbage disposal installed in kitchen sink.

They will make sure the work is completed to your satisfaction. On this occurrence, they arrived within 30 minutes of our call and the work was completed within 30 minutes.
Description of Work: We had water leaking from a pipe around the furnace. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty auto bleeder on the air scoop.
